Cannibal Hound drew this that had this tiny lil Alastor in it, and this idea popped into my head immediately from it. Half way through I was wondering why this idea felt so familiar to me, and then I remembered:

my version adopted coppelia as a single father because im not about to pull the legwork of fleshing out his barely mentioned wife. i already had to do that for henry and william's wives, i dont feel like doing it a third time GHFGHDJF. plus, it makes more sense to me for him never to have been married, at least for my version of him
originally in my headcanon, the gap between 1987 and the Week Before was a lot bigger. but sadly after going over evidence in the book, i think the Week Before actually takes place just a few years after 1987 (1989 to be exact). its not IMPOSSIBLE that his stress would age him that much within that time, but he is meant to be like almost a decade older...i dont rlly know what to do about this, i put a lot of thought into those designs and i dont feel like changing them so 💔
