some meri headcanons cuz i luv her

- she is a book girl. probably gets through a couple books in a day. i think she would like sylvia plath or anythin by the brontë sisters

- likes poetry too

- Kinda obvious but she loves plants and nature and she makes an effort that all the plants in her cell r watered and healthy everyday. very heavy set on the idea of keeping the planet & environment safe

- rly good at archery and practices in her free time

- wouldn’t hurt a fly but could kick the shit out of someone with her deer legs if she wanted to

- wears light or dark academia style .. long skirts, collared shirts u name it

- soft spoken and shy at first but if she is comfortable around you she will yap (just like me fr)

- bffs with Iris/SCP-105….. maybe more….. she is confused about how she feels about her and gets the good old Religious Guilt when she feels romantic feelings for her

- she has a very calming presence like u could fall asleep listening to her voice

- likes herbal or ginger tea

- tall as hell. 6 foot or more probably bc why wouldn’t she be she is bloody half deer!

- all animals love her she is like snow white

- keeps the letter clef sent her beside her bed and she constantly rereads it either trying to figure it out oooorrr for some comfort knowing he loves her (even though she’s never met him

- if she sees someone in trouble or pain she isn’t the type to stand around and wait for someone else to help she Will make sure ur ok whether u like it or not

- bonus: ani (my oc) likes to braid her hair and put flowers in it bc she likes to play with peoples hair like the touchy ipad child she is

gonna yap about meri for a second. i love her sm and i wish there was more tales about her as a character. i feel like she would feel very out of place and confused about her life, and at the end of day all she wants is answers. all she got was a letter from her father whom she never met and probably won’t because the foundation won’t let her. she knows her mother is dead and she never really got an explanation for that either. i’d imagine she constantly feels lost because of this - she’s been put in a situation she has no control over and can only dream about having a normal life.

i headcanon she would paint or write about what it would be like if she had a normal life. maybe she’d like to live in a cottage in the woods far away from the foundation with iris

maybe her father would be there too?

but she doesn’t know how she feels about him. on one hand, he killed her mother and left her. on the other, he still cared enough to send her a letter and tell her happy birthday. sometimes she imagines him as the devil incarnate, the man who ruined everything. other times she imagines him as just a man who wants to protect her. he did leave her in the safety of the covenant, after all. he could have killed her just like her mother or left her in worse hands. but he didn’t

but that’s all just speculation for her. i’d like to think she spends a lot of time daydreaming about this, or praying for someone to answer her questions
