You don’t respond, you have a start of a really bad headache and your body feels strange, as if it was on the verge of hurting and too heavy to carry around, the problem was that you knew exactly the cure to those weird symptoms, but he was no longer in your arms. And just like that abruptly stopped, realizing your big big mistake.

“God, what am I even doing?”

The alpha girl dropped her kind smile almost immediately, tensing. And just by the smell of her discomfort and nervousness you knew that none of this was right, that it should be a crime to even think about it

“This is all wrong, I’m sorry but I want to go back, this-“

The alpha girl tensed her pretty figure and raised a hand, doing a strange sign with her fingers, but you couldn’t even try to run because suddenly your body felt heavy, head dizzy and everything turned black.

Jungkook felt like he was about to rip Taehyung’s face apart, thanks to the information with which the young alpha had arrived.

“Hate to be the one telling you this brother, but the news are important, believe me, none of us were informed of this type of things”

The news were like a new knife twisting its blade inside Jungkook’s chest. There were some type of group that had the purpose of corrupting the mating bonds and ceremonies of the most powerful alphas just because of the constant fight of power upon all the other wolves.

“Why the fuck has no one ever notice this big ass problem, huh?”

Jungkook’s breathing was unstably painful, right now his wolf was fighting against the pain straight to the heart laced with sadness and the aggressive necessity of tear the throats of the ones who dare to betray their one and only pack alpha.

“Jungkook, you need to calm dow-”

Namjoon calm words were interrupted by the low growl and tight grip on his throat from Jungkook, a clear sign that he was losing his patience.

“Don't you dare tell me to calm down when you are not the one who has his mate away from you a few hours after having found her, snatched at the hands of some dirty cheeks.”

Another young wolf intervened hoping that Jungkook calmed down.

Jungkook kept his powerful orbs into Namjoon’s, grinding teeth and letting go of the other ones neck aggressively.

Taehyung locked his gaze with Namjoon swallowing down hard.

“We need you to… We need you to go feral Jungkook”

If Jungkook’s head was spinning before now he was gonna vomit.

“Listen Jungkook, it’s the only solution, otherwise we will not find her, we need your senses to the fullest, augmented by the nature of your beast's aggressiveness, before its too… late”

Jungkook was tense, so tense that he could not make any obvious expressions but he could never reject anything when it comes to you, he would give his life away only for you.

“You wanna go inside?” he offers, eyeing the boutique made out of wood and with windows almost from the floor to the ceiling. Inside it, the owner stands behind a wooden counter, her hands carefully wrapping something up for a customer in brown paper.

“Does it scare you?” His tone was condescending.

He kept his foot propped up against your door frame, arms crossed over his chest as he stared at you, his head to tilted a bit to the right while a smirk played at the corner of his lips.

That’s okay; you could play dumb too.

“Does what scare me, Kook?” He rolled his eyes and bared his canines at you, the sight alone sending goosebumps up your arms and legs, but you kept it cool. You crossed your arms as he shifted his position against the door frame.

Surely he noticed the way that your pupils enlarged and the sharp intake of breath you took, but you didn’t know that he could read you that well. Not yet.

“Come oooonnn, little girl.” You scrunched your face up in disgust.

“Throw a dog a bone.”

He laughed when you visibly swallowed, your hands tightening on your forearms as you held them, gripping at the skin, a nervous habit you picked up around Jeongguk.

“You’re a dog, alright.” He perked up at your response that you half-assed under your breath. He smiled.

“You believe me now?” He pulled himself off of the door with ease, taking only three or so footesteps until he was standing in front of you while you sat at the edge of your bed.

You shook your head. You just couldn’t believe him.

“You’re really a fucking dog?” He snarled at you, his eyes forming into slits as they slowly shifted into a honey-golden color. You jumped back and screamed with fright.

“Dogs and werewolves aren’t the same, bunny.” He smirked, shifting his weight onto his knees as he crawled up to meet you where you lay paralyzed with fear at the front of your headboard.

“W-what’s the difference, then?” You gulped, mouth suddenly dry. He paused to look into your eyes for a second, predator-like crawl haulting momentarily.

“Well, one of us is faster...” He crawled a bit closer. You pressed your palms into your bedsheets.

“One of us has more strength...” He crawled a bit closer. You were planning your escape. The door was open—it was a straight shot from where you were.

“And one of us knows that it’d be quite the mistake for you to try and run through that open door.” Your gaze instantly shifted from the door to him, his eyes still glowing yellow.

You laughed nervously.

“We’ve been friends for years, darlin’. So what, I grow some fangs and my eyes start to change color and now you’re afraid of me?” You sighed. It was so, SO much more than that.

“Part of me senses that you like it, too. Is that true?” He shifted from his crawling position into a sitting one, his right hand drawing circles on your ankle. You were beginning to shake your head, when he spoke while maintaining his gaze on your skin,

“You might as well tell the truth. You’re not a very good liar, Y/N.” You shivered.

“I m-mean, I guess I like it. Only a little bit, weirdo.” You kicked his hand away from your ankle with your foot.

He would always be one step ahead of you, though.

He grabbed the ankle that he was just devoting his attention to and twisted it, using his other hand to support your body weight as he flipped you onto your stomach (mid-air). You landed on the bed with a thump.

With the force that he used, you would’ve definitely twisted your ankle if he wasn’t holding you the way he was.

He let his hand linger just under your breasts for a little too long.

“I know. I could smell you.”

He laughed and sighed.

“Just wanted to hear you say it before I tried to do something about it.”
