Imagine telling your best friend to stay away from Steve Harrington.

My best friend F/N always tries to go after any guy I've ever had an interest in even the guys I've only been friends with and I don't know why but it stops with Steve!

Y/n: "F/N I need you to listen to me very carefully alright?" I started off.

F/N: "Y/N what's going on your scaring me."

Y/N: "It's about Steve. I know him and I come from two entirely different worlds, he's beautiful and popular with amazing hair and I'm more punk with really messy blonde hair , we have two different social circles but I don't care , I really don't care because all I know is that I want him." I said sighing exasperated.

We didn't know this whole time we had an audience consisting of Steve, Nancy, and Johnathan. We were in my kitchen and they were watching from the dinning room.

F/N: F/N Looked at me shocked and confused. "Y/N what are you trying to say to me exactly?" They asked.

Y/N: I shook my head while looking down then back to my best friend "I'm saying that with all the guys I've ever liked or have ever been friends with you decide that YOU! Have to have them causing a rift between myself and that guy and now I'm saying it no longer matters because you can have them All except Steve. You can't have him because he's the only one out of all them that actually matter to me." I said with my eyes glistening.

Steve: Steve completely dumbfounded that someone especially you could be so taken with him even after how bad of a boyfriend he was to Nancy. "Y/N if you really meant everything you said just now about how you feel about me and it's not bullshit , then no one can take me away from you." Steve said to me.

I walked over to him with red creeping up my neck barely able to look him directly in the eyes. "It's not bullshit not even close." I told him.

Steve then tugged my hips towards him and kissed me and I knew he was mine and not even F/N could get in between us

You had unfortunately held witness to Chet Hunter having a heart attack , it was one of the scariest, and saddest things you've ever seen.

Now at the hospital with Shawn and Jack waiting for the doctor to come and inform everyone on how the surgery went.

You tried your best to comfort your best friend Shawn, but all he wanted to do was push everyone away.

Not knowing what else to do for Shawn you saw your best friends brother/ crush Jack Hunter , he looked like he definitely needed comforting.

Walking up to him you gave him your best smile you could muster in a situation such as this. "It's going to be okay, and no matter what just know I'm here." You told him.

He gave you a slight head shake,

you could clearly see he was on the brink of a breakdown, again not being the best in these situations, you squeezed his shoulders, causing him to look at your face, taking this opportunity to pull him in for a tight hug, that he returned with not as much force.

The doctor finally came out to announce to the Hunter brothers that their father passed away and there was nothing more they could have done.

The next day

You came home a little earlier than usual to check up on Jack to see how he's doing and if he may need you in anyway. As you walked in the apartment he was coming down the stairs from his room. " Hey Jack , you need anything?" You asked him. "Acutely if it's not too much to ask, would you come with me to clean out Chet's trailer?" He asked you.

Surprised he took you up on your offer to be there for him how could you say no? "Of course I'll come help, but what about Shawn, he would know what to keep and what to get rid of better than I would." You said to Jack.

He stepped in front of you now so you're face to face speaking to each other, " Yeah I thought the exact same thing, but he wants no part of it!" He said really upset and floored by Shawn's behavior. And leaving it at that you both made your way out of your guys apartment.

At the trailer Jack and yourself were at a loss on where to start first. You , yourself have been to Shawn's trailer plenty of times growing up and was quite familiar with the quaint little trailer. This time though was different, it was a ghost of a place you used to experience all your first in.

You felt cold, sad, empty, at a dark place just standing here now, too many memories flooding through your hazy mind one in particular standing out.

*Flashback 4 years ago *

You and Shawn have grown up in the trailer park together and spent every waking moment together and not always with Cory, you and Shawn would get a lot of nights alone.

Every night sense you two were 6 years old you guys would rotate spending the night at each other's trailer.

Now 15 you two still kept it up , and one particular night you pulled a Dawson and Joey. You climbed through Shawn bedroom window at 11 at night on account you couldn't sleep with out him next to you and it was your night to sleep at his place.

As you not so feline like climbed through his window, you noticed he wasn't in his room so you made your way over to the left side of his bed and preceded to take your shoes off and your jacket and climbed into bed and get under the covers.

Shawn had finally decided to grace you with his presence after waiting for forty five minutes for him.

He was in his boxers and a black t-shirt. He got into bed with you but with slight hesitation you noticed.

"Everything alright Shawny?" You asked him using your nickname for him. He laid beside you with his arms behind his head , looking at the ceiling. "Y/n don't you think we are getting too old to be sharing a bed?" Shawn asked you.

