Reblogging this really quick to add that my godsister was having issues with sending payments to my Ko-Fi and I'm not sure if that problem will affect everyone! If you're having issues with it PLEASE inform me immediately so I can share my PayPal directly and also report the issue to Ko-Fi! We've literally recieved ZERO comissions and I'm hoping that isn't the reason. I did try to make a report myself, but they said the consumers having problems need to report any bugs themselves.
Hey everyone! I'm posting this on our system blog so that we can reblog it elsewhere, but we just opened a Ko-fi to help us raise money to get a wheelchair!
We've been suffering from chronic pain for about over two years now, and it has only gotten worse over time. We've tried to fight with our doctors and have them look further into this to no avail. We still haven't been able to get a diagnosis of whatever is causing this pain. Because of this, we are unable to have our health insurance cover even a small portion of the price of mobility aids. We are poor and unemployed, as our mother is also disabled and unemployed, so we have zero financial aid whatsoever.
We are trying to get into college this year, and if we are to attend classes in person full time, we need proper mobility aids and cannot continue to go without them. Going to high school last year and commuting by foot every day was already debilitating enough for us.
We do have a walking cane, but we need bilateral support, so using it doesn't help us as much as it should.
We are trying to raise at least $1500 CAD before August of this year (which is when our semester will start).
We are doing digital art commissions, as well as custom Discord emojis and tattoo designs, to help us raise this money. All of these are listed on our Ko-fi. We are also accepting general donations. Anything helps.
