plurality talk: normally I keep this private while giving out lil tidbits but it's been an interesting journey as a system. I don't like talking about it toooo much because again it's kinda personal but I noticed there are quite a lot of systems and plural folk that follow me. I've been host for almost two full years now. I think? it's been a journey of denial, confusion, joy, grief, and huh??? moments. I'm happy to exist as Salem along with my headmates.

Here’s some positivity for those with imagination-based plurality!
Even within different kinds of plurality, individual experiences can be amazingly diverse! Those with imagination-based plurality deserve to be celebrated and understood within the plural community. This post is for every system with imagination-based plurality, and to those whose plurality played a role in their system’s or headmate’s creations!

🌙 Shoutout to disordered systems whose plurality was caused or influenced by maladaptive daydreaming, a harmfully overactive imagination, or some other maladaptive, imagination-based coping skill!

Imaginations can play a vital role in a system’s functioning, and this is especially true for those whose plurality was formed through their imaginations! The imagination can be a powerful tool that can aid in or even guide the process of creating systems and headmates.
Imagination-based systems have always been and will always be a crucial and cherished part of the plural community! Your bright and beautiful creative spirit shines brilliantly throughout your system - please don’t ever be ashamed of this fact!
