Venus has had a total of three lightsticks during their career. Called the "VENIGHT" by fans, the first version of the lightstick debuted just three months after Venus did in 2018, selling out across multiple online stores and in physical stores alike.

Making it's desbut shortly after the girls did, the VENIGHT was a devisive point amongst fans. While many enjoyed the simplistic V in a circle design, many found it too simple and resembling that of a lollipop, calling it tacky and unoriginal. Though, this version of the lightstick is the favorite of Bliss and Jiah as they can still be seen waving theirs around at concerts.

After the removal of Nakyung and addition of Sena in 2020, the VENIGHT 2.0 was quickly announced as damage control. Despite many constellions not appericating this move were quickly soothed when the promotional pictures for the lightsticks were released. Not only did this release have a full photoshoot with the members for promotion but also a promotional video that resembled one coming from Vogue instead of a barely off the ground Kpop company. The thought and effort behind the design was a step up from the original, the neon lights that formed the V inside the dome caused purple and red refractions on the insiade, resembling a galaxy inside the dome. After selling 350,000 units in the first day, VENIGHT 2.0 went on to be the highest selling lightstick in Angelico history after selling 1,214,934 units after the first week. The lightstick is Yoonah, Chloe, and Sena's favorite version as they are still seen with them at concerts.

After being bought out by Flowerbank in 2022, the VENIGHT would go through yet another rebrand out of necessity. Taking on a more sleek and stylish look, the VENIGHT 3.0 and her purple, orange, and red light color scheme would catch the eyes of many. The V desigin was new and reinvented, many fans saying it resembled something Marvel would create while still looking pretty. Despite fans loving the lightstick, it was clear the girls weren't happy with the change as they are never seen with this version.

After their notable absence from the MAMA awards, VENUS graced the 2023 Melon Music Awards with their presence and too much fanfare. Stepping onto the red carpet in Versace with all their dresses being from the vault. Constellations were happy to see the girls in matching attire for the first time in what felt like forever at an award show, as usually Baebi would be styled to stand out amongst her members whilst under Angelico. Gold Versace necklaces and earrings accentuated their looks, giving them an elegant and high-fashion appearance.

VENUS' seven-minute stage was described as "a concert-like experience," with the girls often interacting with the crowd during their performances. It was also noted that the girls sang 100% live with little backing vocals, making the award show feel even more like their show. Though there weren't many crowd shots during the broadcast, through fan cams of other groups, it was clear to see other idols enjoyed their performance as much as the girls enjoyed performing.

Starting off the performance was a solo performance by Baebi. Originally starting with the instrumental of "Baebi's Revenge" and her silhouette illuminated by a bright blue screen behind her, the music quickly glitches out along with the screen behind her, leaving the arena in complete darkness and silence. Then, the stage lights up again, this time a mixture of bright colors illuminating a smiling Baebi. "Are you ready, MMA?" Baebi shouted into her microphone. The crowd erupted into cheers as the instrumental of her hit single "Bubble Pop!" began to play.

During the performance, Baebi adlibbed a lot, her favorite phrase being "Let me hear you, MMA!" as well as egging the crowd on to dance and sing with her. The performance was high energy and a fun experience for Baebi and the audience.

After a dance break, the stage goes black once again with a slowed-down instrumental of their newest single, "DRAMA," beginning to play as they presumedly get the stage ready for the song. With a flash of light, Chloe, Jiah, Bliss, and Sena are on stage in suits while Baebi is presumedly off stage getting into costume.

They do a short dance number as four, and their backup dancers have microphones and flashing cameras as props. Chloe is the center of this dance break, giving a confident performance that distracts the audience from Baebi sneaking back on stage in a matching suit, joining just in time for a feedback sound to play through the arena. Chloe looks around with a cocky smirk on her lips before shouting: "Make some noise, MMA!"

The performance starts at the chorus, with each girl giving a strong and exhilarating performance. Though, the performance of DRAMA doesn't last long. After Sena counts down from 3, the beat changes into one no one has heard before. Bliss, slightly out of breath, struts down the stage with conviction, undoing the belt around her waist to reveal a sparkly silver two-piece outfit, the other girls joining her and following her actions and revealing their silver outfits as well.

"I hope y'all don't mind...We wanted to play a new song for y'all," Bliss attests to the crowd, smiling excitedly as she looks to her side at Jiah who lifts up her handheld microphone.

"We just wanted to remind everybody..." Jiah smirked as the five of them stood center stage in their usual V formation. When Jiah looks at Sena, the youngest smiles brightly at her before turning towards the crowd.

"I am the best," Sena sings, ushering in a new beat. Each girl sings the line before the beat drop hits, and the girls begin their performance. They revealed their second pre-release single, I AM THE BEST at MMA, releasing the song on streaming platforms as well as releasing the music video. The song was a massive hit because of the MMA performance, which was just as high-energy and confident as the rest of the performance.

VENUS' stage was praised for its energy and unwavering stage presence. Netizens said they made the MMA's "The VENUS Show," and they weren't mad about it. Twitter was flooded with videos and screenshots of the girls during their performance, many calling it the highlight of the night.

it was the first award show venus had attended in a LONG time so they were a bit rusty on how to act jfsdnfjsd

on the red carpet, bliss had to direct everyone on where to stand and how to pose even adjusting chloe's position at on point to "better the shot" which had all the girls laughing instead of posing.

opposed to previous award shows in the past, the girls looked actually happy to be at the MMA's. jiah would go on to like a tweet saying "they're smiling because they're not at angelico." with a picture of the girls smiling and laughing in their seats.

they were sat next to shinee which was a big moment for all of them seeing all of venus are massive showls. in their Instagram posts after the show, all the girls would post selfies they took with the shinee members.

despite winning a lot of awards that night, the girls only got emotional when accepting record of the year and artist of the year. chloe and baebi getting the most emotional for obvious reasons. it was a crazy year for them.

jiah's acceptance speech went viral because of her crying in the midst of it. "i want to thank-ah!" she'd start before being overcome with emotions, slapping her hand over her mouth and turning away to begin crying. bliss and sena could be seen laughing at her as they rubbed her back. it's now used as a reaction meme between constellations.

when chloe won the songwriter award, she was gagged. truly, no other word for it. when the camera went to her, her jaw was on the floor while the other venus girls were jumping and cheering around her. after a minute, she snapped out of it and did a full 90 degree bow when she stood up.

