I usually lurk and keep to myself, but with this going on, I decided to step out of the shadows and briefly say something.
What can be said about Eucatastrophe? Honestly, despite stating that I wanted to say something, I’m lost for words. That’s how powerful this story is. Out of all the fics I’ve read in my time, Eucatastrophe by far is THE ONE that changed my brain chemistry. I remember, when it was first posted, how I read it all in one go for 12 hours straight. No joke. Every twist, every turn, spun around in all directions, I can’t recall ever being on such a journey. I laughed, I cried, I shrieked, I cried some more, I cheered, and I cried even more still. Even just the moment it started transmogrifying from Celtic folklore to Lovecraftian horror had me nearly having a conniption. /pos And I was devastated when I reached the end, but only for a moment, because then I remembered that I could re-read it again whenever I so desired, and experience the journey all over again.
In truth, anything else I want to say about Eucatastrophe, I can’t. There’s both too much and not enough that I can say about it. If I absolutely had to pick one word to describe it, there’s already one such perfect descriptor.
It’s ineffable.

Additionally, Remus has been in very few actual episodes; and in them, he's the antagonist. It's hard to add emotional depth to a comical villain in 2 episodes.
Tbh i think the reason some Remus angst doesn’t stick right with me is the fact they sometimes make Remus act out of character. But we all really want Remus to have some emotional depth to him so what lol?. I think the reality we have to face is the fact that…Remus doesn’t have emotional depth ha. I think “accepting Remus” would be Thomas just having to accept Remus is here to stay and there’s just…nothing he can do lol.

My family is still staying in half of the church that wasn’t affected by the bombing because there is nowhere else to stay other than tents. They are limited to one small meal a day and one shower a week. They are sleeping on the floors, but no one can sleep since there is bombing everywhere around them. Even when there is no bombing, they can still hear the loud buzzing sound of the military planes above them, which would keep anyone who hears it awake. Along with everything, My grandma has diabetes and osteoporosis, so she can’t walk. I can't imagine how irreparably shattered Roman's trust must be right now, even without the whole "evil twin" comment:
Because really, who on earth could be possibly think to rely on anymore, after it's been made clear that nearly everyone either openly dislikes him or pretends they don't just to use him?
Roman expressed that he didn't like it when people said things about him when he wasn't there, and Logan all but confirmed that he very much does or would do that.
This very well could just be Logan taking a phrase literally again, but it sounds like he's also stating that there are things he wants to say about Roman that he doesn't want him hearing, and considering their differences I doubt he'd say anything good.
Patton has been Roman's biggest cheerleader since day one, always backing him up and supporting him even when it seemed noone else would, which I'm sure he appreciated.
However, the moment he didn't follow Patton's ideals he was immediately scolded, even when he was just doing his job by focusing on Thomas's dreams.
Janus was probably the worst of them, though. He showered roman with praise and compliments at a point where he no doubt desperately needed them, what with his popularity swiftly plummeting.
Then, much like Patton did, he immediately rejected Roman the second he didn't give him what he wanted.
At this point, I don't think he can believe anything anyone tells him anymore, especially not if it's what he needs to hear...

let’s go into detail about what’s going on with thomas sanders and brei grace, because i refuse to let him and the community sweep this under the rug:
thomas severely underpaid brei grace for her work on roleslaying with roman
thomas then laid brei off after creating a work environment that was bad enough to make her not want to return
thomas made a post “announcing” that rswr would be on “an indefinite hiatus”. but it was only available on his patreon (im not a patron so i can’t link the post or show a screenshot, but if i find a screenshot i will edit it into this post)
to amend the above point: i had seen many people saying there was a patreon post that touched on the subject of brei being laid off and rswr taking a hiatus, but in actuality, according to a patron, thomas mentioned the matter in a patreon livestream, not a full blown post. i apologize for the misinformation
just days later, thomas makes a tweet about his merch sale, and most (if not ALL) his current merch was designed by brei, who will not see a penny in royalties, and this is apparently a regular thing with thomas
finally, an entire week after the patreon “announcement” and brei being laid off, thomas says this on the youtube community page (among other things, but this is what im focusing on):

i want to point out the phrase “brei is currently not part of our team” and how thomas fails to acknowledge that HE is responsible for that. HE laid her off. and like a cowardly snake, he’s hiding behind vague corporate speak because he doesn’t want to admit the truth
unfortunately for him, the truth is out there
i know i sound really serious and dramatic and yall are probably not even taking me seriously and you have your pitchforks at the ready, but guess what? i couldn’t care less. i mean this IS serious, which is why im taking it seriously. but at the end of the day im just informing the community of what i know. what you do with that information is up to you
im not “cancelling” thomas, or trying to start a witch hunt, im just so sick of everyone pretending thomas is a perfect harmless little angel who can do no wrong. cos guess what? he HAS done wrong. he’s done wrong by brei. but everyone is so busy sucking up to him that they don’t seem to care that brei is suffering because of him
and this isn’t the first time he’s done wrong by an artist, either (let’s never forget the mad libs incident)
to summarize: thomas doesn’t make it a habit of properly compensating the artists he hires, he makes their experiences a living hell, and then he lies through his teeth about it
like i said, do with this information what you will, but i don’t know how thomas sleeps at night

Well, that's a binary way to view things. I present the nuanced approach that is: "Logan believes that he is not meant for emotions as he is logic, which to an extant, means he is unlovable. What he does not know, however, is that this belief is rooted in the fact that he does not love himself."
something i think about often, is that i don't think logan, in the series, recognizes that he doesn't love himself. and i can't imagine how awful the scenario would be when he does.
