This Man's death needs more awareness yet I don't see any damn mainstream media or celebrities saying a damn thing about this. Where's the nationally televised memorial service for him, multiple funerals , wheres the murals dedicated to him across the country, where is the money that these celebrities have donated to Georgia Floyd and his family but has yet to do it for people like David Dorn's family, Dave Patrick underwood's family, Chris Beaty's family and many others. No one is protesting over their deaths. I was already feeling conflicted enough with the whole situation that is happening now and I thought I was already absolutely disgusted enough when I saw this horrible excuse of a cop kill George Floyd but as soon as I saw the video of David Dorn dying on the floor bleeding while nobody gave a damn to help him (which that image will forever be burned in my head anytime I think about the events happening) I just can't hold these feelings back anymore. This is why we can’t move on from racism because the people who claim that they care about a persons life, only cares if that person meets a certain criteria or narrative, it’s gross, we need to do more to stop racism. we need to care more, no matter the race (wether its a white cop killing a black man, black man killing another black man, a cop killing a white man, etc.) and no matter where in the world. All lives matter because we're all human, and that is the only trait that should truly matter. At the end of the day we all go through suffering and injustice, we have privileges that others outside of our country might not have, have the ability to be a decent human being without categorizing everyone by a label. There's more feelings I have but this is all I'll say about this for now, im stressing out and probably need to take a break for my mental health so I still won't be posting much but I just want to spread awareness about David Dorn since the media, certain political people, and celebrities won't give a damn and do it for him (even if it might not be enough, I still want to try since I feel strongly about this. Maybe when I can I'll draw more people who have unfairly had their life taken away from them and have yet have any awareness, of course they may not be the best since im not the best at drawing people so please forgive me). Hope all of you guys stay safe and well despite whats happening currently.
I mentioned him briefly in the description of my last drawing (the one for David Dorn) and as I said in that post I will be drawing others that deserve awareness and attention that they are not getting from any of the people I mentioned before. This man, just like David Dorn, needs more support as well as his family. If anyone can please spread more awareness. (I tried my best to draw him, but as I said before im not the best at drawing people so it might not be the best lol)