"i never thought i would be recognized for my songwriting...i didn't even write a speech for this because i thought it was too crazy for me to win this award. i seriously can't believe it. i think i'm going to throw up when i get off stage," chloe would go onto say in her acceptance speech before laughing. when the camera went back to the crowd, baebi was recording on her phone like a mom while laughing and crying for her friend.

the girls went crazy for every performance, seriously, they were having SO much fun! even with songs they didn't know, they were going crazy. they went the craziest for shinee, riize, ive, and kiss of life!

"i really can't believe i got to see shinee at an award show in 2023...isn't that crazy? i thought it was crazy. i couldn't believe they were real," bliss would go onto say during a live she did once she got home, taking her makeup off.

the girls all did lives when they got home to talk about their night and it had constellations in a frenzy because everyone was conflicted on who's live to watch dskjfnskfd their views kept fluxating because constellations were bouncing between girls.

JUNG YOONAH, famously known as BAEBI, has been described as "a real life siren" with her seducing sharp eyes and plump pink lips; she's often described as "doll-like" and "unreal" looking. Her beauty has been the source of admiration and envy for many fans, and her influence in the K-pop industry is undeniable.  Her popularity has also made her a sought-after model and brand ambassador for many brands and fashion houses. She is considered to be one of the most recognizable faces in the K-pop industry.

CHLOE LEE, professionally known as CHLOE, labeled as "Korea's Pretty Face" since she stepped on the scene, is said to be one of the most memorable faces in K-pop. Originally gagging audiences in 2016 when she appeared on the survival show Produce 101 with her big brown eyes and infectious smile, Chloe would go on to be one of the most talked about idols in the modern day. Being described as "innocent yet mature" looking, Chloe has a versatile look that matches her equally dynamic personality.

Venus Victrix is the third full album of the fictional South Korean girl group VENUS. The album was released by Flowerbank Entertainment on December 18th, 2023. Before the release of the highly anticipated album, the girls released two pre-release singles, "DRAMA" and "I AM THE BEST," both getting two weeks of promotions and being met with widespread praise. With a total of twelve songs, VENUS would promote "THE BOYS", "UNTIE", and "BYOB (bring your own bestie)" for three months.

Venus Victrix has a total of 12 tracks, with all the girls having writing credits on every song. The tracklist is nearly entirely produced by other people as Venus decided to take a step back from producing for the time being, with the exception of "Making The Bed," which is written, composed, and produced by Chloe.

Long-time creative director Adrian Reyes produced a majority of the album alongside Ideal Music producer CLOSURE AKA Zion of Arm Candy, THATZTY AKA Tyler of Sunlite, Piper of SNS, Yuki of SNS, LULU formerly of ALLUME, SOOORA AKA Sora formerly of ALLUME, TSUISON AKA Noah of DeepDive, DOWN2LEE AKA Finn of DeepDive, and most notably Lee Chang.

The girls were given the honor of picking a song from the Flowerbank Vault, choosing "I Love You" out of the 50 songs within the Flowerbank Vault. All money earned from the song will go to his mother.

Venus Victrix, received an impressive number of pre-orders, indicating its widespread appeal. Within just six days of the pre-order period starting, the album had received over 800,000 pre-orders, and by December 12th, the number of pre-orders had reached one million. Out of these one million pre-orders, 670,000 came from Korea, while 340,000 were from the US and Europe. Moreover, a limited edition vinyl of only 18,888 copies had sold out within days, further highlighting the album's popularity. As per the latest reports, the album had accumulated 1.2 million physical sales worldwide by January 12th.

The album debuted at the top spot of the Gaon Album Chart and broke the record for first-week sales on Hanteo among girl groups. It sold an impressive 590,000 copies in just one day after its physical release date. Gaon Chart would go on to announce that Venus' album received an official million certification after selling over a million copies in South Korea on January 22nd.

Undoubtedly, their highest performing album yet, VENUS, would be virtually unavoidable for the three months they were promoting, whether it be their songs being played on the radio or their faces on billboards; Venus was everywhere. Citizens would dub this era "The Venus Virus" as it seemed everyone and their mothers were listening or talking about the group during this time.

Venus was gaining popularity not only in South Korea but also worldwide. Venus Victrix made its debut at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, with a total of 110,000 album-equivalent units. This includes 81,000 pure album sales, 26,000 stream-equivalent sales, and 2,000 track-equivalent sales.

Pitchfork would go on to rank the album 8.1 out of 10, making it the second highest-rated album on the site. "Venus not only pushes the boundaries of K-pop with their stellar vocal performances but also elevates the genre with 'Venus Victrix.' The album's catchy hooks and dance-worthy tracks are complemented by lyrics that delve into deeper themes, making it a standout release in the world of pop music."

Multiple Youtubers would go on to review/react to Venus Victrix. Music reviewer Anthony Fantano would be the first to review the album, giving it a 7.8 overall.

