spy tf2 is such a dork you get a domination on an engineer and he just yells ‘did i throw a WRENCH into your plans?’ while laughing his ass off. if you get a tie in comp he makes a pun about already having a tie and not needing another one. He makes a dad joke in the comics. Dork.

I love the idea that friendly fire is enabled and mercs of the same team can hurt eachother so to spy check they're just really tactile with eachother.

Like big pats on the back when passing, hugs as greetings, gripping eachothers shoulders alot y'know?

I’d suggest you read the tags from the op of this one!

This dynamic is honestly a favorite of mine as well. Especially when you take into account that Heavy is… Naturally quiet? He can be loud, but I think that silent trust is what really shows their bond the clearest. If they trust each other that deeply, then I don’t think they’d be too nervous about being together.

Of course, I also love the other dynamics, though. Honestly? Heavymedic is just an A++ ship all around.

my favorite heavymedic dynamic is them just like… falling into place next to each other. nothing dramatic or emotional or anything, there’s no clear starting point where something changes in their relationship from Friends to Dating. like everything between them goes unsaid but it’s also undeniably strong. nobody asks questions about it. it’s just heavy and medic, and medic and heavy, and that’s how it is and how it is meant to be. guys bein dudes

Scout learned the “I got a bucket of chicken” pick up line from his Ma and the reason Spy hates it so much is because it worked on him.

Ninjago headcanon

the ninjas have codes that they are supposed to use only in emergencies. There are also some specific codes in place that llyod doesn't know to keep him safe. when the code is said the ninjas are supposed to take llyod somewhere safe by any means necessary. even if it means knocking him out to do it. they also split up and have a distraction and have points there spose to meet and switch off with llyod from person to person in "meeting points" (they have a lot thought the city) while the others distract the enemy

Seiai Academy: Headcanon Edition

(latest update 3/9/21: additional course numbers info, basic uniform/costume info, hc addictions + minor hc changes)

Since BNHA refuses to give my favorite filler non-canon girls any attention whatsoever, my one braincell decided to do it myself. Take this long, convoluted headcanon dump for the Super Sapphic academy! I do warn you, it’s… pretty wordy.

image

Note: I literally copypasted half of this from my full masterdoc.

The Academy

Seiai Academy is a females-only hero boarding school. What makes them unique is their insistence in their students having great intellectual talent: the academy only accepts students who are consistent academic achievers. In fact, Seiai is more well known for the high academic success of its students, rather than for its hero course.

Of course, Seiai is still a good enough hero school in its own right. The Hero course is especially excellent for students who intend on becoming support or rescue heroes; if anything, this is one of the top schools in Japan for women aspiring to specialise in either of those two options, due its challenging yet flexible course.

The entrance exam for the school consists of two main parts, a specialised written exam and a practical (students wanting to enter the support course also require a portfolio of work). However, the written part of the exam is considerably more important, making up a majority of a student’s final mark. The written exam is rather challenging, on a very similar level of difficulty to UA’s, yet ends up being one of the easiest assessments an aspiring Seiai graduate will end up taking in their time at the academy.

The practical requires students to show the full capabilities of their quirks in front of a panel of assessors. They will be required to answer questions and hypothetical scenarios asked by the assessors, explaining and demonstrating how they’d apply their quirks in these various scenarios. Students are primarily assessed on the general ability of their quirks, their answers on how they apply and use them, and other factors depending on the student. Students don’t necessarily have to be fighters due to how the course works: it’s application and potential based on what the student has to work with that determines entrance. Though grades in the examination play a large part (this is how Intelli and Senkai got in).

Once students pass the exam, they still are required to partake in an interview with one of the members of the staff board, to properly gauge their motivations and aspirations. If a student is seen as excessively undesirable, they may be rejected from Seiai Academy. However, exceptions are sometimes made in the case of a ‘troublesome’ student being exceptionally gifted, or if the student in question or their family or other connections have a high public reputation (or are just very rich).

Students who successfully make it into Seiai choose, or are assigned, a course, depending on their future goals. These courses are similar to UA’s department system. Other than its Hero course, Seiai also offers Support and General Studies courses (Business Studies is a compulsory subject taught in all programs). All courses have necessary required subjects, each of which are academically demanding.

Whether a student can enter the hero course depends on their entrance exam and interview results. Someone who scores high enough to enter Seiai, but not enough to qualify for the Hero course, can only choose between the General Studies or Support courses. However, a student who can qualify for the Hero course is permitted to instead pick General Studies, if they prefer. In fact, many people go to/are sent to Seiai for its advanced academic curriculum, for reasons almost completely unrelated to heroics, so this option is often chosen.

