Gonna be real I don’t know what I’m doing, I got this so I could follow some amazing artists and creators out there who deserve more love than I can express. I made this tumblr blog because it’s a bit fun and therapeutic to me, dealing with mental health/anxiety issues, and I don’t expect (or even want) people to find this blog.
If you’ve found your way here, I both appreciate you and apologize for what you might find.
I enjoy the idea of paladin characters who, instead of adhering to their oath or faith like your bog-standard religious dogma that is law to them, decide to look at their oath and devotion as a more introspective set of ideals, not to be treated as the means of zealotry but as metaphor and allegory for a path of self improvement and realization of one’s belonging in the big picture.
As you’ve probably seen in a recent reblog, I have a tendency to feel intense anger. I apologize if it’s put you off from this blog, but once again if you support the latest techbro shiny toy, you are not welcome here or on my goddamn planet, so kindly fuck off. Reasonable folk who don’t support the latest set of jingling keys, you are welcome here.

My birthday was a couple days ago, and I’m still amazed I made it to 30. Not gonna lie, when I realized it, I had a brief existential crisis about being aware of the passage of time, and it felt weeeeiiiird. Then I thought, “Hey, it’s not like it changes who I am, I’m still the fun loving autistic queer anarchist people know me as!”
The only difference between then and now is that I now have more knowledge under my belt and I’m more aware of things going on in the world. And I’m going to keep learning!
As a poet of my generation once said,
“Life is a lesson, you learn it when you’re through!”
I’ll say this about the new Fallout show; it at least has allowed me to identify the absolute nutters in the community and provide a free block list for me. Seriously people, calm the fuck down…y’all are making me dislike New Vegas by association.
Happy Pride to y’all! And to every young person who is experiencing their first instance of “oh fuck I might be queer” and may be panicking over it, I’m gonna say this: don’t fret over it! You have plenty of time to figure things out! Hell, I’m in my 30’s and I’m still figuring out the finer details of my identity (just this year, I learned that while I’m cool with he/him pronouns, I’m REALLY digging He/They).
So, in short don’t worry! Take your time, and enjoy what you enjoy. And if you wanna put a label on it, then go for it!
Remember, Life is a lesson, and you learn it when you’re through.
I’m gonna be honest, if someone uses the term “Marvel Dialogue/Writing” to criticize a game, or complain that something’s “Quippy” when there’s a similar property out there that uses similar dialogue and gets a pass, I’m gonna raise eyebrows and squint at your so-called “critique”.
(Seriously, these two “criticisms” have been feeling more and more dog whistle-y lately)
