Arthur Conan Doyle - Tumblr Posts - Page 3
Wilde would whisper flowery sweet nothings in your ear during foreplay but then have his very dirty way with you
Fitzgerald would spend like an hour bragging about how good he was and then come much too soon
Shakespeare would make up positions on the spot but they’d be awesome
Doyle would please you once and then complain when you kept asking him to do the same thing over and over again
Hemingway would explain in no uncertain terms exactly what he was going to do, and do exactly one very simple act, but goddamn if it wasn’t the best time you’ve had in years anyways
Joyce would take FOREVER but eventually satisfy you
Rand would make you do all the work yourself
Poe would cry

Me on the outside cause I’m in public: 😐
Me on the inside: 👀💦🥵😏😏😏🤬🤯
MC’S A KINKY B*TCH!
The things I would do to get my hands on this...

The silver cigarette case given by Arthur Conan Doyle to Sidney Paget as a wedding gift, inscribed “From Sherlock Holmes” x
SHERLOCK HOLMES HAS ZOOMIES WHEN HE'S FOUND A CLUE
"In an instant, he was tense and alert, his eyes shining, his face set, his limbs quivering with eager activity. He was out on the lawn, in through the window, round the room and up into the bedroom for all the world like a dashing foxhound drawing a cover."
LITERALLY HAS TO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT HOW EXCITED HE IS
"In the bedroom, he made a rapid cast around and ended by throwing open the window which appeared to give him some fresh course for excitement for he leaned out of it with loud ejaculations of interest and delight."
-> watson wrote all of these in his notes.
from Sherlock Holmes - The Adventure of The Devil's Foot.
Great Ace Attorney fans will be excited with this one

Sherlock and Watson, dancing request. Sherlock needs to study this new dance( for reasons of solving the murder in the ballroom, of course) so the doctor is helping ♥

So, the good news is, I’ve been made full-time. The bad news is, I’ve been made full-time. Time for drawing has been severely cut. But I’m not very well today and confined to my sick bed, so I’ve actually had a chance to do some doodling.
I’ve been watching a LOT of Sherlock Holmes recently (Jeremy Brett, obviously) and this is the result of that. That, and all the cold medication I’m currently taking…

Still ill, but feeling well enough today to at least use a ruler to draw boxes, so that’s an improvement.
The upside to being ill is another day in bed with the Granada Holmes boxset and another instalment in the thrilling adventures of Mrs Hudson.

Well, my dashboard’s looking a lot cheerier since posting the last installment of Mrs Hudson’s adventures! I’m not sure where you’ve all popped up from, but it’s terribly nice to have you around.
I went back to work yesterday, but was sent home for still being gross and icky… So, it’s back under the duvet and back on with the Granada Holmes boxset.
Herein lies part three of Mrs Hudson’s adventures, in which Holmes doesn’t want to tidy his room.

In which Holmes gets a bit carried away. Fortunately he has Mrs Hudson to sort things out.
This series seems to be taking on a life of its own now … I’m thinking of giving Mrs Hudson and her pals a blog of their own; what do you think?

Watch this space...
Another exciting instalment of the Adventures of Mrs Hudson lands this evening!

You can't fool Mrs Hudson.
I love the idea of a 'Spot Sherlock' book. Maybe that's my next project...
(6 panels, people! Count 'em!)
Thanks for all the reblogs and likes ... it's really nice to know that people are out there enjoying these little bits of silliness as much as I am.

Mrs Hudson's off on a well-deserved break. I'm sure the boys will be absolutely fine...
Big thanks again to all who liked or reblogged the previous adventure; it really was quite lovely to see have you all on board! I've got a few more exciting things planned for Mrs H, so do stay tuned.

Mrs Hudson is back from her holiday and will be returning, ankles tanned, in an all-new adventure very soon... (I was hoping to have it ready for today, but then had to go and do grown up things like food shopping so that I didn't have cereal for three meals today and going to our appointment at the Register Office so that the Chap and I can GET MARRIED next year! Exciting times all round.)

No, really, don't get Holmes started on dancing...
More adventures coming soon! Thanks again to all who've liked, shared, commented or just giggled a bit at the series so far.

Happy birthday to Jeremy Brett! Surely one of the greatest Sherlocks of all time.
Turns out that Mycroft will wake for cake.
(Super quick lunchtime doodle - sorry for the picture quality, I had to take a photo of my sketchbook…)

Honestly, Mrs Hudson, it's just better this way.
New adventure next week!

Proper update coming soon (it's been one of those weeks, sorry) - but in the meantime, a couple of quick snaps from the sketchbook: Happy Watson, Grumpy Holmes; Happy Holmes, Grumpy Watson.
