slowly, the words dripping from your tongue like honey

the sound of her laughter is all that fills the room -- kayden’s remarkably better at being quiet than she is, and always has been, so her breathless giggles echo around the chamber without a sound from him, though he does look up at her with a smile gracing his lips as they skim down her side.

she’s ticklish, and he’s taking advantage. 

kayden pauses somewhere near her midriff, a question in his eyes as his fingers first brush her bare skin and then his lips, testing the waters. try as she might to stifle a laugh, she can’t help but to let it escape, squirming in the sheets beneath him.

“this hardly seems fair,” she murmurs, reaching down and running her fingers over his hair, down his cheek. “you have far too much power, now.”

she didn’t doubt that he was memorizing each of her most ticklish spots, cataloging them in the back of his mind for future use. that was the way his mind worked -- when she least expected it, she knew she could trust him to remember and exploit her weakness.

though there were few places he could put his lips on her that wouldn’t elicit weakness.

kayden’s smile stretches from where he’s lingering between her legs. “you think i’d take advantage?”

this time, her laugh is voluntary. “i know you would.” 

his hands are warm on her legs as he pushes them apart to give himself more room. as it is, he’s nearly too broad for her bed, the difference in size between him and her enough to make her shiver. 

kayden’s mouth is warm at the inside of her thigh, sliding slowly up her skin. her breath hitches as she stares down at him. “and do you know that i -- love -- you?” there’s a slow pause between each sweet word as his kisses trail higher and higher, until she’s biting her bottom lip to hold back the sound she knows he’s waiting for.

it never gets old -- his affection. few things sound so beautiful as those three words when said from his lips. her hand rests on his firm shoulder, stroking tenderly against his bare skin. “yes,” she promises, and the wicked grin he shoots her before he leans his head back down sparks anticipation all over her bare skin -- even in the spots where she’s ticklish.