"While 'Venus Victrix' has its merits, I can't help but feel there's a missed opportunity here. The vocals and lyricism are commendable, but the overall sound lacks a certain adventurous quality. It's a solid 7.8, but I expected a bit more risk-taking from Venus."

Twitter's favorite reactionary Zach Campbell would go onto react to "The Boys" music video, heavily praising the girls and the song for it's energy and visuals. Unlike Fantano, Campbell would go on to become a darling amongst Constellations.

"This music video is like a visual feast. [...] Venus is playing in a league of their own!"

Most notably, AJay Delux would post her video "Venus Victrix - First Listen." just two weeks after the album dropped. Her review of the album was very positive, praising the girls for their vocal talent and versatility. Sena and Jiah would go on to post the video on their stories, thanking her for her review and mentioning how much they love her videos. AJay would go on to rate the album a 8 out of 10.

"Alright, that was a wild ride through Venus's 'Venus Victrix.' The vocals and lyricism held it together, and the diversity in sounds across the tracks kept it interesting. I'm giving this a solid 8 out of 10. Venus delivered the fun pop with meaningful lyrics they promised."

OO1. LOTS of interactions with other idols, especially for TikTok! Venus tends to stay in their bubble most of the time, but this time around, they really put themselves out there! Even bliss was socializing more, which is something constellations haven't seen since FOREVER. They mainly did the "BYOB" challenge with other idols, but for a few (mainly girl idols, lol!), they did the "UNTIE" challenge, which constellations ate up!

OO2. The long promotional schedule seemed to confuse a lot of fans with how fast-paced the industry seems to be nowadays. "I felt like we missed out on an opportunity with Burn The Witch by only promoting it for such a short period of time," Creative director Adrian Reyes would go on to explain at a press conference, "Things move too fast, and I want to change that. Venus is supposed to not be like other groups, which is why we went with what I feel is a proper promotional schedule. If it was full up to me, I'd promote this album all year." And while a majority of the internet knew what he was getting at, disgruntled K-pop stans on Twitter took this as an opportunity to frame Venus as "Pick Me's" and "Not Like Other Girls," which caused a multitude of fan wars on the site. None of the girls use the app, so they didn't see or care.

OO3. For the three-month promotional period, they will promote a different song and b-side for that month. For Dec-Jan, they promoted "The Boys"; for Jan-Feb, they promoted "BYOB" and concluded promotions with "Untie" in March. This gave fans an insane amount of content to be and look forward to, making sure none of their fans were bored. Even then, they still caused problems on every social media site they could.

OO4. Through their reality-styled web series, "VenusVentures," they would give their fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of Venus Victrix. However, the chaos backstage would turn out to be more entertaining than anyone expected. From funny bloopers during dance rehearsals to unexpected moments during the photoshoots, the web series was a hit, with many of the clips taken from the show going viral.

One of the more notable clips to go viral was a clip of Baebi and Chloe arguing over what they're going to have for dinner after they finished filming.

"I want a fruit bowl," Baebi would snap at Chloe over her shoulder, who would huff and flip her hair over her shoulder, looking annoyed as usual.

"I want Thai food. You always want nasty fru-"

"And action!" The director would shout, cutting the girls' fight off. Both of the girl's expressions would change in a split second, their annoyed ones being wiped away and replaced with fierce and confident ones, and the intro to The Boys would play. The clip, while not only hilarious, showed off the girl's professionalism and dedication to their craft.

OO5. Though there were A LOT of fan events organized by Flowerbank, one of the most notable ones would have to be the art gallery they put on. Venus invited Constellations to submit their fan art to Flowerbank to be displayed in a "Venus Gallery" as well as hold an art competition where the winners would receive not only VIP tickets to their upcoming tour but also to have their art incorporated into Venus' official merch, and also $10,000. The members of Venus personally selected the three winners. The event became one of the most special and heart-warming events between constellations and Venus, causing much buzz and conversations around all corners of the internet.

OO6. Though the girls are known for their versatile concepts, the music video for "Through Your Window" surprised many fans with its controversial yandere concept, which was a bit surprising due to the song's light and almost mystical sound. The visuals, though beautiful, depict the girls stalking their love interests and presumed murdering him after they see him talking to another girl. "We could've gotten Venus as fairies, but instead, we got them killing men," one fan would tweet, though another fan would quote the tweet in defense of the video, saying: "I would actually like to see Venus kill more men idk why yall are complaining," causing an internal fan war. Though the video's concept was questioned, the girls acting and visuals were highly praised, and a selfie of Bliss with blood splattered on her face soon joined the "the most annoying mfs have this picture as their icon" list.

OO7. Of course, it's not a Venus comeback without some drama. Chloe's iCloud would be hacked, leaking multiple pictures of her with a lesser-known actor, Jeon Juyeon. What really caused controversy around this was not the fact the pair might be dating but that Juyeon was Chloe's long-running fansite "CozyChloe," having over 50k followers on his fansite Instagram account. This blew up the internet essentially, causing just a shitstorm for literally everyone. The rumors only got worse when Juyeon went on to deactivate CozyChloe and private his personal account. Chloe would catch a lot of heat for this, a lot of people saying she's abusing her power as an idol and taking advantage of her fans. Though their relationship was never confirmed, Chloe would go live on the official Venus account, issuing an apology in front of the infamous "apology wall" at Flowerbank Entertainment.

OO8. More importantly, they'd collaborate with Tate McRae! Venus would release an English version of Untie with Tate on it, even performing the version with the pop star a few times. Most notably, they'd perform with Tate on the show with her acting as a six-member, causing a lot of jokes and memes between the two fandoms. While Tate was in Korea, Venus would make her an honorary sixth member, letting her stay in the dorm and taking her to their favorite restaurant. While the collaboration was a bit sudden and off guard, many people found the girl's bond cute and wholesome. The vlogs, including Tate, would go on to reach a collective 12 million views.

