Nico & Annabeth duo is the most destructive duo. They literally have so many things in common and are both very powerful as demigods. For real, i will let my RPG-strategy -games-lover analyzation out for once because this duo need to live rent free in everyone's mind.

Character being Nico who is very strong in PVE and wide range damage, he could boost ally's attack and deal high Aoe damage depend on the amount of crit%. He could also be the kind that do mass debuffs like cease healings, silences, drop in defences or literally just keep you on the field until you surrender.

While Annabeth could be those single damage types that boost the ally with highest amount of attack% crit rate. She could be those instant skills or focus on weak points type that you would need speed for high rotations. Or she could be the HP type that the more she drags the more winning percentage. She is very good in late games and when you need to be serious and stuff.

I will assure you this duo can never lose meta. They are a must in high rankings or competive events and can be conveniently changed due to specific type of genres. They are made to fight with each other, and this is just my opinion with a general cringy knowledge about rpg games. They could both be different like both attack type and both support type. Overall i like to think their battle styles with each other have insanely high rotations, truly, you couldn't move and would be beated down or you would be so annoyed because of those debuffs and crits and eventually got overwhelmed so you rage-quited.

I like to also think that people tend to put specialized-in-burst Percy with Annabeth because they want to race for rankings and Will with Nico for boss fights because Will can increase %damage by the max HP of a boss or mob and heals with shields. They don't think of Nico & Annabeth at all because they clashed in single and Aoe or don't have bonuses in party and uncooperative skills and hard to build.

But in reality you only need fast-typing to use them or fast calculating of times to press Annabeth's skills and accurately input buffs for Nico.

In conclusion, they are the two pretty best friends you are looking for and need more appreciations.
