Since Melody has magical powers and I have always liked the power of shapeshifting (and then I found out that Nimona exists).. I thought that if Melody has the power of shapeshifting (in addition to the power of telekinesis)

And this is in my story..

- *sighs* at least one person is still loyal to me..

I'm imagining the scenes where Melody transforms herself into a bear to hug and comfort Magnifico who is depressed (After being released from that mirror prison and when no one accepts him anymore even Amaya)

Yeah right! Melody has a red hood And she wears different clothes compared to the people there (to pretend that she came from somewhere far away) after all, after seven years someone may recognize her..

Would Magnifico sing Melody to sleep when she was just a baby? Or maybe play peekaboo with her? Perhaps even dance with her?

In fact, Magnifico sings "At all cost" to her some nights, (because every time I listen to it, I feel that this song had an origin and was not just for wishes) And some nights he reads fairy tales to her.

And yes, Magnifico played such childish games with Melody and And they would Messed up the whole castle when they sing and dance (Like Magnifico's vibe at the beginning of "This is the Thanks I Get" And the way he drops the armor and is playful)

I'm still thinking on the part where Melody comes back and releases Magnifico, (the way Melody returns without attracting attention and how until she frees Magnifico from the mirrored prison)

How did Melody get the scar over her left eye? And how does Magnifico react when he sees it for the first time? I can picture a surprised Magnifico seeing the scar and asking “Where did you get that scar?” And Melody replies with “I’ll explain later.”

The story is not at all what you think..

Let me clear it once..

It was another evening in Rosas, Seven-year-old Melody was playing alone in her room and Magnifico was in his study. He had told Melody he would play with her when he was done.

Melody was playing with her doll bear and the pile of pillows she had made into a castle, almost silent, she was really bored. "When will dad finish his work.."

She puffed her cheeks and looked at her doll bear that fell on the ground.. Melody rolls it a little with her foot, suddenly she shoots it and goes under the bed, Melody was so bored that she didn't even take it out from under the bed. "Stay there.. It's where you belong." She said to the doll, then looked at the door, decided to go to her father. She left her room as it was and went to Magnifico's study.

While running in the hall and runs her finger on the armors, curtains and wall, the sound of her boot heels clattering on the stairs she climbing.

When she reaches the back door of the study, she slows down, runs a hand through her hair and pushes it away from her face. She clears her throat and knocks softly, she knocks five times as usual. Didn't hear any answer, so she slowly opened the door herself.. Melody tilted her head slowly from the side of the door and said in a very calm tone..

"... Dad..."

Magnifico heard her voice, turned his head towards the door, his face was calm, spoke with a sweet smile.

- "Oh... Melody... I said will come to play with you, sweetie." As he turns his head to the table, where there is a big closed book on it.

-"Yes, I know.." While she was still standing by the door and her hand was on the handle, she was playing with the corner of the door with her other hand. ".. I don't touch anything.. I won't even make any sound.. I'll just stay here quietly with you.."

Magnifico Chuckles softly and looks at her. "Okay.. Okay, come here. Close the door behind you."

Melody's dropped face rises again and she closes the door with gusto and goes to him, Magnifico lift and hugs her, kisses her cheek.

"Daddy's little princess seems like she should be with her papa everywhere and her he should always entertain her." He says mockingly. Melody laughs at this. when she doesn't know what to say, she just laughs or smiles widely, her laughter disappears as she looks at the book on the table, It had a dragon design in the shape of a circle and a green stone on it.

"What is this.. Dad? it has a dragon on it.. Is it a new story book?" Melody smiles at the thought of that this book is a story book.

"Uh.. no no no.. it's a spell book and well.. it's not good for kids.. This is not a storybook."

"Oh so..." Melody's smile became fainter, in fact, the more she looks at the design of the dragon and the green stone that shines on it, the more she feels strange.

Magnifico sees this, he then pulls Melody out of his arms and Melody lands on the ground, her face still a mixture of emotions after only looking at the book cover. He bends and puts his hands on his knees and looks at Melody

"I said it's not good for the kids, sweetie. you don't seem to feel good when you look at it.. Will you wait outside until I'm done? Go to your room or play with Rosita your pony or see what mom is doing or anything else, then I'll be with you until the end of the night! I promise!"