OO9. The outfits for Untie would come under fire by religious organizations, saying the outfits were too promiscuous and revealing for television. At first, the girls would ignore the accusations, but once the internet caught hold of them, it blew up and was impossible for them to ignore. "While I don't agree with them, I do understand why old people would think a strappy tank top is promiscuous," Sena would go on to say when asked about the controversy, "I think it's important as artists that we're allowed to express ourselves even if that means showing our shoulders. So, I guess don't watch it if you don't like it. It seems kind of easy. We're adults. I thought we knew that." And she'd give a cute smile and a fingerheart, causing the audience to laugh.

O10. Towards the end of their promotions, VENUS would announce their third world tour! In April, the girls will travel to 22 countries, performing 66 shows all around the world. This will be their most extensive tour yet. The tour was announced via a promotional video posted to their YouTube channel. The video was set in a cyberpunk setting, with the girls dressed in sleek and futuristic outfits while walking through a city, being the only ones in black while the citizens are dressed in white. "Do you feel different?" The girls would ask in various languages, such as Korean, English, Thai, Mandarin, Japanese, and Vietnamese. The video ends with all five of Venus in front of a massive screen that is surrounded by little screens. The screens glitch for a moment before flashing white, the phrase "(IM)DIFFERENT." appearing on all of them, revealing to be the name of the tour. It's a short video but effective. In the description was a link to VENUS' official website, where tickets will be sold.

THE BOYS' music video received 87 MILLION VIEWS in 24 hours and remained number one on the YouTube trending page for 15 days. The video doesn't seem to have much of a storyline like their other videos have this era. There are few scenes of the girls in the same technicolor cyberspace they were in their previous music videos, but most of the video was comprised of dancing sequences and the girls looking good.

With the typical big brown eyes that seem to be a requirement for being a Venus member, Jiah has a strong nose and full, naturally red lips, leaving her with a distinct and different look. Typically teased for her features, Jiah tends to shy away from taking pictures of herself. Despite her insecurities, Jiah was the first member of Venus to be featured on TC Candler's 100 Most Beautiful Faces list of 2019, ranking 52nd.

KLARA BLIX is the most notable actress in Venus, starring in two films and two dramas since her acting debut in 2018. Her first feature film appearance would be a minor role in the A24 horror movie "Hereditary" as the character Emily Mayter, Peter's love interest.

Klara's role in the movie, though short, was quite impactful. In what is now known as one of her strongest acting moments, Emily is in the car during Charlie's accidental decapitation. She suffers a sharp mental decline due to this traumatic event, leaving town to get treatment for her obvious inability to cope with what she's seen.

Klara would only have 26 minutes of screentime, but according to Forbs, she would give a "charming yet horrifying performance, embodying the loss of innocence in teenage girlhood."

Klara would be the first Venus member to be nominated for an acting award for Best Supporting Actress at The Fangoria Chainsaw Awards and Chicago Film Critics Association Awards.

“I know everything about you.”

“Oh yeah?” 

Juyeon nods like a dumb dog, with wide eyes yet a stoic expression, making Chloe smile brighter at him and tilt her head.

“What’s my favorite color?”

“Purple. Lilac.” He barely even needs a second, causing Chloe to give him an impressed look, nodding. Her eyes scan him slowly as if she’s a snake watching her pray nussle his way through the garden so unaware, so unexpecting.

Chloe hums, inching closer to him. Juyeon’s breath caught slightly at their knees, barely brushing as they sat on her bed. He hopes she doesn’t notice, but she does. Chloe notices everything. She has to. Bad things happen when she doesn’t pay attention. At least that’s what she tells herself, hoping never to repeat her past mistakes.

“What’s my mom’s name?”

“Kimberly. She’s a lawyer. And your dad’s name is Jeff. He’s also a lawyer. He adopted you when you were six.” Chloe is so intrigued by how someone could know so much about a person they never met. Sena is like that with her little celebrity crushes, but Chloe thinks Sena is a loser. She tries not to view Juyeon in such a harsh light, but it’s hard with how he is. He’s a kind loser, though. A kind loser dedicated to her and only her. That makes him different.

Chloe reaches out and puts her hand on his knee. Juyeon blinks down at her hand like he can’t believe she’s really there. Chloe wonders what he’s thinking as he sits in her room in the middle of the night. He looks like a small and fuzzy animal that Chloe can’t think of the name of right now. She bets his heart is beating like crazy, and his mind is racing trying to rationalize how he got here. 

He’ll never conclude because there is no rationale behind it. Nothing Chloe does when it comes to men is rational.

“You’re so special, Juyeon. You make me feel safe,” Chloe tells him in a sickly, sweet voice, smiling at him. Juyeon smiles proudly at her words, looking as if he has gained an ounce of confidence right in front of her. Chloe likes that. She likes that a lot.

“Good,” Juyeon nods. “You deserve to feel safe, Chloe.” 

Those words strike something in her that makes her lips twitch. It’s true; she deserves to feel safe, so why didn’t she get that liberty years ago? Why did she go through what she did? Why can she still feel the crisp air from that night? Why doesn’t she actually feel safe years later and in the privacy of her own home? Chloe has so many questions she can’t answer and knows no one else can either.

The only person who could give her maybe some closer is dead. A pile of ash remains in the dirt. It’s not like Hyojin would’ve given her the relief of a reason anyway. He wanted Chloe to suffer for as long as she could, and she has.

Chloe inhales deeply through her nose, trying to get out of her head as she looks at Juyeon, who stares at her with nothing but awe and admiration. Chloe tilts her head, reaching out and touching his cheek. He gives that same look of shock as he did when she put her hand on his knee just a moment ago, making her chuckle quietly like she’s endeared.

