Yeah yeah.
The Who seems like a band that was started by a prank. Like somebody told Pete Townshend that you have to be able to do parkour to be a guitarist and by the time he found out they were fucking with him, his band was famous.

Me, age 16, talking with Pete Townshend, circa 1968. Spent the entire day w the whole group. Helped them get the guitars they trashed that night at Fishman's Pawn Shop. They were supposed to have dinner at my house, at Pete's request. He wanted a home cooked meal and spend time w the family. Unfortunately, mom and dad didn't get there in time. Both Pete and I were unhappy. Hung mostly w Pete that day. He's a genuinely nice guy. ~ Trabue Gentry
