Working on my joke Christmas idea for the year: leather stocking covered in bondage straps.

I was sad I wasn't able to get it done before the holiday, but I ended up spending the couple days before heading out working on gifts for family. So that was productive too.

None of the rivets are hammered in place yet, it’s too late tonight to be pounding on my neighbor’s ceiling. I’ll check back in on it tomorrow and see if I think it needs any adjustments, then I’ll finish it off.

And here’s my finished holiday joke for the year! Kinky leather Christmas stocking! Fill it with your favorite stocking stuffers!

I used 2 types of thick garment leather for the stocking (because I was on the last scraps of 2 different hides), and a third, shinier type for the straps. I still need to make up a price for it and post it to Etsy, but I figure it’s probably done for this year.

According to the text of Tumblr’s guidelines, technically this doesn’t count as adult content. We’ll see if it still causes problems. (That wood is awfully flesh-colored, it’s triggered the content mommy a bunch of times.)

Nail this under your chimney and wait for Santa to slide down and stuff something fun into your stocking. What do you want bound up under your tree when Christmas morning comes around?

Just grabbed a couple quick photos of this piece before I shipped it out. Made it 2 years ago as my Christmas season shitpost, and it finally sold! It's on its way to San Francisco, which is where like 90% of my kinky joke items end up living.

If someone wants another one of these, drop me a note! I've got just enough time and materials to make another in time for the holiday.

Made a blue anodized niobium collar necklace for a friend. I love the subtle differences in the color from one ring to the next, with flashes of teal and purple.

We went with niobium because he wanted something fairly heavy, and the other metals that can be colored are quite light. He’ll be providing a lock for the closure, so I just grabbed a spring-opening O ring for the photos.

I'd gladly take custom orders for these, though the niobium is rather more expensive than I can keep stocked. I do plan to stock up on other materials in this ring size, though, to expand my available options for chainmail. Probably my top 3 favorite (non-scale maille) weaves use this ring size, so it does feel kind of silly that I’ve never really stocked anything other than stainless steel at this size.

Prototype strap-on harness! This has been in the works for Too Long, but it's finally done!

It's made for a friend, and we decided on this pattern with leg straps and elaborated-jock-strap style butt straps. Partly to make the whole piece super solid and unlikely to move around while in use. But also just for the aesthetics. I used a bunch of big O-rings, and went for double-layer straps on the main belt and leg straps. Plus, added in some extra D-rings where I could fit them, because you can't be a top all the time.

Made with vegetable-tanned leather and brass hardware. Every piece was measured, cut, beveled, burnished, wet-formed, oiled, conditioned, burnished again, and riveted together, all by hand.

I'm not sure if this sort of thing will make its way into my product offerings. But I do know that I want to make something similar for myself, and I have an Idea for an outfit that it would work with.