You so taken back by this question didn't even realize how fast you had rolled over to your side tell you were practically in Shawn face. "What do you mean Shawn, are you saying we need to stop this, if so why?" You asked with hurt laced in every word you spoke.

He moved his head to the side to look at your face, he examined every inch from your small mouth that he's been desperately wanting to feel and tastes, to your small button nose, to your full cheeks that went beautifully with your heart shaped face, your amazing e/c that he most recently would get lost in.

He couldn't say for sure that he was falling for you but he definitely could say that he wanted to feel every part of your curves.

From your thick thighs, to your bubble butt, up to your curvy hips and waist , he wanted to feel every inch , to explore every curve.

Now here he is again laying next to the very woman who captivates his every waking dream as of recently.

"Y/n we are older now and with that comes certain needs, you know?" Shawn said.

Y/n looked at him like he had lost it!

Not knowing how to go about this all she could say was " Then do something about those needs because I'm not getting out of this bed and neither are you." You said.

So Shawn didn't hesitate not even for a second before y/n knew what was happening Shawn kissed her.

Shawn had kissed y/n with such need, such heat and pent up sexual frustration they barely came up for air. Shawn rolled over to lay on top of her , she felt so much friction and heat she put her arms around his waist, pulled him down on her harder and started to grind her hips up into him.

That night was her first of many first with Shawn. But the next day he explained to her he wanted his first time with someone who he actually gave a damn about and someone who who gave a damn about him but he didn't want it to affect their friendship, he hoped you understood.

So in order to not push Shawn away you lied and said you completely agree and promised yourself from that day forward you would push any and all feelings for Shawn Hunter deep down in your box of untouchables.

When you and Jack looked completely indifferent to your surroundings Shawn walked through the door and explained to Jack and yourself that he's been feeling disconnected from everyone and everything but regardless Jack is still his brother and Your still his best friend.

As I tried to tidy up the living room the boys were going over their fathers bills all of which over due notices, one piece of paper stuck out the most and it was Jacks stepfather explaining there was no need for Chet to pay him back for Shawn college tuition.

That set things off " what else have you paid for Jack, this shirt?!" He yelled. Jack snickered and said "I would never pay for that shirt."

"Hey we're family, family helps each other out man." Jack said

Shawn proceeded to take off his flannel shirt and out stretch it to Jack "here take it, it doesn't belong to me." Shawn said then looked over at you "nothing belongs to me." He finished sadly

College, we finally made it here!

Y/n and her friends Cory, Tapanga, Angela, and Shawn have all made it to one of the biggest steps in their lives, College! They couldn't be anymore thrilled and proud.

Y/n was on her way to get her information on where her dorm would be. As she walked up to the counter she said " Y/n Y/l /N , I'm needing information on where my dorm room is?" She asked.

The lady looked up her name and started to shake her head, "I'm sorry but it looks like the dormitories are all full, but I see you did pay and signed up , and for some reason there was an error so you'll be receiving your money back and we'll put you on a waiting list for when one may open up." The secretary said.

Y/n heading back to the student lounge was very distraught from this

"Where will I live now?" She said to herself looking through the glass doors, not able to face her friends right now plopped down at a table outside.

Jack , Shawn Hunters older brother saw y/n hesitate at the door and walk away and decide against coming in , decided to see what was going on with her.

Y/n sat at the table at a loss not noticing her friend of a year sit beside her. Jack asked how she was doing but got no response so he waved his hand in her face, that definitely caught her off guard.

"What was that BlackJack?" Y/n asked with a small smile using her nickname she gave him after dominating him in none other then blackjack , one night they were stuck in his apartment because of a bad storm and decided to play blackjack.

Jack positioned himself so he was

facing y/n "I had just asked if you were alright?" Said Jack. Y/n for some reason could never really hide anything from him, if we were being completely honest y/n over the short year that she's known Jack has become closer to him than anyone even her supposed to be best friend Shawn, Jack's brother.

Messed up, right? Y/n fiddled around with her fingers and gave in "I have no where to stay, the housing office messed up and gave away my dorm, but I'll get my money back and be put on a damn waiting list!" I raised my voice felling irritated.

Jack smacked his hands together louder than he meant to causing everyone around to jump, then he clasped his hand on y/n left knee, making her heart stop briefly.

"This is far from an issue because you'll stay with me." He said like it should have been obvious. "What about Eric and Rachael?" I asked they might not be too thrilled with having a freshman living with them not to mention someone who's their brothers friend.

