I decided to finish a sketch I made a couple months ago redrawing a screencap - this is one of my favorite shots from Castle in the Sky, as the colors, composition, and Pazu's expression work really well together to create a really beautiful work. I wanted to see what I could do with it, and screencap redraws are a good exercise to analyze and get a better understanding of a shot (plus they're really fun and always turn out really cool). I think in the original scene they were heading east, not west, but uhhhh whatever Redraw of this shot from the film Castle in the Sky. Hey does anyone remember my Figure skater Iwa/Yuri on Ice crossover AU;;;; 

Figure skater Iwa was one of my favourite AUs back then when I just started out on Instagram and tumblr because I loved the idea of the elegance of figure skating with the brashness of Iwa's personality ahhhh

Also Iwa pulling a reverso-uno on Tooru is my forever mood

I actually have 2 AUs where Iwa is a figure skater hhh, one is a direct crossover with Yuri on Ice and the second was similar, but Tooru was a hockey player instead ahhhhhhhh - These are screencap redraws!!! Hdjsjd I played around with colours here ahhhhh since these are much cooler toned compared to my usual style