Hero classes at Seiai are relatively small: ten people per class, with four classes per year, rather than two classes of twenty. The standards are very high; the smaller class size makes for better team bonding and allows teachers to teach the students better and more personally, though simultaneously makes the competition between each of them much more intense.

There are more general studies students than hero course students, as expected. The support course, however, also has a surprisingly high number of aspiring applicants.

Students are expected to wear their school uniforms to most extracurricular activities (in addition to pre-approved support items necessary for facilitating their quirks), as a way of representing the school. The uniforms themselves are surprisingly versatile and hold up well to physical exertion such as combat. The school does have sports uniforms, though, for internal school activities.

When it comes to hero costumes, students typically collaborate directly with with one or two assigned school staff that specialise in costume design (usually those in charge of the support course), working with and eventually getting approval from them. Once costume concepts are approved, they’re sent off to one of the professional support companies Seiai has connections with. This whole service does cost additional on top of student fees, and the costumes usually are more formal/slick/utilitarian and less silly or out there in design. Students can opt for other external options, though they may risk less quality as a result, and are expected to take care of maintenance and all other costs to do with their costume by themselves. In addition, DIY costumes still require certain elements to be sent to and/or approved by Seiai (quality checks, specifications, etc).

The school’s public image is a mostly high-class, professional-looking one, exuding an air of extremely high standard. The general vibe of the school, at first, certainly feels posh, but it’s not strict to the point of being military-esque (though it can be close at times). Students are expected to embody everything their school appears to be whenever off school grounds, especially if they’re in uniform.

Some students got in through hard work and dedication. Others were just gifted enough. Some were both. Most of the girls are pretty well-composed by default. However, quite a few were sent to Seiai to be straightened out and gain responsibility. Honestly? Behind the formal appearances, most of the Seiai girls are just tightly-strung and stressed and need to let loose once in a while.

The Students

Now this is where the fun begins. I’ve only put attention into the Seiai girls we know currently exist, because doing otherwise would just be making full-on OCs! Since this is already pretty long, though, I’ve put it under the cut!

Me: Do you think when Truman escaped The Truman Show and he saw the real moon for the first time, he was like "Huh it's a lot smaller than the one I grew up with," but then he noticed it changing after a few days so he brought it up like "Honey, the moon is getting skinnier. Is that normal?" and his girlfriend was like, "Yeah it does that. Don't worry about it," so Truman ignored it because he had bigger fish to fry (assimilating to the real world) until one day, it was just gone and he positively flipped his shit "GUYS SOMEONE STOLE THE MOON IT IS MISSING WE NEED TO ALERT THE MOON PROFESSIONALS ABOUT THIS HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SEE AT NIGHT WITHOUT MY MASSIVE NIGHT LIGHT" and then Lauren had to sit him down and explain the phases of the moon for an hour? Do you think he got really obsessed with the moon after that? Did he get a library card and check out all of the books he could find about the moon and the moon landing and moon rovers and space travel? Do you think he kept up with it after that by maybe following NASA's subscription newsletter to see if there are any updates on the moon? Could he tell the difference between a waxing and a waning crescent? Did it make him excited to see it during the day too sometimes? Does he miss it when it's too cloudy to see? Does looking at the moon at night help him cope with his newfound freedom because it proves he's not trapped on Seahaven Island anymore? Because not every day is the same like it was before? Because the world changes around him now instead of stopping when he leaves the room? Just like the moon will keep changing even if he can't see it? What's his opinion on werewolves?

I still maintain they shouldn’t have made Rhaenys’s entrance on Meleys a “shock” moment. I would have preferred it if Rhaenys’s escape and choice and journey to her dragon was directly paralleled with Aegon’s walk to the crown.

Not only would seeing more of that sequence give the show the chance to show why she went through the floor rather than through the back door (presumably, it was blocked and showing that also would have shown the danger she was in, and how far the Greens had moved in order to keep her dragon a hostage as much as her) but it would show us the exact moment she decided to make her move and change her stance from passive to assertive and make her actions have a better throughline through the narrative.

