Y’all since bets can be made legally binding through contract too, what if Danny deals in wagers. This dude basically died on a dare. I’m picturing eternally 14 Phantom refusing to take deals because of the upkeep. Like you made a deal and own me a favor/your soul/your first born, now that is a pending investment to be monitored until assets can be collected. Danny says ain’t nobody got time for that and instead he deals in these wagers. They range to a multitude of things. If you can guess my living name(3 tries rumplestilskin style), beat me in a duel, catch my child in an earth hour, etc I’ll grant your favor. Since the summoner technically always chooses the place, Danny always chooses the activity(of course he always chooses things he’s confident about winning unless he wants to lose). And the punishment/Danny’s prize for them losing the wager is just whatever random thing he thinks of at the time. One time he takes a jacket off a dude. With cultist he normally has them turn themselves in.
Anyways the entire point of this is that Constantine’s whole schtick is making loopholes in deals or making conflicting contracts but he can’t do that so much with Danny’s straightforward no nonsense approach to his wagers. Just John Constantine being totally unable to deal with Phantom and taking it personally and either becoming obsessed with being able get something out of him or refusing to have anything to do with him when the JL ask him to summon him for whatever reason.
Short DP X DC Prompts #147
Jason adopts Danny Fenton and Billy Batson. Billy learns how to harness his powers outside of his Shazam form and Danny uses his powers without his ghost form and act as Red Hood’s Robins. (You choose what gimmick or name they choose. Go wild.)
I’m seeing the Dani Dami combo gremlin duo, and I gotta say, great take, love the energy. Same to be said for the Jon Dami Dani trio, but I really feel like they’re missing a perfect opportunity considering the amount of times people write them as going to the same school. Because instead of Damian needing to go “Oh no, there’s two of them” about Jon and Dani. He should really be reserving that for the unprecedented combo of Dani and Maps “I will crawl through the secret tunnels of my school and meet Killer Croc in the sewer and make him an uncle” Mizoguchi. We could be having Damian looking at Maps, turn to Jon, and turn back around and now there’s Dani standing by and definitely enabling whatever insane plan Maps has come up with this time.
He joins the hero scene when he's older, and the second he uses his ice powers the whole of central city think he's captain cold and flash's love child.
Their interactions only fuel this.
Cold trying to rob a bank: wha-? What the hell are you doing here?
Danny who has a ghost cold and still trying to fight:...nothing.
Cold: uh huh, right, your supposed to be home, you know what? I'm gonna call red.
Danny: Nooo, don't do that
Cold: then go home.
Danny:...fine *floats away *
Cold: right *turns back to bank teller* now where were we?
Deaged Danny. Except he isn’t found by the Batfam, he’s found by Barry Allen. Barry finds this black haired blue eyed toddler scaling the side of a building like Spiderman and saves the child, who then turns invisible in his hands in an attempt to escape. (Danny forgot about intangibility) Barry now has a meta son and nobody can pry him from his hands.
When Bruce saw the ginger woman catch the granade his heart DROPPED. He was convinced that he was about to witness this woman's death and so did Joker if the stretch if his grin was anything to go by. That terror only lasted a few seconds, though, as she curled her hands around it and the explosion did nothing more than knock her hands back slightly. She stared down at the covered shrapnel as if *she* didn't even know what she'd done and that was only furthered by the startled expression on her face when she looked up.
"I can explain." Bruce seriously doubted that, if the long few seconds of silence were anything to go by. Joker seemed stunned as he stood watching the woman with barely concealed anger but we too surprised to do anything. Similarly, Bruce was startled at the lack of fear in her eyes as she looked between her hands and him. After another few moments of silence she reached out and dropped the shrapnel into his outstretched hand, turned and ran. By the time he registered it she was gone and Joker had recovered from his shock. He knew Joker was higher priority than the random meta who'd just saved many civilians but he couldn't help but be distracted.
Jazz was minding her own buisness when Joker led Batman down the street she was walking down. The group of Gothamites around her started to scatter immediately, but there was chaos and confusion about which way to go. Joker used this chaos to his advantage and pulled out a grenade.
“You can catch me, or you can save them. Make your choice, Batsy!” Joker cackled as he pulled the pin on the grenade and threw it into the crowd of civilians.
Batman lunged for the grenade, but Jazz was closer. She didn’t know what motivated her to grab the grenade in her hands, but she scooped it up and clamped her fingers around it just as it exploded.
“No!” Batman grunted.
Luckily for Jazz and the crowd, the explosion was contained in her hands and nobody was harmed. Unluckily for Jazz, both Joker and Batman were now staring at her.
