How come one random 4channer says some stuff about a certain pokemon, and then suddenly Vaporeon’s sex icon, and every mention of vaporeon will incur weird comments?

So I saw this fanart of Mullet!Stan with Pokémon on Twitter and this kicked off like a 5 hour discussion between me n some friends about what Pokémon I think they’d have. My hc is that they both got Eevees as their starters with ford’s being shiny. Their parents couldn’t afford evolutionary stones or to take them to either the ice or mossy rock so they eventually evolved by friendship. Ford’s evolved first during the day and Stan’s evolved at midnight not because they were lacking any affection, they were just late bloomers. Their eevees would sort of take on the personality of the other twin with umbreon being haughty but caring and espeon being playful but protective. When Stan got kicked out, he took umbreon with him but considered sending him back or giving him up, but he couldn’t because of how much it reminded him of the better days with his brother. When Stan gets that letter him and his umbreon were extremely excited to see their siblings again only to find out that Ford didn’t have espeon anymore. Then the twins got into the fight and ford was pushed into the portal yada yada. It wasn’t until Dipper and Mabel came along when Dipper found the journal inside the tree alongside a pokeball. He was afraid to open it at first and Mabel convinced him to do so. The pokeball’s mechanics were so rusty that they struggled to open it but when they did out came a shiny espeon. It was extremely confused and even hostile at first but then it realized it was inside the shack and it ran out of the twine’s bedroom in the attic to go look for Ford. But he didn’t find ford, he found Stanley but everyone was calling him by Ford’s name. (I have more but this rambling has gone on for long enough lol)

Okay so here’s more sketches ignore the writing in studying for Chinese 101. I think Dipper’s first Pokémon would be Teddiursa because ursa is a constellation and bc of his friendship with the multibear I think he would find this spunky little teddiursa in the woods that wants to follow him around. Mabel is soooo jealous bc why does Dipper get a Pokémon first. Then she forgets all about it because she won Waddles (shiny lechonk) Mabel doesn’t really have an interest in becoming the champion she just wants her Pokémon to be pretty and cute so she’s a Pokémon contest trainer while dipper wants to be a professor like his uncle. Then there’s my doodle of Stan and ford when they were kids and I think their asses are just hanging around in the woods and hunting monsters, Stan is running circles around ford who’s walking slow asf bc he’s looking through his notes on the mythical Pokémon they’re chasing. My idea is that the twins are chasing after legendary Pokémon and they want to become professors together where Ford does all the nerdy research and stuff while Stan helps him do the physical part. They’re inseparable as kids and teens, they’re always fighting in double battles and they have great synergy. Their eevees almost always already know what they want to do before they even give a command.
Nobody asked for more but I have them anyway because I have autism. So I keep talking about poliwag and the Pines. Why? Because they’re split evolutions but not just any split evolution, politoed evolves with a kings rock while poliwrath evolves with a regular water stone. So they twins definitely found the poliwags in the local stream they frequented in the woods. Their parents had gifted a king’s rock to Ford because they believed that it would help him concentrate on his future and manifest into becoming a great noble person but they didn’t have/didn’t want to give Stanley a water stone because he wasn’t destined to be great. (This was Filbrick’s doing rlly their mama would never do that to them) So Ford had a politoed in high school but I think that Stanley wouldn’t get to evolve his poliwhirl until post portal when he finds a box of old things with pictures of them in their childhood and a crumpled up gift box addressed to him. It read “Happy 18th birthday Stanley.” And some other things that had become illegible due to water damage and inside is a water stone. (I don’t care if this is OOC this is MY angst AU) Anyway, there are plenty of split evolutions that involve a kings rock and a different more mundane way of evolution so why did I choose poliwag? WELL in my last post I said that I see them as masters of double battles right? Well, Politoed gets the ability drizzle, which sets up rain on the field while Poliwrath gets the ability Swift Swim which doubles the speed of the Pokémon during rain. They both start off as the same Pokémon (they’re born as twins) but they eventually turn into two different Pokémon that compliment each other (they’ve grown apart but if it comes to it then they’ll still work together) and during weirdmageddon I think they’ll have to set aside their differences for a final double battle against bill cipher :D