“Juyeon,” Chloe sings playfully as she leans in closer to him, “Have you ever been touched like this before?”

He’s a grown man, but Chloe isn’t naive. He’s been her fansite for three years. She can’t imagine many women throwing themselves at him, even with his cute exterior. Juyeon is awkward and at times off-putting, but not to Chloe—No, to Chloe, it’s endearing because he only wants her. No one else could want Juyeon because he only wants her. That’s what made him special. That’s what made him safe.

Juyeon shakes his head with a sheepish laugh.

“N-No. I study a lot, and when I don’t study, I…” He motions towards her, tilting his head slightly to lean into her palm, obviously liking the touch. “I’m taking pictures of you…I don’t really talk to girls like this.”

Chloe rubs her lips together, smiling.

“Why not?”

“Hm?” Juyeon raises his brows. Chloe hums. She wants to hear him say it.

“Why don’t you talk to girls? You’re a really handsome guy, Juyeon. Girls probably throw themselves at you.”

Juyeon genuinely laughs at that, shaking his head.

“Oh no. No…Not me. They don’t–Girls don’t notice me.” Chloe pouts almost mockingly at Juyeon’s confession, clicking her tongue with a pitiful ‘aw’ as she drops his hand from his cheek. For a moment, he looks disappointed until Chloe climbs in his lap, a surprised expression taking over his face, and her hands find purchase on his shoulders.

“Why don’t girls notice you, Juyeon?” Chloe asks with a voice feigning pity as she situates herself in his lap. Her smile slowly turns into a smirk the more she watches his face. She can see his Adam’s apple bob as he swallows audibly when their hips touch, keeping his eyes locked with hers. 

He doesn’t know what to do with his hands, leaving them hovering awkwardly over her hips like he’s not allowed to touch her. Chloe likes that. She likes touching him without asking, but he wouldn’t dare do the same to her. Chloe likes being in control.

Juyeon shrugs his shoulders, causing Chloe’s hands to slide to the side of his neck. She can feel his pulse racing beneath her fingers. It makes her nearly giddy that she is right about that. 

“I…I don’t know.”

“Do you want them to notice you?” Chloe asks, voice soft like they’re sharing secrets. She supposes they are. At least, Juyeon is.

“Not really,” Juyeon answers swiftly, almost sounding eager. Chloe hums, taking his face into her hands and running her thumbs across his sharp jawline.

“Tell me why.”

Juyeon blinks up at her, gulping quietly.

“Because…I only…” There’s a long pause, but Chloe waits, knowing she’ll get the answer she wants if she lets him work it out in his head. Juyeon reaches up to where her hands rest on his face, hovering over Chloe’s but not touching her. 

“I only want you.”

It's like a switch was finally flipped in Chloe’s brain. She smiles proudly, nodding at him and leaning forward to press her forehead to his.

“You’re such a good boy, Juyeon.” Chloe kisses his cheek at that, leaving behind a pretty pink lipgloss mark as she does so. Juyeon makes a small sound when she kisses his skin, hands still awkwardly in the air as they ball into fists, unsure how to cope with the emotions inside him. Chloe looks at his hands, taking his wrists into her palms and guiding him to where they should be on her waist. His breathing stops for a second, taking a second before fully holding her in his palms for the first time. Juyeon looks up at her like she’s an unspoken God, his full lips parted like he’s about to say something, but the words just don’t come out. He’s so pathetic, Chloe thinks with a coy smile.

“Jueyon,” Chloe whispers like a soothing siren call, taking his chin between her fingers to keep him looking up at her. “What would you do for me?”

“Anything,” Juyeon answers with an ounce of hesitancy, making Chloe bite her bottom lip with a low hum.  She smiles, her eyes darkening slightly. 

"Anything?" she asks again, her voice warm and inviting. Juyeon nods, his heart pounding in his chest.

  Chloe leans in closer, her breath hot against Juyeon's ear. She whispers a single question, barely audible but laden with promise.

"Want to prove it?” Her words are taunting and even daunting, making Juyeon’s throat tight. He nods regardless, waiting for her word to move. Chloe easily crawls out of his lap, moving swiftly towards her desk. 

She’s had this planned before she invited Juyeon over—the ultimate test of his devotion. It’ll prove not only how loyal he is to her but how far he’ll go for her. Chloe likes pushing people, especially men, even sweet ones like Juyeon. She figures she likes them more when they’re sweet like she’s preparing them for how cruel and harsh the world is, something she wished someone had done to her before she collided with Hyojin.

Often, there are days when Chloe sits in her room and stares at the floor, remembering who she used to be. People talk about the person Chloe once was with sorrow, mourning her despite her still being alive. Chloe was sweet, Chloe was kind, and Chloe had a light inside her that burned brighter than a thousand sunsets, but that Chloe died in a field at the hands of several men who didn’t care how hard she cried and pleaded for them to stop touching her. That Chloe was so decomposed by this point she was not even bones; she was nothing but dust in the dirt, waiting to be blown away by a gust of wind that never came.

Chloe puts out a pink boxcutter to Juyeon, pushing up the blade with her thumb, filling the room with several clicking sounds. She raises her brows at him, smiling warmly at Juyeon’s widened gaze on the blade in her hand.

“I want my name on you.”

Juyeon takes a deep breath through his nose, shaky and uncertain, before his gaze lifts to Chloe’s face. He still looks like a dumb dog to her, eyes wide and full of something Chloe can’t pinpoint, but she thinks it’s fear. It feels like she’s holding her breath in the best way, her head feeling light and her stomach in the tightest knots. She raises her brows at his look, letting out a hum of disappointment that makes Juyeon quickly shake his head before she can even voice any discontentment. 