He stood up shaking his head " Doesn't matter, we're friends and you need a place tell they can fix their mistake." He said nonchalantly.

This entire time they never noticed Shawn watching their whole interaction. Shawn was boiling inside , just really pissed off at the site that was before him.

Shawn loves his brother Jack, happy to have an older brother to do things with and seek guidance if need be.

He however was never thrilled about the idea of sharing his best friend y/n who noticeably has become very attached to Jack over the year that they have known each other.

He feels some regret for introducing them to each other, and letting them get as close as they have. Now he needs to know what was going on between them and get his friend back, it's their freshman year of college and they are supposed to enjoy it together not her and his older brother Jack.

🔻Alec has feelings for you

And when you start to talk about Jace when you hung out the other day he doesn't want anything to do with it.🔺

Y/n walked around to the back of the institution to find Alec her friend/crush.

Y/n: "Hey Alec!" You say running up to him

Alec stopped immediately as he heard Y/n voice.

Alec: "Hey Y/n, where'd you come from?" He asked you.

You smiled really big.

Y/n: "Oh I just came from spending time with Jace, he's in all honesty between you and me, I think he's certifiably insane * giggles *."

Alec's face fell , he didn't want to hear about you his crush and his best friend. The thought of you and Jace makes him sick!

Y/n: "You won't believe what Jace di....." you got cut off by Alec



Alec: I'm almost certain I don't want to hear this story." Alec said getting ready to walk away.

Y/n: "Alec wait.... what's going on? What did I do?" You asked.

He turned around and just looked at you for a moment.



Alec: "If you don't know, then I can't help you."

You were crushed!

It's been a few days and people around the institution have been looking at you weird , almost disappointed.

Y/n felt so uncomfortable coming down for some training practice. Y/n rushed toward the training room trying to avoid eye contact from anyone now that she's the most hated person amongst the shadowhunters.

When you made it into the training room there he was. He looked at you for a brief second before turning around to leave.

It broke your heart not sure what you did for him to hate you like this.

Y/n: "Alec wait! please?"



Y/n: "Um ... I'm not sure what I've done for you to hate me like this but I don't want to loose you... Please Alec?"

Alec turned around to the sound of your voice braking and said something that he didn't even truly mean.



Alec: "Emotions are nothing but a distraction. You Y/n are ruled by them, we're taught to control them and you can't." He said regretting every word he said but couldn't stop himself from saying them.

Y/n was heartbroken.



Y/n started to tear up

"A lot of people hate me now, you know? And the truth is Alec for the way you have been cold and distant from me, I kind of hate me too." You said really sadly.

Y/n: "Alec!" You yelled to his departing tall frame.

Alec stopped but did not turn around to face you.

Y/n: choked down a sob , "Alec I need you to know before this completely falls apart, I'm so, so in love with you and I can't stand the thought of loosing you because of what? Spending time with Jace who's just a friend, hell not even that." You choked on every word but the only thing Alec caught from what you said was that you love him!

He strode up to you and said,



Alec: "I love you too Y/n."

Klaus- "Why the face love? You look angry." Klaus said to me.

Y/N- He has to be joking right! Of course I'm freaking pissed off! He kidnapped me from my room in the middle of the night like it was nothing unusual!

" I'm not talking to you so stop wasting not only your time but mine! And take me home!" I yelled at him.

Klaus-  He thought my little out bursts was funny, he looked like he really enjoyed it. All Klaus wanted was to take you to Florida because you wouldn't shut the hell up about how much you loved the salty , sunshiny state. You always said how you've never felt more safe than you did when you were there , soaking up the salty, breezy heavenly air.

So Klaus just decided to grab you up and take you to your favourite place because he just needed to see you at ease and happy.

He however didn't expect you to wake up like you did seeing as how you barely moved or woke up from him zooming you to his car.

He slightly looked over to the passenger seat to see you analyzing him very closely, that's when he knew he needed to shut you down for reconsidering his whole  persona, maybe he's human after all.

"Don't be fooled love, I'm the devil in disguise." He said to you.

Y/N- When he said that I couldn't stop myself from laughing. "Of course you are Klaus! You don't have me fooled one bit! But don't fool yourself either because sometimes you do surprise me by unknowingly showing me a little spec of your heart." I said with a slight smile, knowing I threw him off guard.

Klaus- Where did  this young woman come from?! "If you want your surprise then stop talking like that, you know nothing of me but fear so let's keep it that way." He said not looking at you once.

Y)N~smirked to herself while looking out the window, knowing the truth that he so desperately tried to hide. He can be a good man if he gives a damn about you.
