None of us asked to be and are content w who and what we are. I'm not saying it's an excuse for misbehavior. I'm saying it's an explanation. I'm not saying we should tolerate misbehavior. I'm saying we should have understanding and compassion. And I'm not saying we should deny our feelings. We're human. Sometimes we need to be angry and w good reason. But sometimes we need to know who we really should be angry at and why. This is the importance of understanding. Go ahead and be angry, hate even. You can love someone yet hate their behavior or what made them misbehave. Sometimes we just have to love at a safe distance. And sometimes we need to remove ourselves completely. It all comes down to what we can afford. Feeling love and giving love are two different things. We can love all we want but sometimes we simply can't afford to give it. Life and relationships have to be equitable.

Some Advise I Gave To A Friend
"Honey, that's just what you have to expect from the average guy. It's as natural as the average girl strutting her stuff. It's all about the process of evolution and natural selection. I know you know all this. But, sweetheart, you're not the average girl and you strut your stuff more than anyone I have ever known. I've never seen anyone dance so fast. So, you just have to expect it. Mind you, there's nothing wrong w you strutting your stuff any more than there's anything wrong w guys sniffing you because of it. You know this as well as I do. But maybe there's more to it than that. Maybe the response you're soliciting is actually quite the opposite and even more covert and cunning. Perhaps what you're really looking for is the man who is disaffected by your strut; someone that likes you for who you are and not for your wares; someone you don't have to dance like mad for; someone you don't have to "push your way through a crowd of people to get their attention".
