The candles wither as Thor stalks by, casting the corridor in wane strokes of shadow. His own contorts as he moves, massive and bulky, his posture and gait fouled by his mood. The scruff of his boots echoes through the hall, erie when paired with the gentle snowfall beyond the Palace walls. It’s admittedly beautiful, soft tendrils of snowflakes coating the city’s drab walls, but he has not the eye for it, too cold and tired from the day. And the daunting news he must share.

His body wails for yours, for the comfort and serenity your presence brings. Quite honestly, you have been the only thing keeping him going these days. Being with you, indulging in your laughter and conversation, helps him feel lighter and less tense. Makes him feel okay. You’re a reminder that he is alive, and there’s more to his life than the terrors which rage in the mist.

Viking!yuu AU

I mentioned my AU in a earlier post so now I will be going into the AU

My Yuu is a female Viking (but if I get requested to use other genders I will but she is canonically female) and super strong and cool (like think Astrid and black widow)

Yuu lives in a large island with around 10,000 people

Yuu is the daughter of the chief and a only child

The island that Yuu lives in is called Kujos

In Kujos there is a ceremony on everybody’s 15th birthday where they are giving their special wepon

the special weapons are either a dagger with intricate markings of the family on the handle.

a bow and arrow with markings on the arrows and the top and bottom of the bow. with the color of the fletch’s on the arrow depend on status and family

and finally an axe(except is reserved for the chiefs family or people who have high standings) with intricate designs on the handle and metal

in Kujos the gods (Norse or Greek I haven’t decided) will gift those who they deem worth with markings

If someone does not earn the markings they are giving tattoos of their family markings at a certain age

the color of the markings depend on the god or goddess (if earned)

If the marking are tattooed on the color is the same as the fletch on the arrows

so that’s all I have right now I’m still trying to work out the details but those are my ideas and if any of you have any other ideas I should add let me know in the comments and I will add them in my next post
