Greetings, Champions. I bring you pain in the form of an idea I had about Sindragosa.
Sindra d1ed on impact after Neltharion's attack towards the Blue Dragonflight. She was thrown all the way to Northrend, after all.
When she was raised, she managed to break free of Frostmourne's control for a bit. All she knew was that Malygos hadn't come for her. She didn't know he was insane. She didn't know he was actually a giant spider. All she knew was that he didn't rescue her. She didn't even know how long it had been. She let herself fall back under Arthas' control because she simply didn't care. If her own mate wouldn't save her (because he couldn't, but she didn't know that), nobody would.
Sapphiron broke free for about six hours before Arthas finally told him everything that happened. Arthas monologued about every awful thing that had happened to the Blue Dragonflight for less than 10 minutes before Saph gave up hope, because your Flight can't save you if you don't have a Flight.
I just had the idea that Sindragosa in WOTLK doesn't know Malygos was insane. She had no idea that he literally could not come and save her.
Meaning that Sindra in Dragonflight, getting her information from Kalecgos, WOULD know that Malygos was insane instead of thinking he just didn't care about her.
Nah, Mal was bi and Sindra was pan. Either that or they were the weird lesbian and gay guy who everyone thought were dating so they became each other's beards.
Found the straight couple.
Love the representation in this expansion. Now the homophobes can’t complain that everyone is gay. Everyone is represented! And in my opinion, which doesn’t mean much because I’m straight myself, very well!
Not gonna lie though, love all the love in this expansion. So much…emotion. Not just romantic love; familial love, found family, self love, it’s all here. God the entire questline with the Tuskaar and Kalecgos? Holy shit I almost started crying. Like the dude doesn’t know what non-violent death is like. That’s all he knows. And he’s watching these people celebrating the life of their beloved chieftan, wondering how on earth? God it was incredible. Just a beautiful questline.