“I can explain.” She said lamely, but the silence stretched on several seconds. She had no explanation. Deciding to pull a Danny, she put the shrapnel into Batman’s hand and ran.

Pit rage isn’t a thing. What actually happens is that a dip in the Lazarus pit forms a temporary ghost core. These cores tho r that of a baby ghost that doesn’t know how to deal with its big feelings which when combined with the trauma of dying and all that leads to murderous tantrums.
Normally with the lack of ectoplasm the core will eventually fade and the tantrums with it but when it comes to Jason it didn’t. Probably having something to do with the way he came back or how long he was dead but doesn’t matter for whatever reason Jason’s core is there to stay. Now over time his cores gotten better at dealing with the big feels™ but it’s still a toddler that doesn’t know what it’s doing.
Enter GK!danny who rans into Jason while in Gotham and is just immediately like- A BABY!!!
And Jason upon seeing Danny is overcome by the need to throw hands (bc ghost socialise threw fighting) and has never dealt with these Big Feels™ so can’t stop himself.
Danny thinks it’s adorable and fights back until the cops r called at which point he’s like- ok bud, I gotta go. I promise we can play again soon- ends the fight then just walks away leaving a very confused Jason who is strangely really sad that the fight is over
Cut to later when the inter Batfam is trying to work out who this guy is and what has he done to Jason??? He’s so sad now??? Why does he miss the random guy he got into a street fight with???
DP x DC Snippet
You cannot rest here
The words cycled through Jason's mind as he laid still in his bed. Pouring pure focus into his hearing, looking for one thing, anything that was out of place.
He couldn't find it, even as he pulled himself from his bed and glanced around his darken room. The only light avaliable was the moonlight peaking through his blinds.
This was his safe house. One even his family didn't quite know about. It was fresh and new. He hadn't used it after an encounter.
There should be no reason anyone was here.
But they were. He wasn't sure how he knew, and why that phrase was reverberating in his mind, but it was correct.
The air of his room felt wrong.
Something wasn't right. Even if he couldn't catch sight of what it was, he knew he wasn't alone. Arming himself, he quietly padded from the bedroom.
Eyes sweeping the areas around him for signs that weren't there. Someone, or something, was in here with him. Hidden from his sight, but not from him.
He's eyes finally landed on the object he found just a few nights prior. An intricate looking thermos, with vibrate green detailing.
The lid had been sealed tight, and a small button rested on the side of it. He'd been tempted to press the button on plenty of occasions, but something always stopped him.
He sweeped the room one last time before stopping by his coffee table. The cold metal resting heavy in his hands.
Jason's initial plan was to take the thermos to the batcave. Have Bruce check it over, and see if there was any insight on what was going on inside.
Now he wasn't so sure. Between the heavy feeling of being watched and in danger, he was certain this thermos had something to do with it.
Push it
He'd been hesitant, he had no clue what this device was. It could very easily be the thing cause his anxieties.
Except he was certain it wasn't. Not with the feeling that was radiating off the metal. Unlike every aspect of his apartment, the corners that screamed danger as he had walked through it.
This thermos screamed urgency. Almost hysteria for him to do something. Anything.
Maybe that's why he found his finger pressing down the small metal button. Hoping against all odds he was making the right choice.
The blinding light that filled his living room, left him doubtful in those moments.
"Phantom, you don't understand-" Superman tried, confused and desperate to stop this very powerful ghost from potentially attacking him. He may have been a bit preoccupied, but he could just drop Superboy and do so.
"No, you're the one who doesn't understand!" Phantom snapped back, green eyes glowing dangerously while he gently patted Superboy on the back. A comfort to the weapon, Superman supposed.
"He was created to be a weapon! His creators trained him to take over my life and destroy me!" Superman incredulously tried to explain why exactly he felt nothing for the clone of himself. Well, mostly himself. Turns out cloning wasn't exact to metas or aliens just yet, though the cloning of other humans sure was nearing perfection at an alarming rate, if not yet perfect already. And this "ghost" child was acting like he was just an infant, or his own child he abandoned!
"And? Does he want to do that? Did he have any say when they were brainwashing him? Did you even try to see how he was after he found out his whole incredibly short life was a lie?" Phantom retaliated, putting himself between Superman and Superboy. "Do you even know his name?"
That final question took Superman off guard for a moment. "Of course I do! Superboy needed to tell us something before we let the team use him."