And I can’t help but think of the contrast, as Aegon and Rhaenys are both walking towards something that is empowering. For Aegon, the crown and subsequent love of the masses represent a change in his character as he feels that taste of power for the first time, as he takes that mantle. It’s a freedom for him, to be King, to be at the top of the pyramid. For Rhaenys, however, her freedom and her own power comes from her dragon. Just as we hadn’t seen Aegon claim his birthright (I use the term in context of the scene, I’m not looking to start a civil war), we hadn’t got a close look at what being a Targaryen means for Rhaenys: what her bond is with her dragon, what it looks like when she takes matters into her own hands.

And then it’s a true flip of power. Aemon on top, walking towards his coronation vs Rhaenys in the dark, watching for guards through the underground of the Dragonpit. You could use that to build the tension. What will she do when she reaches Meleys? Will she get to Meleys? And make the audience know that something will go wrong at this event, even as Aegon is crowned and triumphant. Make it less about shock, more about tension and payoff.

Till Rhaenys is the one with all the power: the true power. A dragon… against Aegon’s trinkets. As that’s what that scene was about, what Rhaenys’s choice was. It was a repeat of history: her watching the wrong man get the crown.

Aight I'm gonna do it... Here are the Runo/Shun headcanons

-I imagine they'd get together pretty slowly. Obviously, there are certain hurdles in the way, so they'd be hesitant to act on their feelings- or at least, Shun would. Runo, however, loves spiting Dan, and hates being tied to him despite him not giving any affection, so she's the one who makes the first move on Shun. It wouldn't be anything too overt or obvious (especially not to Mr. Socially-Inept himself) but she stays persistent about it, so eventually he gets the hint.

-Shun is surprised- not that Dan's maybe-baby is flirting with him, but that she's flirting with him specifically. But he's certainly not against it; he's Dan's best friend, so he knows that Dan barely gives her a second thought unless he's hungry. Why adhere to some made-up "bro code" when Dan had never even called her his girlfriend? Why rob Runo of her agency?...Yeah, he had to jump through quite a few mental hurdles to not feel guilty about it. And to stop feeling guilty about feeling guilty.

-The first thing that drives them to go out would probably just be physical attraction. But after spending one-on-one time with each other, Runo would like how surprisingly empathetic and thoughtful he is and the astoundingly weird vibes he gives off when he's comfortable enough, while Shun grows to appreciate her strong ambition and her deep passion for those she cares about.

-Obviously, Runo's a Big Fucking Tsundere who can't look anyone in the eyes without blushing, but Shun is surprisingly chill with physical affection. He's not big on it, but he'll put his arm around her shoulders or waist, or grab her hand, or even run his fingers through her hair without much thought. It drives Runo crazy just how casual he is about it.

-Of course, when Runo does eventually turn the tables on him with her classic words of affirmation style, he gets very quiet and flustered. He's pretty good at masking it (like most of his emotions lmao) but not from Runo. She knows.

-I think they'd go on a lot of outdoor dates, like picnics, going to the beach (or wherever you can swim in/near Wardington), going to fairs, all that good shit. And of course, because Shun is a try-hard who can't show affection unless it's through actions and he has a lot of affection to show, he was the one who organised them at first. He needs three courses for the picnic and a big blanket in case she wants to lie down and maybe some pillows? I could read her a book? We should go somewhere where the leaves are falling so it'll look nice, but not too many leaves we don't want ticks- yeah, he calms down eventually once they're further into the relationship, but Runo certainly doesn't have a problem with all the hard work he puts into it.

-They also spend a lot of time just chilling quietly together. They'll hang out in one of their beds, Runo scrolling through her phone and Shun reading some old book, one running their fingers through the other's hair or tracing patterns on their skin. Or they'll just have an afternoon snooze together, or a lazy morning makeout. They just love to relax together.

-When she's not working, Runo makes a point to NEVER enter the kitchen- which means she's a shit cook who, if left to fend for herself, is turning straight to good ol' Micky D's. Luckily for her, Mr. Well-Rounded Rich Man Shun is actually a pretty good cook because he had to cook for himself during/after his mum's death lol and a willing malewife who would gladly cook for his girlfriend at any point to stop her from destroying her arteries. Man will travel all the way into the city with a homecooked meal on request- or just at random sometimes.

-Is Dan okay with this? Who fucking cares lol.

-Runo is torn between wanting to flaunt her hot bf and wanting to hide him from her dad. On the one hand, she thinks everyone should know how happy they are and how well she's being treated. On the other hand, if her dad finds out how well he's treating her, he just won't stand for it. Luckily for her, once her dad does find out and tries his usual intimidation tactic, Shun is just. completely unaffected. and there's just not much else that her dad can do unless he wants his daughter's bf to call CPS on his ass.
