Hear me out, Climate Change (in my accords) is a hoax but, since last 100 years or so (mainly after industrialisation) the drastic change of temperature and environment around us have changed rapidly, causing an ecological crisis. The last time earth had such change was when it was just one billion year old. During the impact of an asteroid during the Cretaceous period led to the global temperature increase upto 250% which led to extinction of major flora and fauna.

The only difference is, climate changes gradually after a time due to the influence of nature, but according to the reports the heat waves we are facing right now, wasn’t supposed to be an issue for the next 150 years.

If earth is supposed to be habitable for 2 more billion years, just minus 150-200 years from it before it resents again or gets engulfed by our sun. It has always been a game of survival of the fittest and that’s the truth.

We humans have interfered with the natural balance of the earth. We are crying for the issues we have caused in the first place in the name of modernism. We intervened with the natural process, but we never created climate crisis. It always existed, we just added fuel to the fire for our own destruction and for the next generations.

In the end, yes we humans are the reason why earth is going to die sooner and making other species suffer due to our actions. But evidently earth will die out someday. It’s natural. That’s what universe has been telling us. But I’m against misuse of resources and deforestation. For our own benefit we have been making other flora and fauna suffer and making so many specimen go extinct. We need to make such resolutions to control certain issues but not blame everything to “climate change due to human actions.”

“You are not a geographer if you don’t follow the newsletter of brands such National Geographic Society or Animal planet and many more. They might be capitalised conglomerates but they give more information about earth than the books we preach.”

Some wise professor once from the University of Delhi.

we watched one of her speaches at the UN in class for a seminar and something that really bugged me was that no one ever actually talked about the message she was trying to give. everyone just talked about how she had said she wanted to change things and then "didnt give examples about how to do that". i hadnt noticed this, but once my friend said something i couldnt stop thinking about it. i think its just readdy important that people watch the video and understand what she was actually trying to say.

New UN report outlines 'urgent, transformational' change needed to hold global warming to 1.5°C
Limiting global warming to 1.5C is a tough challenge but still within reach, according to a landmark report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change commissioned after the 2015 Paris summit.

Line graph with monthly temperature anomalies from each year from 1880 to 2023 growing across the graph to create a stacked bell shape. The Y-axis is labeled negative 3 degrees Celsius to 3 degrees Celsius and the X-axis has each month from January to December. As time goes on, the curved lines seem to stack higher and higher, and the colors of the lines change from white and light blue to light red, and then dark red. Finally, the 2023 line stops at August, the latest month we have data for, and it’s visible that June, July, and August 2023 were all hotter than any previous respective month. Credit: NASA

Confirmed: Summer 2023 Hottest in NASA’s Record

All three months of summer 2023 broke records. July 2023 was the hottest month ever recorded, and the hottest July. June 2023 was the hottest June, and August 2023 was the hottest August.

NASA’s temperature record, GISTEMP, starts in 1880, when consistent, modern recordkeeping became possible. Our record uses millions of measurements of surface temperature from weather stations, ships and ocean buoys, and Antarctic research stations. Other agencies and organizations who keep similar global temperature records find the same pattern of long-term warming.

Global temperatures are rising from increased emissions of greenhouse gasses, like carbon dioxide and methane. Over the last 200 years, humans have raised atmospheric CO2 by nearly 50%, primarily through the burning of fossil fuels.

Drivers of climate change, both natural and human-caused, leave distinct fingerprints. Through observations and modeling, NASA researchers confirm that the current warming is the result of human activities, particularly increased greenhouse gas emissions.

happy pride here is a rainbow fact

Happy Pride Here Is A Rainbow Fact

the colors in a double rainbow invert on the top rainbow. this is because the refracted water droplet is being refracted twice causing the first rainbow to be a mirror of the bottom. this is also why the first rainbow is less opaque than the second.