“Where? Where do you want your name?” His words are choppy, overthinking each one as his eyes dart around before deciding to settle on the carpet where Chloe stood. Chloe smiles, striding towards him, causing Juyeon to lean back slightly to stay out of reach of the blade. Chloe’s dark brown eyes scan Juyeon’s body, taking in his near-perfect posture. Her eyes linger over his chest, puckering her lips as her gaze rakes over his arms like he’s a piece of meat she’s inspecting at the market for dinner. 

Chloe jabs a pink polished nail into his bicep, nodding as an excited smile grows on her lips. Juyeon’s head follows her finger, thick lips curling in, but he says nothing. Slowly, he reaches for the box cutter in Chloe’s hand. Chloe can see his hand shaking as it extends in midair, reaching to meet hers. Her eyes widen in excitement, flicking up to watch his face as he wraps his hand tightly around the tool.

Chloe knows he doesn’t want to do this. She can see it on his face, how his body tensed, and how hesitant he is to roll up his sleeve, but she doesn’t care. 

The first cut is too shallow for Chloe. He barely breaks the skin but still hisses at the sensations. Blood barely beads from the cat's scratch, making Chloe shake her head disapprovingly.

“Don’t be a bitch about it,” Chloe tells him gruffly, grabbing the hair at the crown of Juyeon’s head, shaking him by it as if to physically shake out the worries and doubts filling his head. Juyeon lets out a pathetic sound that Chloe can’t decipher if it’s a moan or not. Either way, she smirks, letting go of his hair to smack the side of his head like she’s hitting a beach ball. “Do it right. I want to see you bleed. That’s the point. You’re supposed to prove how much you like me–”

“I love you,” Juyeon corrects, breathing heavier than Chloe thinks he should, so she smacks the other side of his head, laughing at how he just takes it, moving in every direction Chloe pushes and pulls him. Chloe coos at his whiny words, grabbing him by the hair again and pulling his head back to look up at her as she leans closer to him. He smells like oranges and cedar. It makes Chloe hum, tracing the bridge of his nose with the tip of hers. 

“Then prove it,” She whispers, pulling his head back with a final tug before letting go of him. She stands in front of him with her arms crossed over her chest in refusal to touch him until he gives her what she wants.

Chloe proves to be a bloody name to spell into the skin.

Blood drips and pours from the cuts on Juyeon’s bicep, running down his forearm and tangling in the hair. The arm with her name now forever etched into it twitches and shakes as she runs a wet washrag over the wound. He takes shaky breaths with every swipe, eyes wet and dripping with tears that run down his high cheekbones. Chloe thinks he looks cute like this, a gentle smile on her lips as she tends to his wound. There’s blood on her sheets, but Chloe doesn’t care. There’s a sick sense of pleasure winding inside her at the sight of the crimson staining her once spotless pink sheets. They’re now like her, she thinks, like Juyeon too. Juyeon is forever marked with her, a mark he can never get rid of even if he tries. 

He’s tainted. No one wanted tainted meat.

Chloe leans in to kiss the side of his head, feeling Juyeon lean into her touch almost instantly. He keeps leaning in, ducking his head down to rest on her chest with tightly shut eyes as his not-injured arm wraps around her waist to keep her close. Chloe smiles at that, running a hand through his silky black hair.

“I love you, Juyeon,” Chloe tells him because she knows he wants to hear it. She isn’t sure if she really does love him, more so she’s obsessed with him but not like he is with her. Juyeon moans quietly into her skin at her words, holding her waist tighter before loosening his hold. Chloe looks down at him before turning her head to look at his arm.

He’s still bleeding. Chloe figures it won’t stop until she puts a bandage on it. She stares at the cuts, a dull buzzing taking over her body as she reaches out and swipes her finger across the cuts, pressing down so the skin drags and rips further beneath her touch. Juyeon groans, wincing against her, but doesn’t lift his head, wanting to stay as close to her as possible. Chloe looks at the blood covering the tip of her finger, tilting her head at it like she’s never seen anything like it before. She presses the digit on the pad of her tongue, dragging it down to clean herself of Juyeon’s blood, leaving a streak of red behind. 

Chloe hums at the taste, puckering her lips as she thinks about what to compare him to. He tastes sweet but metallic, reminding her of a not-yet-ripe grapefruit.

“So sweet,” Chloe hums, rubbing Juyeon’s back as a reward. Juyeon lifts his head just a bit to press into her neck, taking a deep breath, causing goosebumps to rise on Chloe’s arms. “You really would do anything for me, wouldn’t you?”

Juyeon only nods, the wetness of his face smudging against the skin of Chloe’s neck. Chloe’s eyes stare ahead of her, smiling as her fingers card through the man’s dark hair, soothing him and her. She pulls back, taking his strong jawline in her hands. Juyeon’s eyes are wet, still dripping with tears, but he looks at Chloe with unwavering love and devotion. She smiles at him like nothing is awry, leaning down to press her forehead to his.

“I love you, Juju. So good to me,” Chloe whispers, nuzzling her nose against him, watching as his eyes shut in bliss while a tear rolls down his cheek. Chloe thinks he’s had enough for one night, earning what he’s probably been dreaming about for years. She dips her head down, pressing her lips to his gently for a moment before pressing deeper, hearing a moan leave his throat and vibrate against her lips as she does so. The kiss is warm and still, Juyeon barely moving an inch as Chloe presses her chest against his for a second then pulls back, a small smacking sound filling the room.