While Melody was still full of negative feelings about that book, she looked at her father, her gaze softening a bit. "Okay.. I.. I'm going out. Now that I think about it, I'm hungry.." Melody slowly moves away from him and goes towards the door.

Melody grabbed the door handle and was about to go out..

"Wait."

Melody's heart skipped a beat, Magnifico's tone was serious, she slowly turned her head and looked at him.

"Come here, you forgot to give me a kiss, those strong kisses!" Magnifico smirked and opened his arms. Melody took a small sigh of relief, then quickly rushed into Magnifico's arms and kissed him firmly on the cheek. Magnifico let out a small whimper and then chuckled, he let Melody go, "I will definitely come to you as soon as I finish my work."

"Fine, bye!"

"Bye!" Magnifico waved at her childishly.

Melody closes the door behind her, then goes down the stairs to the dining room.

Some time passes, it's almost night, after eating the last piece of chocolate cake, Melody goes back to study, although Magnifico had said that he would come. Melody is less patient than these words. As she reached the door, she heard Magnifico's voice, as if he was talking to himself and laughing, Melody frowned a little from the sign of confusion, she slowly put her head on the door to hear something, but she couldn't hear anything clearly, so she decided to open the door slowly. She slowly puts her hand on the door handle and opens it silently, she sees a green light in the room through the gap of the door that she opened. She saw that light, she got exactly the same feeling as when she saw that spell book. Opens the door further and slowly walks in, Magnifico with his back to her and the spell book open in front of him, saying something and smirks every now and then.

"I didn't use you all this time because you were forbidden, but now that I see you're not that bad, what powerful spells you have in you that I can even take the whole world under my control.." Magnifico was talking to the book and gave a few evil giggles. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Melody, looked at her, "Uh, Melody... What did I tell you, dear? I said I will come to you later... and now.. you didn't even knock on the door."

"You must respect the privacy of others." He sighs and rubs between his eyebrows with his thumb and forefinger. "I hope you have a good reason to disturb me.. although I know you don't." He looks at her, gets a little serious, but still looks at her calmly.

"What if I have a good reason? Dad, can I tell you my opinion about this book?"

"Huh? This book you say?" He points to the large spell book that was open in front of him, Melody confirms with a nod. "Well, what do you think about this book?"

"I feel this book is evil."

"What? what do you mean?"

"I have a feeling that this book is not good!"

"Hmmm.. What's your reason for it then?" He raises an eyebrow and puts a hand on his chin and scratches his goatee a little.

"When you look at it, you feel that you are attracted to it.. It's like it wants to conquer you.. Even from the lime green color it has, it's not that good. Worst of all, this book is a spell book as you said! So it means that it has both good and bad spells! Who knows, maybe it will cause irreparable losses!"

Leaning on the table, Magnifico listened to Melody, through the look of those -why should I listen to you at all- looks. He chuckles a little and shakes his head.

"Big words come out of your mouth. When did you grow up so much that I didn't notice? How old are you darling? Seven? Hehe, don't worry my dear, you are still a child, you don't want to involve yourself in the issues of adults. I myself know how to protect myself and people from danger, I am a king!"

Magnifico goes back to the book, telling Melody to leave, but Melody is not listening.

"But even kings make mistakes. you have to stay away from the book! I know if you use it, its magic will corrupt you.. that's what I feel!"

Little by little, he gets impatient, rolls his eyes and turns back to the book again, concentrates on it, and the more Melody talks, the more nervous he gets, while he runs his hand over the writings in the book and the green light becomes more and more. Melody approaches him from behind so that she can take him away from the book.

"Enough melody, go back to your room."

"But Dad.."

"I said go!"

"But you have to listen to me! That book does not look good at all! I know they say don't judge a book by its cover, but this one is really a bad decis-"

"I am the one who decides what is good and what is bad!"

(Remember the scene? when the king told Asha I decide, so remember his hand movement because it's in this scene too.)

