currently deciding if buying the Season 15 DVD set is worth it for the Behind the Sofa bits with Matthew Waterhouse and Katy Manning, two of my favorite Classic Who actors. It is $100, so this may be unwise. but the fixation yearns. it yearnssss

I watch Supernatural with my mom, and since we both been busy, we can’t watch it together. (We ain’t watching the rest of the last season without the other, either.)
But, I have been spoiled.
Now, I whine and whimper when I see “Destiel”
And I haven't even seen it yet.
Supernatural had the opportunity to do something great. To send a message of love and validation to a whole community. Not only to the part of the community that liked their show, but to all of us. But instead they decided to pander to the people, who never had to question their representation.
I support #TheySilencedYou, #TheySilencedThem and #TheyWillNeverSilenceUs and I'm in awe of all of you. And I feel like your message goes beyond this particular TV show and the CW.
It's about protesting a pattern of disrespect towards otherness in Mainstream Media. It's about demanding meaningful, unmistakably queer representation, that enables discourse and furthers understanding in a heterogenic Audience. It's about asking Networks to not only hire diverse staff but to also give them the freedom to tell their stories the way they want to. It's about telling creators to own up to the inherent messages they leave us with in the end.
And that's inspiring and should be celebrated.
Stories matter.
***SPOILERS MENTIONED*** I found a odd parallel between Dean losing Cass and Chuck losing everything. At the end of 15x18 Dean is sitting there SOBBING! Not single man tear but sobbing because he lost everything when Cass was taken. In 15x19 when the boys drive off and leave Chuck alone and powerless he sobs…the show purposefully made sure we heard Chuck sobbing…several seconds of it. And it sounded alot like Dean's breathless sob. Because just like Dean, Chuck had nothing left…that was how much losing Cass affected Dean....Like a God losing it all. Talk about a profound bound.
I’m finally caught up on Season 15 and I’m not prepared for the finale 😭😭😭
I just finished season 14 of Supernatural so I was sad that I had to wait a long time to watch season 15. But then I looked online to see if there was a place that I could watch it and I found out that I CAN BUY IT ON AMAZON VIDEO! So, yeah. I can now watch season 15 of Supernatural.
Just heard the news.
I only discovered Supernatural last spring(18), and I can’t believe, I don’t get more time with this incredible show and its characters, although of course it will never dissapear (and neither will all the amzing metas and fanfics that people make!).
It has taken over my life and I love every little bit of it. Legit sad, but grateful that it crawled into my life, better late than never ❤️
So I’m updating every background picture on every social media platform and electronic device I have.

15x04 Episode Review - What a Meta Rollercoaster THAT was!
Jensen Ackles directed this. Let that sink in before you read on. Because this means EVERYTHING.
Davy Perez said on Twitter that he had a lot of help with this episode from Bobo, Dabb, Meredith, Even from Jensen and Rob. Which seems pretty clear from me as I was blown away by what I consider a meta masterpiece.
There is a lot to unpack here so let me just jump straight in with my favourite part:
THE REDEEMED FANGIRL AND THE BRONLY GOD
In an episode directed by Jensen Ackles it both astonishes me and pleases me immensely that the strongest and most interesting plot didn’t involve the brothers. Every single scene with Becky and Chuck was a galaxy brain of meta and my head is still buzzing about it.

Can we just all stop for a moment and let it sink in that 15x08′s plot was basically how a broken up Dean and Cas go to the place they first met for relationship counselling with new Queen Rowena, and following her advice, decide to recapture the magic by travelling back to the place they first realised they loved each other.
*faints*

Dean was entrusted (by John) of taking care of Sam as if he was his parent Cas was entrusted (by Kelly) of taking care of Jack as if he was his parent
To Dean, Sam was his biggest responsibility
To Cas, Jack was his biggest responsibility
Dean felt like he failed John by letting Sam die Cas felt like he failed Kelly by letting Jack die

Not saying this is the best way to make Destiel canon.

Seriously. Last season, and they still pull this crap, and I am forced to ask, yet again; ‘Where the hell is Cas?’
It was a really sweet and funny episode, but leaving Cas out for whole episodes, especially ones that contains so many nice family moments is not only ridiculous, it’s rude.
Not even a mention? Not even a phonecall, Cas being on ‘zoom’ on the last scene with Jack’s birthday? (Could have been funny).. I mean, Castiel is a part of that family, and he is more Jack’s dad than Sam and Dean (although close). Leaving him out of these scenes, without as much as a mentioning, is intentional and mean.