Juyeon looks up at Chloe with hazy eyes, blinking up at her like she’s some kind of magical being that shouldn’t be visible to the human eye. He reaches up, holding her cheek in his hand with the arm that now has her name engrained forever. Her breathing catches, looking down at Juyeon with wide eyes. She expects violence, prepping for a strike that never comes. Instead, his thumb runs over her cheekbone and then drags down to run across her plump bottom lip. Juyeon could overpower her if he wanted to. Most people could. Chloe is small and frail, her hands bony and real nails brittle. It’s always been hard for her to put on weight, but that’s not a real issue in the industry in which she works. Juyeon isn’t violent, though. There’s not even anger in his gaze, only love.

“Anything for my Chloe,” Juyeon whispers like an oath. Chloe hated admitting it, but her heart skipped a beat at that, her hands delicately resting on his bicep. Her eyes fall down to the bloodied mess on the inside of Juyeon’s arm, rubbing her lips together at the messy sight before looking back at his face. She doesn’t say anything, only leans in and kisses his lips again. He tilts his head up to return the kiss, initiating a deepening, but Chloe pulls back before either of them can.

“Need to bandage you up,” Chloe hums, kissing his cheek as a parting gift as she moves off the bed to get the first aid kid from the same desk she got the boxcutter from. Even now, there’s a smile on her face.

Sweet Like Candy is Sena's debut mini-album, making her the fourth and final member of VENUS to debut solo. With a track list of eight songs, Sena performed the title tracks "Exes" and "Get Him Back" for a total of six weeks across various music shows and concert appearances. Exes would go on to win three music show awards, and Get Him Back would earn two.

With a star-studded all-female producing team, Sena's debut mini album will feature tracks produced by the acclaimed producing duo SODA, one of Japan's most popular idols, Kaori, Evangeline's leader Namra AKA angeleyes, the producing trio of Venus' sister group SNS Mika AKA M.ka, Yuki, and Piper, MORNINGSTAR member Eris, Kaleina from KRUSH, Hiro from LUCKY, Love AKA lovelies from REJECTS, and her always supportive groupmates Chloee Lee, Baebi, and Klara Blix.

Despite its divisive reception, Sweet Like Candy made a notable splash in the music scene. On its first release day, It sold over 1.8 million copies, showcasing Sena's shockingly strong fan base and the anticipation surrounding her solo debut. The album continued to perform well, reaching a total of 4 million copies sold.

The album's title tracks, "EXES" and "Get Him Back," quickly became fan favorites. "EXES" shot to the top of the Gaon chart, holding the number one spot for an impressive 20 days before "Get Him Back" entered the top ten and subsequently took over the number one position for 25 days. However, the album's overall chart performance was fleeting, with its presence dwindling from the charts after only a few weeks.

Sweet Like Candy sparked debate among fans and critics. Fans loved the album's personal, raw nature, speculating that several songs were about her past relationships, including rumored ties to a member of ArmCandy and Yeojun of Pushing Daisies. However, critics were less enthusiastic about the album's overall composition and thematic cohesion, saying she fell flat compared to her members' solo debuts.

Sena's vocal performance throughout the album was a standout. Her expressive delivery amplified the emotional depth of the songs. Her ability to seamlessly transition between high-energy pop anthems and introspective indie ballads underscored her versatility as an artist.

Critics had mixed opinions about the album's overall coherence and some of its production choices, but they all agreed on Sena's potential and the strong foundation she has laid for her solo career. Her debut album, "Sweet Like Candy," proved that she is more than just a member of Venus; it showcased her as a unique and talented artist in her own right.

OO1. Let's start off with the fact Sena's debut showcase SOLD OUT! All 15,000 seats were filled with constellations, her closest friends, and some other idols. You already know all of Venus was there cheering her on. They all made little signs to show their support. Klara wore a cute little headband with Sena's face on it that she and Elliot of Pushing Daisies; it was all very cute and a much-needed moment for Constellations.

Shockingly, Bliss was there to show her support alongside HautePink members Misun and Fame, which caused a lot of heated debate on constellation Twitter and some fan wars between them and Coutures, but what's new there? Not only were the Venus girls there but a whole bunch of idols came to support their favorite fake maknae! SEE WHO WAS AT SENA'S SHOWCASE IN HER INSTA DUMP!

OO2. Sena did a lot of interviews for her debut! She was on PSICK SHOW, The Kstar Next Door, Buzzfeed UK, and Hong Seokcheon's Jewel Box! This girl was everywhere and capturing the hearts of literally everyone she interacted with. She also got her own variety show, "Sweet Like Sena," where she'd basically try to make candy from scratch every episode and fail miserably. She'd have some guests on the show, which caused some really fun and iconic moments, like when Klara joined her to make rock candy. They literally made the candy so hard it was like a rock, resulting in the girls losing their minds as they tried to see who could break the candy first. This was the first time Sena really got to show her variety skills and she did not disappoint!

OO3. While on PSICK SHOW, they repeatedly tried to get her to spill who the album was about, and she would not give it up! Either she'd laugh it off or answer with, "I think it's obvious. Listen to the songs." with a smirk on her face. There were a lot of speculations from fans, but most concluded that the album is either about Yeojun of Pushing Daisies; they did major detective work to come to this conclusion, like, building timelines based on posts, deleted posts, and when Sena and Yeojun were seen together or a member of Arm Candy due to the on the nose title of the album.

"I don't think it matters who it's about. It just matters that it's good," Sena would say during her PSICK interview as she played with the ends of her hair and puckered her lips at the camera, "but some of you guys are riiight!" She'd teased, laughing at herself and covering her mouth.

