prompt #43: with a twist!

Write a fight scene, with a twist: no dialogue allowed! Think facial expressions, body language, other things in the space and main character you can describe.

gaming/streaming prompts

- A is streaming the game Valorant. A isn’t really good but tries their best. Other teammates start to say rude things. B, who was sitting on the bed, gets up and plays the rest of the rounds and kindly shuts the other teammates up.

- B is a scaredy-cat and when their followers voted on a scary game, B has A sitting next to them the whole game. A holds B’s hand the entire time keeping them comfort. “You’re okay, you’re okay. Just remember to make a left turn so there’s no more jump-scares.”

- “Wanna be the Viper to my Omen?” “The fact that I understood that means I’m spending too much time with you.”

- It’s late at night and just A is about to wrap up their stream, B comes home and checks on them. B walks in and kisses A’s cheek and says hi to the viewers. “Alright you guys, I’m going to steal A so we can go to sleep.”

- It was A’s birthday week and it’s been a bit hectic. When A had some time, they loaded their favorite game. Minecraft. Logging on, A notices that B is on the server. In front of the home A built was one of B’s gifts.

artistic prompts 🎨

- a and b are assigned an art project and for some reason both put it off til last minute and have to pull an all-nighter together!

- a is majoring in photography and needs help finding a subject to shoot. b just so happens to be walking by and a takes a few pictures to submit. little did b know they’ll see themselves in the art gallery of the college.

- b runs into a’s structure and breaks it. so b does their best to fix the sculpture before a finds out. when it’s time to present, a’s structure is chosen but doesn’t know what to say because they didn’t make it.

- two up and upcoming artists are now tasked with doing a collaboration. (but they don't like each other... enemies to friends?)

- “it looks like a kid made this.” *points at painting* “if im a kid, you’re dust!” *young a did make it, just when they were a kid*

- “draw me like one of your French girls.” “b, you know that means you have to be nude right?” “oh, i didn’t… I was just quoting a movie.”

- as a is peacefully sleeping, b draws a stretch of them. a few days later a finds the sketch and asks b about it.

- a can’t cook even if their life depended on it but when b isn’t feeling well, a calls b’s parent so they can talk them through step-by-step on making b’s favorite soup.

- b is a world renowned chef and is holding a contest. the winner will work with chef b and have a restaurant. a is a small town chef decides to try it out.

- “could you teach me how to make it?”

- “i thought you said you weren’t hungry.” “no, i just was hungry for something else…” “what are you hungry for?” “you…”

- it’s b’s first time making a meal for a and b is nervous.

- “wanna make [food] with me?”

- a is under pressure to get an order of cupcakes done and needs help. b sees a stressed and offers to help, but really b doesn’t even know what to do.

- “a, could you just move my hair back or tie it please?” “oh, umm sure.”

- a wakes up a bit earlier then b so they can make b breakfast in bed.

- a gets home and sees b sleeping on the couch. quickly and quietly, a puts things away and takes a shower. then a slips into the couch to sleep with b.

- while on the train, a yawns and b pulls a closer so they can rest their head.

- b was watching their nieces and nephews and finally got them all to sleep. as a result, b passes out with their phone in their phone.

- work was bad today so a calls b if they would stay on the phone with them. after a long conversation, a says they will hang up but b says no. so a peacefully listens to b sleeping.

- not feeling well, a was in bed sleeping. every now and then b will check on them.

- b gets their wisdom teeth taken out and a is watching over them. all I know is that there’s ice cream, crying and dozing off in the middle of multiple conversations.

a works at a retail store. b decides to surprise them at their job and get eat together when a has a break.

b got sick so a goes to class and let’s the professor know. a takes double the notes and gives them to b.

a is lost on campus and asks a random stranger, b, for help. b helps and they realize they have a similar schedule.

b and a are roommates but one day b comes home and doesn’t see a at all. it’s midterms week and a has been studying all day and night. b packs some food and goes looking in the library for a.

a is studying for a test that is 60% of their grade but b somehow convinces a to go out and have some fun.

a and b have been childhood friends for years but lost contact with one another. however, the first day of the semester, they see each other in the same class.

b needs a textbook and goes to the library to get it. when they get to the bookshelf, their hand and another is on the textbook. the hand, belonging to a.
