Welcome to the house of Leo
We are all very happy to have you here. Our house animal is the Lion. Because like us it is Vivacious, theatrical, and passionate, creative, and a natural-born leader. The Leo house colours are orange, which stands for willingness, awareness, kindness, understanding, overcoming fears or obstacles. Also red which stands for courage, adventure, protection, and happiness. Now, there are a few things you need to know about your new house. Due to our determination, opportunistic, and blunt nature. Leos are often believed to be self-centered, selfish, mean, and controlling. But however this is far from the truth. As Leos we are loyal, stable, passionate, brave, determined, confident, opportunistic, straightforward, and optimistic. We are one of the fire signs here at our school. Which for those of who don't know. The fire element symbolizes inspiration, intuition, passion, and initiative. Another thing is our rivaling houses are Scorpio, and Taurus: due to our signs naturally clashing against each other. But this does not mean that a Leo can not be friends with someone from one of these zodiac houses. Our house has the best relationship with Sagittarius, Gemini, and Libra. One other majorly important thing for you to know is here at our school we do not tolerate any form of discrimination, assault, or bullying. Which includes: one's religion, sexuality, romantic orientation, gender identity, sex, disability, age, ethnicity, and zodiac sign. Anyone found doing such things will be punished accordingly. Also, to keep any students from feeling singled out. All house dorms, and restrooms are gender-neutral. Do not worry, unlike some other schools ours does not have a uniform. But all students are required to wear their house jacket that they receive at the start of every school year. For any students who find themselves unable to buy any of the needed materials. Please contact the school and we will help you in doing so. Once again, welcome to Leo, we look forward to seeing you this year

i learn so much through the perceived scrutiny. i learn more about how i wish to show up in the world. the compassion that i wish to extend to others. i don't claim self-righteousness. i claim freedom and sovereignty over my body and...my birthrights. the scrutiny allows me to gauge on a more interpersonal level where society truly stands, even at the cost of my own comfort. it requires me to be brave. it requires me to get in the field. not be scared of the dark, bloodily abandoned parts of the unseen that have been neglected. i choose this....or rather it chose me? destiny maybe? fate? whatever it was...i'm deciding to choose it back instead of resisting. i accept the discomfort. i honor my discomfort.

“Bravery”
Draw this on one of your pulse points (WITH NON-TOXIC MARKER PLEASE) to inspire bravery
“I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies, for the hardest victory is over self.”
—Aristotle
“It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.”
—J.K. Rowling
“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.”
—Anais Nin
yknow what I really think it's a brave thing? defending your own ideals and what you believe it's true, no matter if it's something socially or morally inappropriate
sure, I fully respect people who have to put themselves in danger frequently by their jobs like police and firemen, but imo people who aren't afraid to putting themselves to face whoever is against their personal truths 'cause they think it's the truth are also equally brave
If I Was Brave...
If I was brave,
I’d tell you this.
I don’t ever want to miss,
An opportunity to make you smile.
To craft a friendship,
Deemed worthwhile.
I’d travel all across the world.
Learn everything of our Earth.
From living,
To dying.
And perhaps rebirth.
The oceans, skies, and land.
Are what I’d explore.
To heal and protect is what I’d be for.
If I was brave,
I’d know true happiness exists.

You don't understand, And I can't explain it. I feel like I have this hole inside me. I feel isolated, Unable to reach out and touch. I have friends and people I care about, But its like I've lost connection. Contact. I feel like the world is spinning and still All at the same time. I have brief moments of clarity, But they are just lost between hours of doubt. I feel like there is a grey cloud above me. Not touching me or raining upon me. But just there. A presence I can't shake. But what's worst. I feel like crying every second, But I can still fan happiness in public. Contort my lips into a smile, To please the world And hid my misery from it. And my self. But most of all, I’m tired. I want to go into an endless sleep Take an extra step further Try and hold my breath a little longer. But I wont. Because I’m a coward, Just waiting for a moment of bravery.
To clear up some common misconceptions:
Weird is good. Strange is bad.
Smart is how much you know, intelligent is what you do with it.
Sympathy is having been there; empathy is feeling it without having been there; apathy is not feeling at all.
Bravery is choosing not to be afraid, courage is being afraid and doing it anyway.
This Monday is the upcoming Monday; next Monday is the one after that.
Hearing is sound passing into your ear. Listening is thinking about what the sound means.
It will be implemented. Who is with me? 🎆🎇😊💝

