Putting Your Makeup On - Tumblr Posts

Do you have any headcanons of Alucard, D, and Aizawa watching their s/o putting on makeup?

Not gonna lie. I came up with this when one of my coworkers teased me after they saw me putting on makeup (specifically lip gloss).

Putting your Makeup On

Do You Have Any Headcanons Of Alucard, D, And Aizawa Watching Their S/o Putting On Makeup?

Believe it or not, something so mundane as putting makeup on, I am unable to really write about from how your ask is worded. It appears to me that you are coming from a sexual aspect as usually asks are about Alucard and the rest finding or dealing with sex when not being a comfort character, problem solving, boost esteem or really in love.

The question in return is why do you wear makeup? Is it to make you prettier? It's to get attention, generally csi men? Are you single? Is it part of expressing yourself or with your clothes? Self esteem?

Your reasoning is yours, and I am not trying to judge. When I wore make-up more often, it was to get male attention and not female attention. Do remember if coming from a sexual point of view, what you are doing in the office/ workplace could cause you to become a victim of sexual harassment or create sexual harassment to others.

Perhaps it's because of my line of work where wearing makeup and perfume can be a trigger (for some with Autism scent can be too overwhelming for example) or where I live in an extremely rural area where I don't wear makeup. Having hiked ten - fifteen miles in to see a glacier and then back out, make-up is rather silly.

I do understand that some, going from an angle of disfigurement or wishing to conceal something, too. It makes logical sense.

A cultural reason I get.

Wearing make up to your wedding and special occasions, yes on that too. But every day doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps because I have insomnia. I would prefer the time "doing my face" to actually sleeping longer. I only know men on this, but they get impatient as usually the makeup part has you late to the function.

This is my problem about makeup, but I have known too many narcissistic women and find vanity disgusting in general. And the little care that being late because you had to put on your makeup, kinda deal.

Second, this need to wear makeup in America dates back to the post-war 1950's and what rich white men expected and demanded of their wives. I am rebellious and don't tell me I have to wear makeup. Guess good thing I wasn't born then. So you probably should get a second opinion, aka ask another fanfic writer on this one..

📍Some info on makeup:

An estimated 44 percent of American women do not like to leave their homes without makeup on. Research shows there are two primary reasons why women wear makeup:

•Camouflage – Women who are anxious and insecure tend to use makeup to appear less noticeable.

•Seduction – Women who want to be noticeably more attractive tend to use makeup to be more confident, sociable, and assertive.

The effect of enhanced outer eye and lip color is greatest on straight men, since they biologically are wired to be drawn to feminine-looking, fertile women.

Websites listed below the answer as usual.

Moving on. I am writing in the order you mentioned. So it will be Alucard first.

🍷•Alucard

•One time definitely to see the change to your looks. Yet, wearing makeup was only for the rich when he was breathing. Female vampires tend to use lots of makeup to appear more living than undead. Some could look like clowns, too, as makeup wasn't down to such a science with eye shade, lipstick, Rouge, and such as today.

•I am unsure if Sir Hellsing wears makeup, so that might influence Alucard about watching you apply makeup. It would depend on your line of work or job field.

•It would also depend on Alucard's patience too. Probably putting your lip gloss on as it gives the appearance of being wet and the images of open mouth kissing…

You might tend to lick your lips and that's an invitation..

⚜️•Vampire Hunter D

•In the frontier, generally, makeup isn't worn outside towns or cities. Money and time being a factor generally.

•Not that D doesn't appreciate you putting makeup on for certain things. He knows and understands you want to look beautiful to others when in public. But often, he's watching out for danger , not applying makeup.

To him, you are beautiful with or without…

•The one fascinated would be Lefty. The applying and religious dedication to doing it, the luxury of spending time to apply it. Perhaps occasionally for D is watching you putting makeup on your eyes or, as like Alucard, your lips.

🥢•Shouta Aizawa

•Shouta would be different in some ways. Makeup is a part of Japanese culture and the third nation in using makeup the most. Japanese women wear makeup but nothing that requires a lot of touch-ups.

•If applying traditional makeup and wearing a Furisode for a tea ceremony or functions that appeal to looking as such. To be watching means, in the past, gives a sense of voyeurism for Japanese men.

•This would seem to make sense for Shouta. Probably the painstaking task of applying the lip coloring..

📍With that written, you should really ask this question to someone else about makeup and turning the guys into ravenous sex beasts, if that was what you were hinting at.

Sorry, I can actually and honestly say I failed, but it is what it is.