OO4. Every encore stage, she did something special like pulling her Venus members on stage with her, a tradition for Venus solos at this point, inhaling helium from some balloons to pitch her voice during a stage, dressing like a cat for one of them, and most famously letting her backup dancers sing while she danced which was a hit with fans. Her live vocals were praised for her stability, though she was trashed for an encore performance of "Get Him Back" where she was a bit pitchy and out of breath, but in her defense she was tired so!

OO5. Not many scandals! The only real notable ones were her outfits being "too revealing" or "try hard" which...wasn't a big deal. It stayed in the stan twitter bubble relatively so Sena never saw any of it despite being very active on social media.

The other scandal involved none other than our favorite DeepDive boy, Finn Lee! The pair were spotted out and about together A LOT, like if Sena was spotted by fans, Finn was right there behind her. Though they would consistently say they were just friends, they were also seen hugging and hanging onto each other outside of a club, which caused a bit of a stir. Still, they never cleared it up with fans, and Mydol never released a statement. This just wasn't at the top of the priorities list lol!

OO5. OVERALL! SENA HAS A GREAT TIME! She was always glowing when she was on stage or at fansigns and giving it her all every performance. It was a breath of fresh air for constellations fighting for their lives just a few months ago. It was really a good time, genuinely. Everyone was pretty happy and supportive of their girl, and she was so happy with how everything turned out! Despite not having much creative control over her music videos and outfits, she was super proud of how the songs turned out and how it all went about. Pretty smooth and overall happy era!

Marking their first performance as a four-piece, VENUS performed on Team Green's stage at WaterBomb 2024 this Sunday, following the performances of Chloe and Baebi the previous two days. The turnout, as usual, was massive, being one of the largest crowds at the festival.

Oh, the people were waiting for this. They've been waiting for Venus to return to Seoul Waterbomb for years now and to be there for their first-ever OT4 performance. The people were hungry. They were ready. And so were the girls!!

Easily, one of the best festival performances Venus has done. Their energy was insane, like, points were being proven.

Bliss's lines were split up amongst the girls but most of her raps went to either Sena or Yoonah. This would start a debate on Twitter over who did the lines better. Way too many shorts, reels, and Tiktoks comparing how Sena and Baebi did the lines to Bliss how would do them would start popping up too, getting millions of views. It was a whole thing but the girls ignored it.

KLARA MET TRANSCRIBED: "Long time no see, Waterbomb! Woo! Look at all you out there...Oh my god, so many people are here. This is crazy...Did you guys like that opener? Someone sprayed the hell out of me during the chorus, haha! That's okay. I'll get you back after this next song. Are you ready?!"

A vlog would be released the same day of their performance, showing how the girls practiced and prepared for the festival. It revealed that the girls got to pick their outfits for once because you already know they were going viral left and right for how stunning and beautiful they looked soaking wet!

The girls also did their own makeup for the festival, primarily Chloe, who was doing the other girls' makeup since she loves to do hair and makeup and is never pleased with how anyone but her does it. She's a perfectionist and wants everyone to have the same look, unlike last year in Tokyo.

CHLOE MET TRANSCRIBED: "Woww! I could barely hear us singing over how loud you guys are. I love it. This is incredible...Are we having fun? Amazing! God, listen to you guys, holy shit. Literally shaking the stage, you guys are so loud. I love it so much...I need you guys to listen real quick though. Shhh!" The entire crowd falls silent when Chloe puts her finger over her lips, resulting in a viral moment and reaction video. "I'm going to say: You want me? and you're going to say: Do you want me? Got it? Okay...You want me?" Chloe puts her microphone out to the crowd as they shout "Do you want me?" causing Chloe to smile brightly. "Mwah!" And with that, the intro do "Blow a Kiss" begins to play.

There were lots of cute interactions on stage between the girls! Mainly, Sena and Klara, the forever Venus babies, were throwing water balloons at each other or spraying each other with water guns. They were constantly laughing and smiling on stage. It was really sweet and fun for Constellations to see Sena so happy again since it's been a while since she last seemed genuinely happy.

All of the girls slipped at least once during their stage, but it was all a laughing matter and a silly thing. Every time they hit the ground, they were laughing, and so were the other members it was a really cute and funny thing.

BAEBI MET TRANSCRIBED: "Oh my god, Waterbomb...Long time no see!! You guys saw me on Friday, remember? I remember. I see some of you guys in the crowd from my set. That was really fun, wasn't it? I was wearing a lot less clothes for that one." The crowd cheers as Yoonah and Venus laugh. Yoonah flips her wet hair over her shoulder. "We got two really fun songs next. I really like performing this next one...Watch where you're shooting your guns by the way," Yoonah warns as she points to the crowd with a playful scowl that turns into a sly smile. "I almost busted my ass during that last song. I'm watching you."

Yoonah would then go on to slip and fall on her ass during The Boys performance.

The girls were spotted in the crowd during Wayv's performance. Klara's reaction to shirtless Xiaojun would go viral, and she would be embarrassed about it, but that didn't stop them from filming a dumb lil TikTok together!

Yoonah and Chloe were seen at Taemin's set, which got Constellations really excited since the people love when Baebi and Taemin stand next to each other. They took a picture together after his set. SM Baebi Enthusiasts cheered!

Yoonah and Sena were also seen during Nayeon's set and Bibi's but pictures have yet to be posted...Constellations know they're holding them hostage!

SENA ENDING MET TRANSCRIPTION: "Waterbombbb!! I'm so happy to be here, ah! This was too much fun! You all have been so amazing. For our last song, I think it's only right that we sing the song of the summer...Are yall ready? I said are yall ready?!" When the crowd meets the volume Sena wants, she smiles proudly, nodding. "That's what I wanted. Thank you, Waterbomb!"

And as per tradition, Summer Luv! caused an earthquake, truly the song of the summer. These girls killed it and left nothing behind! And looked good while doing it!
