no because I drew this with the idea of it's a little after they went on a mission of some sorts together and they're striking a pose before dismantling the elevator cctv (also short hair shu ackk)
Process for the Mysta Shu Illustration c:
because for once I actually decided to screenshot the steps because IT TOOK SO LONG - I drew this somewhere before Thanksgiving break and stressful uni weeks and transferring between two Laptops to work on it on two places -
The original plan (left) was something similar to fanart I saw of like school AU of Luxiem but a part of me wanted to try """"dynamic""' (at least that's what I convinced myself lol) poses and the trend with fisheye lens led to the revision (right)
I cleaned it up and struggled with lineart and was going back and forth with it for days ;-;;;
until I decided to just scrap that and do it as a digital painting of sorts
then background and some lighting annndd done <3
until I had to fight every cell in my body to keep Shu's hair like how it's designed rather than my short hair preference :>

Uni load has been lighter but it's the commissions and other art projects I've joined that takes all my time, but I'm enjoying every step nonetheless

Luxiem 2.0 !! I absolutely freaked out when the announcement was dropped, and I decide to challenge myself to draw their outfits while the relay was happening (which was a terrible idea) but was fun nonetheless !! they all look so pretty
