I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s a job. If jobs were fun, they wouldn’t pay us to do it. But occasionally there were moments that weren’t so bad. And for whatever reason, those are the only things I can remember right now. You know, most jobs suck 99% of the time. So you really… really gotta enjoy those moments that don’t.

Those bits of fun you have during downtime. Or an interesting conversation with a coworker. Or something happens that you can laugh about later. Or you do something that you’re actually proud of. If you’re lucky, maybe you even get to be friends with a coworker or two along the way. Not sure what else you could want in a job.

How insane is it that Superstore really had a character like Jonah Simms who literally ran away from business school to work as a minimum wage worker at a big box store and he was actually much happier in that job and the show never had him get promoted or even seem like he wanted to be or had any professional goals whatsoever and then he became a house husband for his girlboss wife and the two kids she had with a previous marriage and not once was there ever a conflict over Jonah not being their bio dad or him caring about her having kids at all. Jonah truly is out here living the life of a high-profile New York business lady who gave it all up for the sexy lumberjack and his kids, truly he is the bisexual malewife, romantic comedy protagonist swag

Crazy that in superstore Amy was called back into work only MERE HOURS after giving birth because of her suspension they restarted how many 'company years' she had been there causing her to NOT GET MATERNITY LEAVE

Yet when Carol attempted to kill a coworkers cat AT HER (coworkers) WEDDING and proved she wasn't a safe person to be around corporate decided

"Oh she just needs some therapy"

"Oh she can get paid leave"

"If anything goes wrong when you come back you just call us and we'll get a lawsuit ready for you, ok?<33"

Like wtff????

I know there's plenty of examples (both pointed out in show and in the fan base) but the fact that this was also one I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE is crazy