As Magnifico said this, his eyes glowed green and he was out of control, when he turned his hand, it passes by the side of Melody's face and she instinctively pulls herself back, but the mystical green lights that came out of Magnifico's hand hit Melody's face and scratched it. She clutches her eye in pain and fell to her knees, her black hair falling over her face and only a small glint of her tears showing through the strands of hair.

"This is what happens when you don't listen to me, your father, the king! now go to your room and you have no right to come out!" You should taste the punishment once."

A small stream of blood drips from Melody's face. She doesn't cry or say anything, just stares at Magnifico with one eye open through the messy hair. As Magnifico goes back to the book, Melody gets up with both hands firmly pressed against her newfound scar, not wanting to make it worse so she quickly leaves. She tried to go to her room without anyone seeing her, not even her mother, Amaya. In the darkness and shadows, she reached her room and quickly went in front of the mirror, slowly took both her hands, there was not so much blood, but a long scar was drawn on her left eye. Melody was relieved again that there was not much blood, she wiped the traces of it with a wet tissue. After a while she smirked at her scar and found it cool, but she was still upset and mad with her father.

"I have to teach him a lesson, I will torment him, I will make him wish a thousand times that this would not happen." The feeling of anger and revenge was all over the seven-year-old girl, she looked at the moonlight shining in through the window, then took a deep breath. Then she picked up the small leather bag that was under her bed, there her eyes fell on the doll bear that she had thrown under the bed, she picked it up and looked at it. "Loneliness is not good... Of course, for you, go back to your friends." She puts it next to the other dolls, her room was still a bit messy, But she didn't care, she took some papers and charcoal pencils and put them in her small leather bag, she always draws. Some clothes as well. Suddenly, her eyes fell on her necklace, which was on the table next to her bed. The same necklace that Magnifico put a spell on it to protect Melody from danger, she wasn't wearing it today, she sighed and put it on. "It's not there when you want it, it's in front of you when you don't need it." She says to herself, then closes her bag and opens the window with her telekinesis. The wind blows inside and the curtains waves. Melody looked out, but turned back from the window frame she was about to pass. Thought for a bit, didn't even know how to do it, sighed and dropped the bag on her bed. "Melody, It doesn't matter, you can survive for a few days without painting, your clothes are the same, only you and yourself."

Melody says to herself, then looks out the window again. "You just have to believe in it, then you will succeed." Takes a deep breath, her scar hurts a little but she doesn't care and just closes her left eye to feel less pain. Then she got ready, looked at the window and made sure of her goal, she kept saying in her mind that "you can" and ran towards the window and...

Magnifico, who realized what he had done, goes to Melody's room with a regretful and worried face..

When he reached the back door of her room, he knocked softly and spoke in a very quiet and regretful voice. "Melody.. are you awake? If you are... I wanted to say that I'm really really sorry... I... I didn't know what I was doing at that moment... b- but you.. you were right... that book is not good at all and..." He sighs. "... I just wanted to make sure you're fine, so it's okay if I come in and.." He slowly turns the door handle and slowly looks inside, he sees that his room is still a mess and he doesn't see her, at first he thinks that she is hiding under the bed or the pillows or even closet. But when his eyes hit the open window, his heart beat faster, he quickly entered the. At first he thought this was another joke, so he searched the whole room, but there was no sign of her. His lips and hands tremble. "Melody..? This joke is not funny at all.. Come out wherever you are.." As Amaya was walking down that corridor, she heard Magnifico's voice and entered. Amaya was also worried when Magnifico told her what happened.

Ordering to search everywhere to find Melody. While Magnifico was scared and in a hurry, searched all over the places where Melody might be there. "I know you're upset because I argued and harmed you, but my dear, don't bother me more than this! Come out wherever you are, I'm sure we can solve it with talking."

While the whole city is in disarray looking for Melody, Magnifico and Amaya are in their room and he is pacing back and forth in front of the fireplace, his mind racing. Amaya is almost as worried, sometimes she looks at the city from the big window, the torches move in the dark and the voices calling "Princess Melody".

Magnifico's heart beats fast, and while putting his hand over his mouth to control the trembling, he moves back and forth in front of the heat of the fireplace so much that whatever tears are in his eyes evaporate, but they never end.

