Tw Murder Mention - Tumblr Posts
Don’t care who you’re stabbing so long as it’s my carpet you’re dripping leftover blood on :)
Actually, you're right!
Although I disagree with 'extremely public' (because literally any online website is inherently 'extremely public') I firmly believe in the curation of content via tags and filters.
Personally, I would love it if tags, filters and content markers were obligatory. They are mutually beneficial in that they can show and hide content depending on the preference of the individual using those tags, filters and markers.
Hoping you make someone feel guilty is a strange one, though. Especially since without all the vitriol and pearl clutching, you actually have a pretty good point, and one that is actually aligned with a value a lot of proshippers themselves have.
I am fully aware that something such as incest is not what everyone enjoys. I am fully aware that there are a lot of people who would prefer not to be exposed to content regarding incest.
As such, I heavily advocate for the common-spread use of, and personally use, tags, filters and content markers.
Making sure you can't see something that is unpleasant, upsetting or triggering is as important to me as being able to find content I enjoy and help others who enjoy it find it too.
However, what I do find interesting, and perhaps something for everyone to think about, is that you are clearly placing blame and accountability solely on individuals and small creators, and I bet mainstream media wasn't even in your consideration when you made this post.
For example; Game of Thrones.
No warnings. No filters. No content markers. Incest, rape, pedophilia and murder on a free-for-all for anyone to access.
How many streaming platforms offer you the opportunity to filter out any content involving such topics? Without switching to the 'children's' platform?
How many TV shows and movies give you a little pre-episode warning screen telling you that X topic will be depicted in the episode?
How many official platforms offer the chance to filter or avoid certain themes and topics?
How many websites offer the chance to filter content explicitly by topic and not just an en-masse 'mature content' flag?
Certainly, far less than websites geared toward fan and individual based content. Tumblr offers me more filters than Twitter. AO3 offers more filters than Wattpad.
Individuals and small creators take more consideration in regards to tagging and filtering than the mainstream media industry ever has. While its fairly important to remind individuals and small creators of the importance of tags and filters, surely, its a more pressing issue to remind the mainstream media industry?
If you have the time to sit around making guilt-trip posts on Tumblr, you have the time to send an email to a major movie studio or create a petition or email Netflix.
I feel like people forget incest victims exist in real life and you may not want to make your incest fan content extremely public with zero filter. A lot of people treat incest as a joke but it's actually so fucked up because family is who you're told to trust so the level of betrayal and disgust is unimaginable. I hope I made someone feel guilty with this post 👍
I am actually begging some people to just let some spaces exist untouched by real-world issues and horrors.
Like I've lost count of the amount of times peaceful game or fandom servers have been ruined by people stampeding in with political rants, bitching about world issues, demanding internal activism, demanding vent channels so they can whine about their shitty parents, ect.
Like. Respectfully. Not every single space has to be inclusive of and welcoming of outside topics. The real world sucks. We don't needed to be reminded of that absolutely everywhere.
hey so since this is officially my political rant blog now ig i may as well kick things off w the most unhinged political topics
we as a society need 2 hav a serious conversation abt the resale and rental of actual haunted houses, like im not talking abt haunted house attractions af fairs n shit i mean like homes where there were documented cases of murder ect that can potentially lead to hauntings
now while i do personally believe that ghosts exist i don't think this is a topic that u should need 2 believe in the existence of ghosts in order 2 talk abt, bc the issue isn't just if hauntings are or are not real the issue is how it's handled in our society
this can be broken down into 2 main points that i hav
1) we as a society need 2 respect the dead more and the families of those grieving
2) we as a society need 2 stop putting marginalised ppl in positions where the only place they can afford 2 live in is a place that was the site of a previous murder
so yeah once again proving that everything is political ig, let's take this point by point
part 1) we as a society need 2 respect the dead and the families of those grieving more than we currently do
so in how this relates to haunted homes we need 2 hav a serious conversation abt how some of these actual homes that ppl were horrifically murdered in can often get turned into tourist attractions, which feels incredibly disrespectful? like can u imagine if 1 of ur family members got violently murdered and then some mf came up and bought the place and charged ppl an entry fee 2 c the spot where the dude's body hit the ground? like bro.... how is this considered acceptable behaviour is my question, i feel like that's something that most people can agree is kinda messed up even if u don't believe in ghosts and if u do it's like..... bro just let them vibe in their own home? like they got murdered let them vibe omg
part 2) we as a society need 2 stop putting marginalised ppl in positions where the only place they can afford 2 live in is 1 of these haunted homes
now this is smth i hav more experience w bc i actually did, unknowingly, live somewhere that was considered a very well known haunted area 4 where i live, now im not gonna get 2 in detail bc i don't wanna dox myself but basically it was an old widows home that was built by this rich guy who was trying 2 make himself look good in the papers or whatever, this house was divided into multiple different flats [or apartments if ur american] and it was disabled living, which basically means that it was exclusively 4 disabled ppl, it was also a tourist attraction, also i was not told that it was a tourist attraction when i agreed 2 move in, i was also not told abt it being believed 2 b haunted
now even if u don't believe in hauntings, i think there's still a conversation 2 b had there abt the ethics of of that, the building was not acessible, i don't even know if it was up 2 code since it was built b4 there was a code 2 follow, so why was this specific building used as the building 4 disabled only housing?