I thought it would be an hour of listening to screaming and looking at pictures of draculas, but it was so much for frightening than fathomed
Bowynn Gods: Kord

Brand and Kord: Gods of Brotherhood
Kord (Khord) Kord is the Bowynn god of bravery, freedom, justice, law, peace, virtue and brotherhood. He is the patron of heroes and is a guardian of the Bowynn people. He is the witness of brotherhood and adoption ceremonies. Kord’s parentage is Anhur and Rhya. He is the twin brother of the God Brand and brother to Brenda, the goddess of love and beauty. His position is often to the side of his father Anhur, king of the Bowynn pantheon. In many ways Kord, along with his brother Brand, their union mimics the aspects of the Greek twin heroes Castor and Polydeukes, the gods Thanatos and Hypnos and the heroes Damon and Pythias. It was Kord and Brand that created the Ki'i (good spirits) to ward away any and all Mano and the Tii (evil spirits) from mortals and gods. This he did when his cousin Mano declared war on him and his brother Brand. When Brand was slain, Kord and Brend traveled to Daunnat to retrieve his brother. They did so but in turn had to build a great banquet hall for Chumash and Kalma and Brenda had to fill it with an endless amount of food. Kord is seen as a most handsome god in armor most of the time, standing tall and strong. His long hair teams down his back onto his cloak and his eyes are said to be of deep forest green. And though Kord is muscular, he is gentle as well. If not seen with his brother Kord is followed by his faithful and immortal hounds. It is said and written that Kord also has a paid of immortal horses, which he and his brother will ride. These immortal steads are named "Hern kae Taulk" [Sun and Shield.]
Amongst Mortals Kord will often take the form of a dog, often being specifically a grey hound, Dane or Irish Wolf Hound. Sacred objects to Kord are primarily eggs. Other common offerings worthy to Kord are votive images of the Kii, horses and dogs, weapons and of course incense. However, it is not out of Kord’s nature to accept gifts such as flowers. Like all the gods, ne never turns down any sort of offering.

BOWYNN GODS: SHELI
Sheli (Shel-Lee) Sheli is the Mammont [Mammoth] goddess of the plains, bravery, long courageous trips and expeditions and she is the patroness of hunters and bravery. Sheli is very much one of the more revered gods during the celebration of the Great Migration.
Sheli did not play much of a role in the pantheon for a long time. For the most part she was looked at as the matriarch of the wandering tribes of mammoths, protecting them from dangers of hunters and predators. But it came to pass that the 13 great tribes crossed the Bosphorus into Europe utterly starved. While they had the protection and lead of the goddess Briathenaea, the people’s food stock was all but depleted. Brianthenaea asked Sheli for help. The goddess directed random herds of mammoths towards the tribes to be hunted. Thus, the tribes were saved again by divine intervention. It was at that point that the people revered Sheli as a goddess of travel and the guardians of plains and valleys where mammoths dwelt. In turn Sheli devoted herself a goddess of the hunt and protectors of hunters.
One of the great scared tales speak of the time when Sheli had issued a great warning to all the hunters of the tribes never to kill more than they needed. Especially when it came to the mammoths, for they were the guardians of the plains. Sadly, there came a point where her warning was forgotten and sure enough the mammoths were all but hunted off by greedy hunters. That’s when the great starvation of the tribes came. Sheli shunned the hunters and set them to survive on their own. It was the god Herne who prevented the starvation of mortals by sacrificing himself. Sheli saw that the people were grateful, and they brought her great gifts to repent. Sheli broke down and forgave the mortals and vowed to continue to guard and guide their hunts.
Sheli is seen in tow forms. The first being a mammoth and the second in her immortal true form; that is a woman of years, with reddish and grey hair, clad in travelling clothes lined in fur and a fir cap. Scared to Sheli are votive images of mammoths and elephants, hunting weapons and all sorts of foods. Bundles of grain are offered to her in autumn as a special tribute.
