So, y'all remember the Echoes of the Past-For The Future parallel/foreshadowing/reference?

You know, Hooty protecting Lilith during a game of make believe/pretend...

...but her getting hit right after regardless.

Well, I was rewatching EotP and I realized something.

Lilith gets hit again!

I repeat.

LILITH.

GETS.

HIT.

AGAIN.

I haven't seen anyone point this out yet tbh, so I thought I'd share it.

I definitely agree that Hooty gets nightmares about not being able to protect Lilith! They might've even started right after the Day of Unity when he was trapped in that abomination bubble and had to just watch helplessly as Lilith was captured and hurt by the draining spell, that must have been traumatic.

Yeah! Thankfully, Dana confirmed that due to an animation error, Lilith's sigil canonically disappeared. So she would be fine (at least physically) during the Draining spell, but despite that he'd feel so guilty. He still wouldn't be able to comfort her while everyone around was in pain and Lilith was going through the mental pain of thinking what was likely happening to Eda because of her.