His voice trembles and he walks faster than before. "How could I... why didn't I listen to her one more time... it's my fault... no, it's not my fault, it's the book's fault... that book..." Amaya touches his shoulder and tries to comfort him, although she is not in a good condition either.

They don't stop searching for Melody, when he thought about the books, he got angry and his blood boiled, he just wanted to get rid of it, so he put it behind the glass and put a spell on it.

Magnifico's hair turned white sooner because his mind is no longer at peace, the whole kingdom can't bear this pain anyway, so he casts an oblivion spell across the island without even telling Amaya. He even covered the door of Melody's room with a wall and sealing away any memories of her, and the spell continues until Melody is mentioned or returned herself. And in his own words, he forgets her because the grief of losing her kills him.

(I'm sorry if I had mistakes, my native language is not English and I'm still learning, and I admit that I shortened the beginning of the story a lot because the draft was ridiculously not saved and I had to write it again)

Well, to be honest, I don't really see these two as a real couple, the tension between them is a bit cold and I don't see strong interest, but I have some headcanons, They're not that perfect but here we go:

Amaya is always more calm and cool and collected than Magnifico, while Magnifico acts more like a child and jokes and moves around a lot. (Although this one was also clear in the movie)

Magnifico always wants Amaya's attention, wants her approval of what he did and what he would do.. and Amaya do so.

whenever magnifico is stressed or upset and whiny, Amaya hugs him and kisses him and caresses his head.

Magnifico had taught Amaya simple and beginner spells that would come in handy in times of need, athough Amaya doesn't use them (almost) because she wants Magnifico to feel like he can only do magic here and also Amaya likes to do things with her own hands rather than magic.

Amaya was the one who could tame Magnifico. His most trusted advisor. The one who could see past his magic and see a man.

The two of them have affection and sweet love towards each other, but not a lovey-dovey one, like talking sweetly, holding hands, putting head on shoulder, kiss on cheek, forehead and hand (sometimes lips but rarely)

Magnifico usually presents Amaya with loving letters in his charming handwriting - which he writes with his own hand and without magic - and roses.

The two drink afternoon tea And they eat cookies (especially walnut cookies that Magnifico likes so much) in the rose garden under the gazebo and talk.

And also Amaya likes cinnamon tea, Magnifico likes green tea more.

Magnifico has nightmares most nights, the nightmare of when he was a child and everything burned in fire, and he wakes up with a gasp, Amaya, knowing this, hugs him and rubs his back to give him some comfort, she even lets him cry on her shoulder.

Amaya was not lucky to have a child (for some reasons) , although Magnifico is afraid to accept such a responsibility even if there was a chance and it's because of his trauma that he is afraid of losing everything he loves again.

Magnifico was 21 and Amaya was 16 when they met each other by accident.

Amaya lived in the village, although no one knows her past and family, one day she was in the marketplace that the young Magnifico, who came to prepare materials and tools for his study, caught her attention. She couldn't take her eyes off him and resist. Amaya fell in love, while Magnifico was busy studying and didn't notice her, until Amaya decided to approach him and get his attention.

Magnifico noticed her attention and affection, and because he felt alone, he eventually accepts this love and three years later their marriage becomes official for everyone, while Amaya got married for love and Magnifico to not feel alone and to have someone to talk to.

However, none of them got what they really wanted in the end.

Even with the love and time they spent together, they still don't trust each other completely and haven't told their deepest secrets to each other, especially Amaya.

I have many other things in mind, but I think it's enough.. However, they are not that new.

Since my story takes place after the movie, it means that many things have changed, even our good-voiced goat. Here, Valentino is almost six-months-old.

I admit this is another one of my favorite characters from Wish.

I've finished this little one in the past few days and I'm going to post new characters or those that have changed their appearance in my story. So I started with Valentino (Because I had already drawn his design).

I was browsing through my unfinished/unpublished works and this one caught my attention.

Originally, the Imprisoned Wishes were supposed to be locked in one of these cages, but apparently this one also turned out to be a rejected draft.