there was basically no sound proofing, there was no bath tub, i had a shower that wasn't in a proper shower unit it was just attached 2 the wall of the bathroom, the floor was uneven, there were stairs but no stair lift and no elevator, the stairs were uneven stone stairs, i don't know why this place would be the one 4 disabled only housing unless it was intentional, bc no1 who could afford 2 not live there would live there, on top of that right, if this was disabled only housing what do u think that finding out that the place u live in is believed 2 b haunted does 2 some1 w paranoia? what do u think that does 2 some1 w psychosis?
and taking this outside of my own personal experiences, what abt the places that r places where ppl got murdered? how is whoever is putting this place up 4 rent making sure that there aren't any more murders? r they looking into what made that murder possible at that location? probably not
idk idk much abt how housing works so mayb some of u guys hav some more insight on this 1 than i do but i needed 2 rant ig
since this is my political blog u guys can interact w ur own political opinions on this topic ect but pls keep it respectful or u will b blocked, still not interested in hearing from any right-wingers, neo nazis, ect tho
A little bit of a rant on Horikoshi and threats of violence against him so if you don’t want to read feel free to keep scrolling. Just as a heads up, it will contain mentions of murder, suicide, violence, and terrorism.
So I don’t know if this behaviour is present in every anime/manga fandom or if it is specifically the MHA fandom, but seriously what is up with some you saying that you’re going to kill or beat up Horikoshi. Like you do realize that’s a whole ass person right? There isn’t some robot writing the manga, it’s a guy, a literal human, you know with thoughts and feelings. Of course no author or piece of literature is free from criticism, but I feel like constructive criticism and saying an author should go and kill himself cause you don’t agree with some of the writing choices he makes, is not only cruel but just overall shitty behaviour.
One example of this behavior of is of some anime dude bro taking a photo of Horikoshi, placing it next to Osama bin Laden and writing in the captions something along the lines of “Spot the difference”. I can’t find the image now (because of course I can’t) but I think it’s pretty disturbing and outright weird to compare some mangaka whose writing choices you don’t like, to a literal terrorist who, y’know, killed people. Another perpetrator of this is that vocalpineapple guy (who has a huge following by the way) who also said that Horikoshi should go die because of what happened in the Bakugou death/revival arc.
This stuff isn’t even limited to the dudebros either, so called « progressives » « and leftists » do it as well (which is a whole other can of worms, also kinda funny how these people are mostly USA Americans and are from Western countries). They make violent threats such as the author should drop dead because he hid a transmisogynist?? And that they hate him and would like to kill him (or beat him up) if given the chance. And I don’t think people realize just how fucking extreme that is????? Like seriously you don’t like his manga? Criticize it, or better yet, hit da bricks! Go find something you enjoy, instead of going online and spouting hate against some guy.
And people might say, « Well why do you care so much ». It’s because I wonder, will this be the state of modern fandom? Sending death threats and spouting extreme violence against authors because you don’t like certain choices they’ve made? Where is the understanding? Or the nuance as to why certain choices were made? Where’s the analysis of the cultural context that a piece of literature is made in? Most of all, where’s the kindness? The understanding that another person can make mistakes, especially in their writing, and for the audience to not act mercilessly towards them. Is it so hard, to just critique the writing, and if the mistakes are a dealbreaker to you, to then just stoping engaging with the compositions and just go find something more enjoyable to you?
