Unpopular Opinion Time?
There are many diverse aus, art styles, and OG content out there for fandoms. Some are more favored than others and artists are at varying stages in their artistic development (aka some are beginners while others have been practicing a hell lot longer).
So is it considered rude for people to publicly laugh at and mock specific aus and artists, or have a “cringe session” with friends and followers? Publicly as in on Tumblr, Discord servers, Twitters, etc where people in AND outside their circle of friends can chime in and also join in the mockery?

(this occured recently in a server group that i was rather surprised and disappointed in)
(no I will not name who but they are made up of ‘popluar’ artists with a large group following of their AU)
(like this was nearly an hour and half of mockery and cringe of others creations and art)
(like hey i get laughing in private with friends and not being a fan of everything out there)
(but in a public setting where not only the artist of those aus could hear and see themselves being mocked is uncomfortable)
