Hell-oh one and all to the Worst GMMTV Boy's Love Series Tournament*!

While it is always everyone's greatest wish to keep fandom a positive and wholesome experience, sometimes we just want to go ham and have a little toxicity in our lives… you know, as a treat! So that's where this Tournament comes in.

Starting next Monday, November 27th 2023, and over the course of the next ten weeks, we are going to have a series of polls to find out which is the most be-hated GMMTV Boy's Love Series. During the course of the tournament, it is allowed and even encouraged to get a little mean with it. Vote for the option you like the least, reblog the polls talking about how and why you hate the series you hate, leave asks to this blog to let me know, and feel free to engage in a little light-hearted ribbing - or even discourse! - in the replies to each round. Anything goes, the sky's the limit!

Unlike the original tournament, this is going to be a Double Elimination Tournament. That means that if a show you particularly hate has already been eliminated, fret not! because it will then be knocked down to the Losers' Bracket where it will keep competing with the other losers until it loses one last time or makes it all the way to the Ultimate Final for another chance to prove itself the worst in the business!

There are 24 shows in this tournament. The reason Water Boyy, My Gear and Your Gown, and My Tee ('Cause You're My Boy) were not included was that they're not liked enough and I didn't want to make it too easy. Also I haven't watched them so it wouldn't have been fun for me.

Now that we've gotten to know each other, stay posted for the beginning of the tournament and get ready to do your worst! I'll see you all very, very soon.

All these ideas, time to let go

I have so many ideas. Like any normal person who reads and stans people and are part of many fandoms and basically just have a life outside of life, we all come up with so many ideas. Either regular old “original” ideas, or ideas for fanfiction that gets me jumping all over the place in glee. And, I don’t know if I’ve simply been spending way too much time on tumblr, but I feel like this is where I want to let these ideas surface to confront the world. I kinda like this place called tumblr. I mean, I have yet to meet the mean people, but all in good time, yes? I’m not a terribly social person, so half the time I have no idea what to do with the bunch of accounts I have on social media and sharing platforms, but hey, tumblr is growing on me, and since I need a place to chill outside of life, I’m kinda inclined to head here. Anyway, guess it’s about time I start showing the world my ideas and actually face some criticisms. This blog is pretty messy to begin with anyway, so why not just wing it and go all freestyle with no fixed format? After all, it IS my fangirl blog. ;) I’ll pop by again later to post something if I can make the time. Hello to whatever followers I do have as of now, get ready to unfollow me if I become too much, or join in the fangirl/boying. The choice is yours.

So Bramch was canonically in 2 boy bands in his youth, one of them being the most famous one in Pop Troll history, and both of which had to have been before Rosie's death. Idk about you, but considering how Pop Trolls are, the ultimate flex for a male troll had to be being the lead singer/leader of a boy band, which we can safely assume Branch was the leader of NSYNC's band considering the way their cameos spoke about him asking them to visit and the fact he stayed in the center of the screen. On top of that, Branch had to have been the youngest troll to ever join a boy band, seeing as he couldn't have been older than 2 when Brozone broke up.

I'm just saying the series is REALLY hyping. Branch up as the ideal Dream Boy for a pop troll to get with, and then I think to how he was literally an outcast in the first movie and can't help but laugh my ass off. Like... I bet a lot of Trolls in Pop Village that used to mske fun of him very much had expressions akin to sucking on a sour lemon when they realized Branch was Bitty B AND the presumed leader of whatever NSYNC's Troll name was.

And that's before we take the events of the movies in account and just focus on his background up until the day Rosie died! Boy had been a full on Pop Troll legend before he reached puberty and then became a hero and the best candidate for future king in later life, you can bet Poppy is gonna see this and be so damn smug her best friend/crush is such a catch and she was the only damn person to see it for so long. Like full on pointing st him and be like,

"THAT IS MY MAN! YA'LL THOUGH TI WAS CRAZY FOR TEYING BUT LOOK WHOS LAUGHING NOW!?"

Like... ever heard Skater Boi from Avril Lavigne it's gonna be a total situation like that in Pop Village when they have that concert

Classic case of "Be careful who you bully in high school"

It's not just Pop trolls, Branch has qualities that the other tribes find very attractive.

His intelligence and engineering abilities are very sought after in the Funk and Techno tribes.

Musical and composing skills are very attractive features for the Classical tribe.

The Country trolls always appreciate a hardworking, honest, and loyal troll in their community.

All those qualities together make him a highly desired troll amongst the Rock tribe.

So, yeah, Poppy might not have much competition in the Pop tribe, but she'll need to put up a fight when it comes to the others. 😉
