Can't believe Deadpool and Wolverine has got me drawing fanart for Xmen Origins Wolverine in the year of our lord 2024 ๐
Just wanted to show off this commission piece that @8bitkraken created for my fic Safehouse.
Seeing the initial sketch was unexpectedly emotional for me, because I've never seen my comfort character (Origins Victor) drawn before and it was just one of those things where you don't realize the value of something until you have it in front of you.
This artist has been an absolute joy to work with and I can't recommend them enough!

"Lohohogahan- wahahait,, AHaheheahaha! " Kayla could be faintly heard as she is forced to giggle quietly all the while being tickled by the stuble of her lover.
It was past midnight and Logan wanted to cuddle with Kayla. As always, Kayla had gave in to Logan's clinginess and gave him what he wanted. Unfortunately, this caused a very tickly outcome after some time of comfortable silence.
"What's that, love? I can't quite hear what you're saying by all that beautiful gigglin'." Logan exclaimed. He rubbed his stuble in the crook of Kayla's neck affectionately. It was a common habbit for Logan to move his head when laying at night, and would often use that excuse to tickle the love of his life.
"Ihihi know yohou cahahan hear mehehe LOHOgahahan!" Kayla halfly shouted, as she tried to push him away by the shoulders, even though it was no use.
Logan moved his head again to look at her now, deciding to use his hands now to lightly scribble at her sides so he could look at her face.
Logan looked up, and saw that Kayla had the most adorable smile planted on her features. How she had squeezed her eyes shut to try and block out the tingly feeling when he knew it wouldn't help any but her own sanity of control. He saw how her nose would scrunch up every now and then when he hit a certain weak spot, causing her laugh to go up an octive. How he loved nights like these to just see his partner let loose and laugh without having to worry about her own troubles that she has locked away.
Logan loved her like this.

I'm just thinking. Logan telling Wade red is his color like Vanessa in the first movie. I imagine Origins Wade and Logan. I need this now
I was going to make a skit, but I cannot act seriously so here:
I love the idea of D&W Logan being the same Logan from Origins. With that, I think there's a part of him that blames himself for the rest of the team being killed or tortured when he finds out what Victor and Stryker did.
If he dealt with Victor's rage before Stryker even came into the picture, Stryker wouldn't have a weapon. If Logan declined the general's offer, he wouldn't have left the team and Victor wouldn't have felt abandoned. He should've dealt with Victor. He wouldn't have killed John while he helped him. The team may not have been his family like the X-men, but they didn't deserve what came to them (except maybe Zero).
When Logan sees Wade prime, he probably vaguely recognized him. There was just something about the man in red that was familiar. His mannerisms, his jabbering. Because the TVA most likely erased his memory of what DP did in DP2, it takes awhile to pin this recognition.
They make me sick ๐ญ god I love them. Ignore the previous bits.
