So, I was trying to find the lyrics for the extended version of DK West 2, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. So I decided to copy them down by ear. Some parts were difficult to understand so take this interpretation with a pinch of salt. Hopefully this helps the 2 people out there who need it. And if you think you have a closer interpretation or notice any mistakes, feel free to let me know! I color coded the boys in a darker green for West with Zuke in a lighter green. Bolded text means it’s a verse that isn’t included in the final game.
1. is Mayday the same age as her canon counterpart? 2. Is Mayday going to try to destroy NSR Tower? 3. How did Yinu and DK West meet?
1. She is a little older, but still pretty young.
2. Probably, since No Mixed Roads is just a retelling of the original game.
3. Yinu used to be homeless and lived on the streets, until West found her and decided to take her under his wing.
Will West disown Zuke like in the original game?
Yes
If DK West's signature catchphrase is "EWAH!", what about Alternate Zuke's? Will it be the same?
Probably, but I'm only saying that because I can't really find a good catchphrase for him.
Yinu and West(No Mixed Roads)
Just some random facts about Yinu and West in my NSR au
Yinu's keyboard has the function to levitate. She is able to sit on it and even use it as a hover board.
West's mike has an antenna that can extend. He is able to use this as a whip and cane.
The reason why West beatboxes in this au is because it is a form of verbal percussion.
West was the one who got Yinu the keyboard, though she is the one who painted the rose onto it.
If it wasn't obvious already, West has been teaching Yinu Malaysian!
Yinu and West live in a mobile home in Vinyl City, with West being the one carrying it around to different locations.
Yinu and West has a dog!(it's the same dog that chases DJSS in the end credits doodle.)

Just some random facts about mayday in my NSR au
She actually isn't a fan of classical, she just worked for Natura for a long while until she got fired.
She is a little older then her canon counterpart, but if you were to see them side to side you would barely see a difference.
Mayday's tablet is hot pink with a small green alligator keychain on the corner.
She actually likes most of the NSR artist's music, her main focus for revenge is Natura.
Yinu would see Mayday as an aunt, While West would see her as a close friend(at least until the end of the story).
Yinu and West's dog immediately didn't like Mayday when she started living with them.
Mayday doesn't know that Yinu is Natura's daughter.
West has at least once tried to flirt with Mayday, only for it to fail terribly.
Since you said that west uses a mic to beatbox and attack, with a whip, couldn't you say he uses a bullwhip to attack people??? Since he doesn't use the shadow puppets in your au.
I gave West the ability to use his mic as a whip because Mayday and Zuke use they're instruments as weapons in canon.
Are you going to call Zam DJ Zooming Zephyr Zam? And also what are you going to use for DK West for the Vinyl City Civilians Swap?

2. I really don't know. All the other remaining NPCs doesn't seem to fit the DK West personality.
(Idk if I sent the same thing once or twice cuz I thought it wasn't sent, so I'll ask a different one.) What vehicle will Yinu and West's dog gonna pilot instead of a helicopter
It's probably still gonna be a helicopter, because most of the other flying vehicles just don't seem to fit.

Finally finished the 3rd entry in my series of drawing all No Straight Roads bosses. There was a first draft of this that I scrapped, then I started over, and then I spent forever getting the shadow puppet right... In short, the skill ceiling to make this one was about as disproportionate as DK West's boss fights are in the game. Lore-accurate and immersive art project.
