If yall can relate to Patrick Bateman, I can relate to these mfs
I watched the Holdovers last night and it’s safe to say that’s it’s in my top three fav movies ever(the other two being Hunky Dory and Dead Poets Society)

Best Actress in a Leading Role for "Poor Things" US actress Emma Stone, Best Actor in a Leading Role for "Oppenheimer" Irish actor Cillian Murphy, Best Actress in a Supporting Role for "The Holdovers" US actress Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Best Actor in a Supporting Role for "Oppenheimer" US actor Robert Downey Jr. pose in the press room during the 96th Annual Academy Awards
welcome back alexander hamilton and john adams

the holdovers but it's just these two shits being forced to spend christmas together. hamilton feeling bad for adams' terrible social skills and realizing oh- oh this guy has issues, ok. adams learning more about hamilton's fucked up childhood and thinking oopss sorry about all the letters i sent about you that explicitly mocked you for your fucked up childhood!

from my instagram lol at a goodwill
i would have included dead poets society but i haven’t watched it yet

You were supposed to be looking after me. I told you to stop!

I have been WAITING for "The Holdovers" to come out, and it was everything I hoped for.

I've been out of high school long enough that I can actually start to miss it, or at least miss all the things that I WANTED it to be. This movie is BEAUTIFULLY shot (Lord knows I love a 70s aesthetic) and SO well casted (I never would have guessed that this is Dominic Sessa's first movie.)
It's not really a "Christmas" movie but it's definitely a great feel good movie. I could go on about it for a while but this isn't really a movie review blog -- I just wanted to share this since I enjoyed this movie and I found some very pretty stills.
rachel zegler and dominic sessa are proof that hollywood's got to stop with this nepo baby shit and just start plucking talented people out of high school drama clubs
The Holdovers will go down in HISTORY. Absolutely stellar. In every way.
