Do you remember my post about writing more fanfiction? I've written a fic in the Dragon Age fandom! It takes place during the Inquisition, so if you only played that game you can read it.
It is a friendship fic about Dorian and Cassandra, two noble pariahs bonding over Cass's family story and necromancy. They talk about the legacy of Cassandra's uncle, who was a necromancer, like Dorian. A bit of Dorian/Inquisitor fluff is also here.

Thinking about how the leader of the Shadow Dragons is called The Viper. Thinking about how Dorian’s clothing and all three of his tarot cards have a viper on them. Thinking about how in the gameplay trailer a friend told Varric that Shadow Dragons are people he wants to know. Thinking about how Dorian returned to his home to fight against the oppressive system he benefited from for so long and how the Shadow Dragons fight that same system

Think of all the things going on in Tevinter during DA4. We have the threat of an invasion by the Qun. The Magisterium is full of corruption and mistrust. There are the Lucerni. And of course Solas, who might eventually play a part in the uprising of the elven slaves in the Imperium.
All in all Tevinter’s political instability makes it a house of cards that could collapse at any time - and I’m sure it will. I think we will see Tevinter fall. And Dorian will be right in the thick of it.
And now imagine what it would feel like for his amatus and friends to try to reach him via communication crystal – and all they can hear is silence.

Everyone will fear you two and try to stay away from you when you're together
Because there will not be a day where ya'll don't mess with people
It's lovely though
She hates stuck up and lame people, so having you be a prankster is a dream come true
Most of the pranks will probably be directed at Cullen, the poor man

Ohh he lives for it
The first time you pull a prank on him he will give you the "how dare you" look
He's one who will mock offense and hurt whenever he's your target, but he kinda enjoys the attention and fun of it
But he loves it more to see you mess with other people, even though he doesn't say it
"Oh, amatus, how dare you..."
Meanwhile he has the biggest grin on his face
Also how convenient that everyone who messes with you two or comments about your relationship somehow ends up with a face full of flour or whatever
The Iron Bull
Almost impossible to prank
Sees through everything and knows what you're about to do
But he loves seeing you excited so he pretends he's shocked
Will be the one to add fuel to the flame when it comes to your pranking
"See his hat laying there? Would be a shame if someone put something in there..."
And there goes his partner to do exactly that
Would tell people he's not involved but his loud laughing says otherwise

Just why would you throw that in the ambassadors face....
You can't tell me Josephine hasn't almost had a heart attack at least once
She scolds you a lot, telling you you should be keeping up appearances !
Half of the time she does think it's lowkey funny and has to hold in a snicker
But then again... the appearances...
I don't think she's very fun to pull pranks on, just because she will either not get it or just stay calm and not respond in a fun way
Will let you do your thing when it comes to pranking people at skyhold though
As long as they aren't nobles....
i just got here but sincerely what is wrong with dorian pavus. he’s a necromancer. he helped invent time travel with his phd supervisor; this is never touched upon again. he comes out to you in front of his homophobic dad by going “sex. with men. ever heard of it”. he’s canonically so good at magic that he can keep up with god in conversation about it. constantly complains about the weather and all while he has one tit out at all times. his backstory is that he’s simultaneously a delinquent and a girlboss. he’s an alcoholic. his facial hair is completely fucking indefensible. h
