Anyway, there are many reasons to love sniper :D
For example:
1) his voice
Let’s talk about dubs, we can start with
The English dub! It’s the classic one, it’s very good. I like him in both, when he’s yelling at me to push the fucking cart for 5 minutes straight and when he’s whispering when scoped in :)
Next is the French dub! I love him here too, silly guy. Pretty good portrayal of him in my opinion :)
Oh my god the German dub! Uh half of the time he sounds like a man from a car commercial the other he sounds majestic. I love him :D
The Russian dub! He sounds way too hoarse, thus making him sound way older that he is but you know what? He’s very silly due to him not swearing at all.
The Spanish dub…I won’t speak about it, he’s just a guy in there …just like medic in the German dub I guess 😔
2) his style
Okay so from all of the item he has as like cosmetics he can be very cool, exsample lmao:
No, even his regular fit is good
If you remove his vest, he just becomes Kiryu Kazuma from yakuza 6 and he has drip for days..
3)Bitch um the comics???

Anyway, yes there is! Looking through the voicelines for revenge kills, we can find these (I’ll cover the first three since there is one which we are interested in):
Each corresponding to an original which gives a rough transition
1) "Везёт сильнейшим, мразь" —> "Skill always beats luck, ya weasel.”
Explanation for these: They both carry out the same general meaning, yes. The translation add to this by translating it into something like “The strongest get lucky, ya cunt.”
2) “Что посеешь,то и пожнешь, ублюдок.” —> “what goes around comes around, ya snotty little nance.”
Explanation: I originally assumed this was the faggot voice line cuz when you look at the definition of nance it is well..
Turns out it isn’t the voiceline but to note the translated version can be translated back as “what you sow ,you will reap, ya fuck.”
3)”Получи, слащавый педик.” —> "Take that, ya greasy weasel.”
Explanation: so you could um translate the word weasel as мразь which is closer to cunt in meaning but I guess because I suppose they took some artistic liberties and made sniper say faggot towards spy which is kinda funny because it’s a softer ,if you can say that, version. Like fag in a sence. He’s just playfully calling him gay in this scenario. It’s okay
But um the funny thing is..I deleted my whole ass Reddit account because I said faggot in a comment with the wrong fucking voice line so I was fucking misinforming people too so of course I deleted my whole ass according even though I just got a warning and the tf2 Reddit is not the best anyway 😭

i’m replying to a lot of ao3 comments for the first time in my life, so my brain conjured this meme
uh so i'm in speech and debate and for my event i write. so. here's something i wrote a bit ago, i like it. it's not saw or resident evil related but i wrote it. so um yeah
I don’t draw because I fear someone will tell me how ugly it is. I add more and try to forget how disgruntled it truly is, I end up making it worse.
I have grown up in a warzone with two dictators who want to end me as much as they want to end each other. Peeking around corners as their army increases and begging for a ceasefire when the clock strikes ten.
The more details I add in the background, the easier it gets for them to pierce together new machines. I add the way my stomach turned as her brow furrowed deep into me.
As my scribbles become detailed jumbled messes, they see the truth. It becomes chaotic and before I know it, my hand is mindlessly staining the page with ink covering up the art piece I just diligently crafted. I suppose it’s all I’ve ever known. Wake up, fight, cry, sleep, forget, wake up, fight, cry, sleep, forget, wake up. The cycle continues.
Wake up!
On days where it’s bad I paint my sister’s tears with my own. I stroke my pencil against my notebook as I stroke my hand against her hair.
I resent the days I look in the mirror and all I see is their behavior pierced into a resentful teenager. I know that the others who look upon me see it too.
Despite myself, I envy the girls who draw effortlessly. Never lifting their eraser to get rid of messy strokes.
No matter what I change my medium to, there is no change. My keyboard, defective from how many times my backspace button has been abused, my notebook’s lack of paper from broken lyrics stitched together, a guitar with strings so rough my fingers can no longer feel the scars.
I try to pick up what they threw away in hopes it would work for me only to be met with disappointment. Instruments and clubs and studies and trying to be good at something, anything.
I pick up praying and working out and finding my inner calm.
I pray that I will change, I work out so I no longer look like them, I find my inner calm to battle against the rage that has settled in my stomach like a warm glass of milk. Milk I should have drank instead of the screams of my protectors. Tucking in my sister at nine when I should have stories being read to me. Stories about unicorns and princesses, not how my mother was raised wrong and that's why she doesn't know the difference between how to treat her husband and her babygirl.
I wait for the day that something other than anger comes so easily to me. Something other than screaming to fill my throat.
When people ask what I’m drawing I find an answer in the middle. I don’t tell them that the reference of my side profile was a picture of my mom, back when she took up painting.
I just tell them it was inspired by a painting that's been in my family lineage for generations, and I laugh as I tell them I hope it’s never passed down again.
