[song review- amour by rammstein]
(Before anyone asks, it's the only Rammstein song I know and no, I don't know German- I just read the translated lyrics.)
All I can say is that this song is a dark, haunting gem that I don't think I can get out of my head anytime soon. That guitar melody sends a shiver down my spine every time I hear it. I'm pretty indecisive about which line I love the best but the "Bitte, bitte, gib mir Gift" at the end makes me feel shrimp emotions.
However, it's the theme that made me obsessed with Amour: that love can be painful and destructive rather than being pure and sweet. I'm glad someone's addressed that because it's very easy to ignore the dark side of love. It also shows how even toxic love can still be addictive and cause people to mess themselves up without realising it.
That really hits me hard as a loveless aro because I've experienced this so much when it comes to my family and friends to a degree that now I feel extremely disconnected from it and the word itself has negative connotations for me. Yet, I still find myself torn between trying love and befriend others and isolating myself out of fear of getting hurt or used again.
Plus, Amour is the first song that I know which is about love but isn't a romantic song itself as it 'dissects' what it truly is without much bias.
Alright, y'all, I have a song in my files and I want to find out if it's been published anywhere or if anyone can lead me to a source. It should be attached to this post but honestly idek. I have a few leads, none of them really mean anything, though. Someone I used to be friends with sent it to me over Discord maybe a year ago. The name, album, etc. I attached were given to the song by myself, not by the creator. I already tried to use Shazam to find it and got 0 results back, but please feel free to try it again because I don't know if I was going it right
ANYWAY, Leads: jayes_ (a new username of the person who sent me the song, I think he made it himself but idk) duck#0271 (his username at the time of sending) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMAotnvRSOc << THIS SONG. He wrote it a little bit before shit hit the fan and then later he sent me Duck's Reprise Jonah Sweet (an old username of the jayes_ YouTube channel)
Please send me a link if there's a YouTube video, a Spotify song, anything that connects to this

Song Review - Rain on Me Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande

Lady Gaga has used the theme alcohol abuse throughout her past discography. The main example would be her concept album The Fame Monster featured “So Happy I Could Die,” written specifically about struggling with the “alcohol monster.” And it seems her song Rain on Me featuring Ariana Grande is no exception.
Although the imagery of rain refers to “the amount of drinking that I was doing to numb myself”, as Gaga explained in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, she also said that it also refers to tears and crying. In fact, Gaga describes the song as a "celebration of tears," being able to keep going despite the hardships of life. We’ve all had hardships and I’m sure that a lot of people are having all kinds of hardships even now. Whenever I listen to this song, thinking about the lyrics especially, it reminds me that no matter whenever something goes wrong, of course I’d love to be high and dry, but at least I’m still alive afterwards.
Rain on Me was released on May 22nd 2020 and it’s currently No.1 in UK charts, replacing Da Baby’s single Rockstar featuring Roddy Ricch.
Vocal wise, Grande uses her signature high note octave and her ad libs, and for me, you know its Ariana Grande when you hear those octaves and ad libs. Both Grande and Gaga’s vocals are described as booming in the song and even in the final chorus, it exploding, as if they are trying to inspire us to persevere through the hardship, healing, and finding beauty in the pain, heartbreak, and life.
Whenever I would have a bad experience or bad day, I will listen to this song. This song reminds me that yes, we all have our bad day but we can power through it.
Overall, I love the song Rain on Me, it’s the kind of track that I would dance to and may be sing to myself.
I'm so in love with Run BTS from their new album. I could write a whole article about this piece. Firstly it reminded me of their beginnings. The rap line dominated the songs and even the vocal line spoke more than actually sang. But when the sing it reflects their ranges so freaking well. Especially Jimin and Jin in the bridge part are killing me every time and then later on their falsettos *chief kiss*. V and JK are the basis for the other two and also kill their parts. The rap line as whole just flexed. I was killed and got sent to heaven. Yoongi just rapped without taking a breath like it was the most natural thing ever. Hobi showed a complete new voice in my opinion,I have never heard him like this. And RM's flow is so fucking vibey you need to move your body to it. I just stop here but this song is one of the best songs I've heard ever. Period.
