thinking about how doomed chip and arlins reunion is. like. even not including all of the corruption and stuff implied to be happening with the hole in the sea. chip was around 9. a 9 year old who thought the world of arlin, and how can you live up to the expectations of a child who thinks the world of you, one who has had a decade to build you up in their mind.

and on the other side. arlin remembering a small boy who was a bit mischievous at worst, now stood in front of him ten years older, with countless scars, not even breathing. completely unrecognisable.

all im saying is that no party involved is ready for what might happen and thats scary as hell
