The creak of a door. The shadow of a tree. The whisper of the night. Some of you laugh. Some of you gasp. Who is whispering in the night? Is that shadow really of a tree? And the door, are you really alone? You may be frightened now. Or you may be curious. Whatever it is, you are eager to know its ending, perhaps you are itching to tell a tale. So I ask you, is it a spooky tale or a merely spoopy one? And what surprises do you have in store for us all?

This is a collab open for all kpop groups with the theme being anything supernatural/paranormal/fantasy! From vampires to zombies, to fallen angels and mermaids, you can let your imagination wander into new and exciting places for this collab!

Collab Sign-up Deadline: September 15th 2022 Withdrawal Deadline: October 15th 2022 Posting Period: October 24th-October 31st 2022 (might be extended to November 14th 2022) Masterlist Reveal*: November 1st 2022
*The masterlist will include the writersβ blog, groups & respective members, title, genres, tropes, wordcount & warnings of each piece, as well as a link to the fic. The fic will also be reblogged to The Writing Nook blog throughout the month of November.
β Rules
This collab works on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This is an sfw collab so no smut will be allowed. Suggestive is fine.
Minimum wc is 500 words. Thereβs no max wc, you can write to your heartβs desire.
Only drabbles & oneshots are accepted. Any other fics wonβt be accepted.
Each member of each group will have one (1) initial slot with the possibility of expanding to two (2). This will only happen if all members of the same group already have their first slots taken. This is to ensure all members within the same group have, at least, one story.
If you are already writing a fic for another collab with a similar theme as this one, you can join using that fic as long as your selected member isnβt taken already.
You can find a list of acceptable AUs for this collab here. You can combine more than one AU in your fic. If youβre unsure about a certain AU not included in the list, feel free to reach out and ask!
The only pairings allowed are member x reader or member x oc. The reader can be any gender you prefer.
One writer can join more than one slot (max 2) if that is their wish.
The fic must include above the read more: title, pairing, genre(s), trope(s), au(s), word count, warning(s), synopsis & a link to this post (you'll be asked to change it to the master list of the event once the master list is posted). You can include a banner/mood board if you wish to. Everything else should be below the read more.
Youβll be required to join The Writing Nook discord server to participate in this collab. You can find more about it here. You can leave the server after the collab is over if that is your wish.
Be respectful and mindful of others. This collab as well as The Writing Nook aim to be a safe place for all.
Any fics that are plagiarised/reposted will result in your exclusion from the server with no possibility of return. Please, give credit where credit is due.
