I'm so in love with Run BTS from their new album. I could write a whole article about this piece. Firstly it reminded me of their beginnings. The rap line dominated the songs and even the vocal line spoke more than actually sang. But when the sing it reflects their ranges so freaking well. Especially Jimin and Jin in the bridge part are killing me every time and then later on their falsettos *chief kiss*. V and JK are the basis for the other two and also kill their parts. The rap line as whole just flexed. I was killed and got sent to heaven. Yoongi just rapped without taking a breath like it was the most natural thing ever. Hobi showed a complete new voice in my opinion,I have never heard him like this. And RM's flow is so fucking vibey you need to move your body to it. I just stop here but this song is one of the best songs I've heard ever. Period.
Sine Run BTS I have the need for Jin to belt again. He has so much power in his voice and I want to hear it again.
I have many thoughts about BTS hiatus.
1) Firstly, I will continue to support all of them in whatever they decide to do. I am actually very excited to see what their actual individuality can create.
2) Secondly, I think it was the right decision to take a break from the group. I don't like to assume anything especially because our boys have such a special bond but it could easily end in resentment and their quality could not be the same as before. If you take their explanations into consideration they really need to find their own again to produce the music and concepts that represents them and what they are proud of.
3) Thirdly, it doesn't change that I'm still very uncertain for the future and therefore sad. We don't know exactly what is to come, how often we see our boys together.
4) Fourthly, I had a feeling that something like this was coming. The whole proof album was so reminiscent and nostalgic that I had a feeling that an ending was to come. And I think it stands in connection with their military enlistment which this year is also coming for Jin. I think subconsciously I put all the pieces together but nonetheless it was so shocking to me that I couldn't stop crying after half of the Festa dinner.
My feelings were honestly the trigger for this post because I don't see many people talk about crying while watching the dinner. ^^'
