Hey everyone!
We've made it through another year and finished PaparaWeek 2024!
While I'm here, I want to start responding to comments and give a huge thank you to our incredible host, @samara-asaika!
Honestly, I wasn't sure if we'd have PaparaWeek this year. As the days got closer and I didn't see the prompts, I started to worry.
But luckily, that didn't happen!
Even though Papara isn't my OTP, I'm grateful for this event every year. It gives me a wonderful opportunity to draw Papyrus, who I don't often draw, and of course, Chara too!
That said, I know this ship can be quite controversial. I'm aware of the comments about the age difference, but just a reminder that the official call states that if it's romantic, Chara HAS to be an adult.

Two years later, but here it is!
Honestly, I don't know much about the Caretaker Chara AU, and it reminds me of that time when Soriel was super popular (I didn't really follow it, but it felt like it was everywhere). So, it was a bit tricky for me to draw it.
(Also, I remember thinking about your comment for Chansweek last year, but I wasn’t too confident with handling comments yet, so it just stayed in the mailbox :p)

I always mix up FlowerTale AU with the one where Flowey takes control. I really like both AUs, and when I first got into Undertale, I ended up blending them together with my headcanons :n
Honestly, I've confused Flowertale and FlowerFell, so once I come up with something new, I'll repost the message and upload the new drawing!

NA: Hello! I said things would heat up a little, right? Well, that's coming up in the next ones. Sorry about that! I couldn't resist; I really wanted to draw this mini comic. As you can see, it's a mix of the fourth day of last year's Chansweek and something new.
I might have gone a bit overboard with the coloring, huh? They already warned me I wouldn't have enough time, but let's see what we can do!

DAY 3 (CHANSTOBER 2024) . GRAVESITE AU: Dusttale CW: Major Character Death (-Sans), Blood

NA: Well, I don't have much to say today except that the color composition really gave me a hard time! It was such a headache. Things didn’t go smoothly from the start—I wanted to arrange the panels in a cross shape, ending with the character lying on the ground to give it a gravesite look, but it didn’t work out that way, so I ended up with this different layout.
And coloring the blood? That was challenging! How do people even manage it?! In the end, I used a lot of red, some gold to make Chara shine (of course <3) but it’s just a bit dull compared to the others.
You know what? I was going to just put ‘Dusttale’ in the content warning, but since some people might not be familiar with it, I thought I'd give a little context! That way, you can decide if you want to keep going or not! Better safe than sorry!

Oh! Toxictale! My dear toxictale! So underrated! But I love you, no matter how hard it is to think and draw about you!
Jokes aside, here we are! I’m so excited to finally share this little headcanon of mine! I know it might not be everyone's favorite—some might even find the appearance a bit off—but I’ve always felt it had a lot of sense.
Just to give a bit of context, I came up with this story about four or five years ago. Some of the long-time fans might remember a few old drawings, but it’s been tough to fully express it in words or art xDDD The first skeleton is Gaster, and the second is Sans.
It’s still a work in progress, but if inspiration and time allow, the second part should be ready by the 10th.

DAY 5 (CHANSTOBER 2024) . SCARY MOVIE
AU: Underfell

NA: If I talked about an old headcanon before, this one is even older!
About seven years ago, when I first got into Chans, I was really fixated on the Underfell universe, especially on Sans and his abuse. That’s how this idea came to life!
For me, the idea is that Asriel and Chara didn't actually die but instead challenged each other to see who could survive the longest. Asriel took control of the people of Underfell, while Chara—I'm not sure why—only controlled Sans. In this comic, 'Chans' won by defeating the other six fallen souls.
At that time, the plot was all about Frisk trying to survive while uncovering the truth about the siblings' control. It’s like a video game within a video game!
As Set it Off said,
"Who is control? Is it you? I don't know So tell me who is control now"
Though that part is more recent!

NA: The plot is a bit meh, but.... ugh
I had the idea and knew what I wanted to draw, but I just couldn’t find a way to connect everything. So, it turned into a bunch of random panels, with the ending being the most important part.

DAY 8 (CHANSTOBER) . DESPERATION AU: Flowerfell CW: Mayor Character Death, Illness
NA: Here we are with an AU that, as far as I know, is a bit controversial but quite popular in the Frans community. However, what do you say we give it a little twist? Let's change into a Chans AU, shall we? ;)
This time, I tried using soft pastel colors to capture the gentleness with which Sans remembers Chara, making it contrast with the sad storyline. It’s kind of a bittersweet drawing.
Well, as many of you probably suspect, soft colors aren’t really my thing. I really hope my effort shows!
