I find so funny that even though we're introject heavy the most formed alters are almost always the brainmades, and like 98% of the fragments are introjects

It's like the brain says "We need a new fragment, let's introject... Wait, we need a more fully formed alter? Here you go a brainmade"

All the formation budget goes to the brainmades /j

Good reminder that if someone can't accept and understand trans people the chances for them to understanding and accepting you as a system are low to nothing at all

If they can't understand and accept a consistent and simple change in one's identity, they won't understand constant changes, aka switches

Self diagnosed systems, this is for you

Remember that you can always be wrong about being a system, damn even profesional diagnosis can get wrong sometimes, and that's ok!

Just because you're self diagnosed doesn't mean you're not valid, but remember not to stick only to this possibility, is ok to be wrong about being a system and that doesn't make you a bad person at all

But please, be aware you can be wrong, and if you do, don't be harsh on yourself neither assure you're a system even if you know you're not now

Mistakes can happen, acknowledge them, move on and don't be bad with yourself, I assure you no one will hate you if they're really a good person, cause life is about mistakes and learning

Or for example in our case we focuse more in the dissociative part cause that's something daily for us, we tend to forget about alters because of dissociationg of the disorder

The CDD community has minimized the disorder into alter disorder and that gets into my guts in a bad way, we need to talk more about other things of CDD, bad, neutral or good

My personal hot take

The CDD community is so focused in the alters part of the dissorder that it became bullshit and some kind of annoying, the community ignoring all the things outside alters and trauma is the reason why CDD community can't be taken seriously by CDD systems that don't care about glorifying and making pretty the disorder

Online CDD system challenge, make a post or talk about something about CDD that doesn't involve:

Alter or alter mentioning

Trauma as the way of developing the dissorder

Basic dissociation rambling that even singlets know

Idk man, I'm bored and this community doesn't seem to understand and talk about what CDD is

The moment when your brain decide is time to get a flashback and dreams about that person/system who hurt us a lot so all the system gets triggered and now all the subsystem of introjects of that person/system is frontstuck alone feeling like they're their source even though they know they're not

Actually yes, at least for what I been reading about introjecting in general psychological context and introjecting in OSDDID context I can say it is because of that

Some definitions easy to find in google about introjection in non-OSDDID context are:

The unconscious adoption of the thoughts or personality traits of others. It occurs as a normal part of development, such as a child taking on parental values and attitudes.

Introjection, one of many defense mechanisms posited by Sigmund Freud, occurs when a person internalizes the ideas or voices of other people. Some mental health professionals believe that introjection is a protective strategy that children employ in order to cope with unavailable parents or guardians: By unconsciously absorbing the characteristics of parents, children reassure themselves that some aspect of the parent is present even if the parent is physically absent. Depending on the types of attitudes that are picked up, introjection may lead to positive or negative effects.

So yeah, introjecting is a coping mechanism of the brain, when you get fixated in some show or media you tend to mimic and introject parts of the media in yourself as a way to understand, act and cope with the external world

If this mimicking and helping is seen as something that is needed for the brain is normal for the brain to make introjects

Basically I just expanded a little bit about how this works, I lazy to do a better explanation lol

I wonder if people who are autistic and have OSDDID are more likely to have introjects because it's so common for singlet autistic people to mimic/mirror others behaviors

My fave part about being an actor persecutor host is everyone seeing me and treating me like "Aww you're such a cute, good person, so sad you're traumatized and people broke you" and treat me like I'm a good person who is genuinely desirable and sweet to be around

I just realize the reason why I didn't like to investigate or talk about CDD but I used to have that as an hyperfix is because of splitting

I split an alter who was so so fixated on the topic that every friend we have and even in the own system we called them "The CDD master", now he splitted and it's not here anymore, and I fused with some of their fragments and I'm again fixed on this topics

This alter kept my hyperfix when it split... HE TOOK PART OF MY IDENTITY TO FORM HIS 😭

This is just another prove that alters don't make more identities, is just dividing and having less identity distributed in several parts

It happened us very similar and more confusing tbh

DID -> I can't be a system that's ridiculous -> P-DID -> OSDD -> What am I saying this isn't posible -> DID -> pfDID

yall heard of osdd to pfdid pipeline but have you heard of

did -> im not a system -> osdd -> pdid -> polyfragmented pdid (i was unaware that pdid didnt actually fit my symptoms and it isnt possible to be pdid and polyfrag to my knowledge) -> pfdid

But being more theoretically, introjects in CDD context are alters who formed based on something that already existed, and because the oc already existed when the alter formed... Well yeah, it's an introject

This can also applied to any other creation the system mades and then gets in the system as an alter, they're introjections

If I'm not wrong autoject is a term for all the introjects whose source is something created by someone else of the system, some autojects don't consider completely like introjects because the brain made them but not from scratch, so you can just use that if you want

Labels are that, labels, made for your own comfort, so if they don't like introject/autoject/brainmade let them use whatever they want, but theoretically speaking they're introjects, or if they wanna be a little bit more introject separated but still explain they have an "external" source they can use autoject

another serious question for the osddid community

when you make an oc and then get an alter of said oc is that technically an introject? like one of ours just considers herself brainmade since she barely associates with her source anyway (literally an oc we had at like 12) but then another considers themself an introject so it’s??

like are they technically brainmade since yeah it’s an existing character but it’s YOUR OWN existing character or like? 😭

Planning about making a project related to systems and help systems, but I'm not sure if the word I came up for the idea it's good or not... So help me decide!

It has a very large history and therefore context, it makes us feel mor ourselves persmos than alters, although we tend to use alters when talking about ourselves publicly because people don't know what persmos mean lol

is it okay to treat alters like their source if they ask/want to be treated that way?

Why wouldn't be ok? If they ask to and want that go ahead and do it

The phrase "Don't treat alters like their source" it's because a lot of alters don't ID with source, have problems with it and prefer to not be treated as it, or in some cases people minimize the alter just to their source when we have to remember that their more than their source

Source separation is good for some alters, for some others is not and it can be harmful in some cases, like a lot of things is "it depends"

I could talk about all the implications and all that info but I don't want to fill my main blog with this topic, I mostly use our @syspport for that (so if you want a more in depth response and want to make more specific questions related to that topic you can go there and do it), and maybe I'll use the @cddcommunity blog to talk about how the community treats the introjects and sources things

Yeah we don't like endos interacting and we have our opinions and syscourse and all of that but, damn, all the ven blogs for pwCDD I know surround about syscourse and because of a bad experience we had with one I don't trust to vent on those anymore
