Seriously, though, the grin Danny CANNOT STOP because it's Claude. Killing. Me.

"Knowing Claude, I know he's probably taking responsibility for it. I'm sure he's not pointing fingers at anybody else but himself. ... I know he takes it hard and takes it to heart," Briere told ESPN.com in a phone conversation on Monday. "I'm 100 percent sure he feels very responsible for it. At the same time, he's one of those guys that doesn't sit back and pout. He loves to take control of the situation and make it better."

In case there was any doubt: yes, Danny is still the president and founding member of the Claude Giroux Fan Club. 

These assholes, I don't even know what to do with them. Also, I find it hilarious that ESPN called Danny, rather than asking someone who's, you know, PLAYING with Claude right now. 

Since nobody else has, I just needed to gif this bit of Claude's reflexive smile when they asked him about playing against Danny. It's the only genuine smile I've seen in his pressers so far this season. (10-04-13, from Flyers Press Room vids, it won't let me link for some reason)

My beloved scored his 300th goal today. Pretty fucking good for a dude told he was "too small" for hockey.

Y'all, I am the world's slowest cross-stitcher, omg. But my mini Avs jersey is coming along nicely. I've finished all the burgundy at the bottom since I took this, but I had to stop to re-do the numbers. The numbers in the chart don't look anything like the Avs numbers, so I want to change them. The problem is, the Avs numbers are very round and don't translate well to squares, dammit.

Finally got this finished, omg. (aka I hate backstitching and couldn't make myself do it). There are several things I'd do differently if I did it over again, but overall I'm pretty happy with it.
