Doctor Strange Spoilers Kind of?
If I ever turn evil, just get Patrick Stewart to look into my eyes and say that “just because someone stumbles and loses their path, doesn’t mean their lost forever” line with his gentle, understanding eyes. I will do the fastest life makeover in the world. I will speed run that redemption arc. I will fix my mistakes so fast it breaks the space-time continuum out of sheer force of will to not disappoint him.
I feel like if the big bad Marvel and Disney execs weren’t this controlling and queer phobic we definitely would have gotten full blown confessions. I am pretty sure the writers made them canon but very discretely (not at subtle too). Take for example when Charles and Erik accuse each other about the other abandoning them- I’m just saying that is not something I would say to my friends , at least not that accusingly 😂 and then at the end of Dark Phoenix when Erik goes to meet Charles who is now retired and says that “you once offered me a home, now let me offer you mine” I don’t think that is something a person who is just friend would say 😂
Was it casual when all four of their actors ship them and found it easier to portray their relationship if they were acting as if they were in love?

So numerous are the adaptations of Charles Dickens’ evergreen A Christmas Carol that it is difficult for any new retelling to bring anything original to the tale. This Hallmark produced made for TV movie features decent production values, some neat visual effects and a somewhat more sombre tone than expected but doesn’t really stand out from the Christmas Carol crowd.