America's Prolonged Slumber
Our nation has not become diverse unexpectedly, we have always been diverse. That’s our nation’s problem. Over countless years disagreeing over varying affairs that has extended over time, ( e.g., be it race, class, political status, religion, gender, sexual orientation, etc.), we will never see eye to eye fully and this will never be resolved. One thing, however, is clearly certain. Until we are able to overlook the “differences” and actually behave rationally (for some - behave maturely) by seeing each individual as a person, then we will continue to stray away from what’s important. What’s the point in disrespecting those around us by the color of their skin, by the party they support, or by having people express their true sexuality? Every one of us has to wake up and truthfully say that each of us are the problem. Whether we are the ones who verbally express our opinions or not, we think about it. We choose to tolerate such behaviors by believing that it’s someone else’s problem when in all actuality it is our own regardless of how far away it’s happening from us. Resolving the issue in how we all see each other in such varying degrees is the biggest form of change that our country needs more improvement on. Why add more to the list of problems that we all have to face? Posting about these problems for the shear publicity regardless of the issue at hand, is not going to make one bit of difference - I’m fully aware that this post may be considered, but I have reached my boiling point. I’m done wasting my breath and voicing my concerns to those who need more than just a good talking to realizing that what I’m addressing is probably going in one ear and out of the other anyway. Granted our diversity may not be our biggest issue, but I am completely baffled by the fact that this issue is tolerable to some and still an issue. When can we look passed the “differences?” Yes! The bloody word has been in quotations because each human being on the face of the earth is different and let’s face it, we are all not going to agree on every possible issue because none of us are alike - big surprise - so why the hell do we insist on conforming others to a particular need or belief as if we have the right to do so to begin with? If you’re the one who looks at others as if you had just sucked a lemon out of the shear disgust or disapproval that you have toward them, then you are the problem! Here is to one day where each life truly matters. A day where we each can stand resolutely with as much love and respect for one another as our own family members, secure in the knowledge that we are all Americans and all want what is best for our country. A day when each citizen can contribute in making life better, not for ourselves, but for future generations to come. Only then will we achieve great things and actually resolve issues that, like our “diversity,” should not have been an issue to begin with. America is great in that we can voice our concerns freely but it’s 2016 and we are still behaving like we are decades in the past with the exception that we now abuse the privilege of modern day advances and use the technology as a weapon to voice our opinions about those who happen to disagree with a value or belief from the ones we have chosen to believe for ourselves. God willing - I hope I can bare witness to a country filled with respect, honor, thoughtful conversation, and mature debates to ultimately reach compromise in order to surpass the immature discord that we as a society have allowed to persist for too long.
Are you worried about your life or what’s coming next? if so, then find solace in today’s scripture because there is astonishing hope for everyone who believes in Christ! Jesus reminds us that He created the world and everyone in it and He is in control of everything. He promises eternal life to ALL people into his eternal home in heaven and you don’t have to demonstrate or demand anything to get there. Think about that!
While protestors are filling the streets demanding that “BLACK LIVES MATTER!!” - and that is TRUE - from God’s point of view He looks at the world and says THAT ALL LIVES MATTER!! Regardless of what does or does not happen on the earth, ALL LIVES will be in eternity one way or another, and nothing matters more than a person’s eternal state -- not their earthly state.
While there are major injustices in the world, we all need to understand that life here on earth is temporary. Instead of complaining about the unfairness of life in the world, instead embrace the opportunity to show kindness, compassion, mercy, forgiveness (and above all) LOVE for your fellow man. Rebellious behavior solves nothing and is the opposite of peace. God created man to live in harmony and peace, so instead of “If you Want Peace, Work For Justice,” turn this around and say “If you want JUSTICE, work for Peace.” JESUS CHRIST is the PRINCE OF PEACE and when you demonstrate love towards your ALL LIVES and God, He will bring justice to the world. If we do that, then all lives WILL matter.
So as tragic as some things are in the world, look at the eternal view and not just the chaotic world around us. This world is TEMPORARY but what follows is unseen. It is YOUR ETERNITY. This is what matters.
Friend, fix your eyes on the ultimate security and fulfillment that already awaits you because of the work Jesus did for you on the cross. All lives do indeed matter, but in God’s eyes Your Eternal Life Matters. Work towards God and you shall have both PEACE now and ETERNAL LIFE latter.

I never get political, especially on Tumblr, but this has been sitting with me for a while now and I thought I might as well share. I will apologize in advance to anyone who does not appreciate this kind of post, I will be back to regularly scheduled programming afterwards, but I needed to get this off my chest.

Food For Thought:
With everything that’s been going on in the world, more specifically in America for far too long, I think it’s important to remember this: EQUALITY BEGINS WITH EDUCATION.
Public schools nationwide are constantly losing funding or getting their budgets cut, making it nearly impossible for children to get a quality education. Education is the key to EVERYTHING. No child, no matter their race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, etc. should be denied an equal right to a quality education.
Education is so so so important, and it’s so often looked over and disregarded. It is mandatory for every child to receive an education; you can’t be a teacher without an education, you can’t be an astronaut without education, you can’t be mayor, a congressman/woman, PRESIDENT without education.
If we want to bring the people of this country together, we need to start at the beginning. If every child, EVERY CHILD, was given the chance to an EQUAL, QUALITY education, children of every color, shape, size, etc. would grow up side by side and have access to the same opportunities.
So many POC live in areas where public school funding is almost non-existent. If we don’t start every child off with the same foundation, how do we expect them to ever be on equal ground?
So, if you can, raise your voice for equal and quality education. We need equal, quality funding for public schools nationwide. If you’re truly passionate about educating the people of tomorrow, pursue a career in education if you have the ability to do so. Children learn from what they see, hear, and are exposed to. You can make a difference!
We can argue, fight, etc. all we want as adults, and that can bring about some change, but the true change will be seen in our children.
Raise Equality. Educate Equality. We’re all human beings.