Overall, I think that the fandom hates Horikoshi way too much, and their comfort and overall acceptance of violence towards him is strange and also quite concerning. If you don’t like his writing, the just don’t read it! Or criticize it but like don’t start spewing violence against him.

so can we start hunting down white liberals now or what
“Again it rather understandable that you don’t trust me. Not every snatcher, hat child, bow child, minions or even dwellers trust a vanessa right away, especially after what their vanessa cause nothing but harm to them.” Vanny spoke as she recalled well what she done to her own village. she still not proud of it looking back but at least she is making sure to be better than what her old self or any other vanessa that are just cruel. she already met others that were almost like her universe but different especially how they reacted when meeting her. some run away, even one going to the freezer which honestly was the most reckless thing the ice queen witness. Vanny internally shake her head as she goes to focus on the situation. “so what you got in mind to calm this soul? I’m all ears” Vanny ears perk up as she glance at snatcher, willing to listen to the specter even if it going to prove difficult or not.

Snatcher, in human form, quietly floated through Subcon Forest, eyes and ears wide open as he looked around for the interloper. Hopefully, the runaway soul he’d seen wouldn’t recognize him in his more human form as Prince Charles and this could be resolved without too much of an issue.
…with any luck.
In any case, the ghost tried to put his guilt and shame at what the soul had said, and the situation in general, aside–what was important was getting them to move on…especially before they got too out of control and the forest…or his kids, got hurt.
Hearing a nearby noise, Snatcher quickly turned around to see who was there, whether it be the runaway soul, or someone, or something, else.
Gruncho smile with a nod, rather happy for the kid for finding a found family that been there for her from the start, even if he didn’t know the full story on how this child survive as a baby but eh they might never know but all that matter is that the kid is alright. “It really not surprising that most of the timelines, the mafia tend to be quiet trouble groups on their own.” he was still surprise how did the mafia manage to get to his kid ship but then again how did the others? he know for sure that the specter alone manage to go to the ship in ease due to floating. he turn to the subconites as he wonder what he have to say. “You have something on your mind?” he asked directly at the subconites, wondering what they were about to say.
Gruncho to snatcher: well then, aren't you quiet different
Snatcher, looking up from reading to his kids: So I’ve heard…
why do antis take it personally when we say we’re oppressed ? no that doesn’t cancel out trans people being oppressed. yeah we ARE oppressed i’ll say it loud and clear if people knew my sys even HAD rq members in it we would be harassed and likely doxxed or something along those lines. if people knew irl we would probably be jumped or k/lled :3
sure; rqs aren’t oppressed tho. /sar
When...
[Trigger Warning: Blood, Violence, Murder Mention]
When will it be her?
Behind the glass, the wheel spins. Every gift it gives is just enough to keep me strung along. Every item wears her scent, reflects her image.
When will it be her?
Five dozen options, all carved into stone.
Tick, tick, tick.
The symbols are mirrored along the edge of the arena, each one stained and soaked in blood.
Blood I give for her.
Finally, the wheel settles.
A beast claws its way out of the red, scraping against stone.
So close.
Its breath is sweetness, its gaze fire.
I hate it.
It has been so difficult to stay quiet in my pursuit of love. How many more must go missing?
It knows I’ll never reject a gift.
I bring my face to its own. Skull to skull, glare to glare.
How shall it carry my burden?
It’s not enough to drown out the accusations.
A witch hunt only to be stalled by tricks and honey words.
Plunge him into the water and if he burns it’s...
Murder! Murder! Murder!
I watch my own case from the crowd, breath cold and slow.
Don’t look.
You won’t like what you see.
Another drug into the pits.
Every time my hands shake.
Careful.
Nothing steadies them.
It knows exactly what I need.
I know exactly what it wants.
Murder! Murder! Murder!
A judge for an injustice.
A daughter. A son. A wife.
Now a husband.
How many bones need to break?
Red washes over the floor.
The wheel creaks.
It spins.
She’s perfect.
It’s a shame she can’t be real.
My nails sink into the meat of my palm.
I hammer the glass.
When will it be her?