The room suddenly felt colder than the Arctic, and the formerly bright lights in the area shattered, raining glass onto the 3 standing in the area. Now the only light in the room came from Phantom's glowing toxic eyes. "Conner needed to tell you something before you let the team USE him?" Superman didn't have a clue how to fight off a ghost- the one time he had been allowed to fight one, he'd gotten possessed (Overshadowed Phantom had said) and had been defeated by Phantom knocking him out. If this was headed to a fight, he wasn't sure if he could win it. "Phantom, calm do-"
"Clones scare you that badly huh? Well. I understand perfectly that cloning without you consent is uncomfortable- Don't say shit because I Do know. But it literally wasn't a clone's fault they were created! Conner- By the way, he chose the name Conner- is just a few short months old and you were the only one there who could've helped him transition to a semi normal life before I got here."
"You weren't ever cloned Phantom, y-" "Real funny you say that when you've literally met my clone."
Superman went rigid. Phantom had a clone, and with his powers that was highly dangerous! "What do you mean I've met it!?"
"Clones aren't things!" Phantom snapped, stepping closer just as Superman had to take a step back. This conversation was a huge concern! He was going to have to convince the League to do something about Phantom's clone. There's no way they could let him just roam free! "Since I can tell I won't be the one to get that through your fucking skull, and it's clear you don't actually want custody of Conner, I'M taking him! Royal decree from the King of the Infinite Realms, you gave up all rights to your child and now I have a new sibling. Hope you don't fuck up again Supes, because ghosts will take that very seriously."
Phantom and Superboy stood there for maybe a moment, probably waiting to see if he'd rebuke but... if Superman couldn't fight Phantom, then wasn't it way safer for Superboy to be with Phantom instead? He wouldn't have to deal with the potentials of Superboy giving in to his programming and attacking the Team if Phantom kept him by other ghosts!
So, Superman supposed that the ghost realm was the safest place to put Superboy.
Phantom left Superman to stand alone in the silent and dark room. Superman sighed and resolved to call a Team Meeting, one to say Phantom took Superboy, and one to create plans to track down and contain Phantom's clone.
Batman had Danny by his leg. More specifically he was hanging Danny upside-down 40 stories in the air via said leg.
Okay. So Danny maaay have stolen some tech from a lab. Okay, a lot of tech. But Batman thought he was a witness or an accomplice! Not the perpetrator themselves! Does he do this to all his witnesses?
Appearently Danny said that last part out loud and his sass was unappreciated, hence Batman letting go. Unfortunately for both of them Danny didn't want to fall and he instinctually stayed there floating perfectly still in mid air.
Danny may be a terrible liar, but he was a phenomenal actor, especially when he's feeling spiteful. Alright, he thought random bullshit GO! Before Batman could comment, our little menace gave Batman a scandalized look, "You're a meta?!"
"No." The bats scowled even harder than before "Your abilities may have manifested just now."
Oh ho ho, Danny wasn't going to let him get away that easy. "My parents would have killed me if I had the meta gene. I know. They checked." That one wasn't exactly a lie. His parents would have seen any superpowers as confirmation that he or Jazz were ghosts and then it was game over and they did check thier DNA for something a lot when they were younger...huh. Thoughts for later than.
"How do you know you haven't gotten mutated by any of the stuff you deal with? Besides if they were my powers then I wouldn't still be hanging upside down."
Bats grunted in acknowledgment and just stared at him for a few seconds, which was uncomfortable. Lucky for him one of the other bats landed near Batman on the rooftop and asked about the situation. Danny didn't hesitate, "Batmans a meta! I'm stuck!"
"I am not"
"Are too!" Danny quipped back. He sounded kinda childish but he didn't particularly care at the moment. More bats came after the second one spilled the beans on some 'com' thing. They mostly mocked Batman and asked if he was okay, which he was but he would like to be let down please.
Eventually someone called 'Red Hood' showed up and was really really mad that Batman had threatened a kid.
There were fireworks after that. The kind that belonged on a soap opera and Danny wished he had popcorn for it. Unfortunately he was stuck disrespecting physics for the time being.
Or was he? The big bad bats attention wasn't on him at the moment now would be a good time to ru-
Danny screamed, genuinely startled at the sudden free fall. He heard multiple people swear and grappling hooks fire. The next thing he knew he was shaking while holding onto someone for dear life. It had been almost a full year since the accident and yet he still lost control of his powers sometimes when distracted.
Luckily Red Hood is super cool.
----
Aka Danny gaslight Batman into thinking he has superpowers he can't control.
Red Hood is mad Bruce threatened a child.
The Justice League is stretched thin as random destructive beings start appearing all around the world. They're barely holding these beings back and the most they can do is evacuate citizens. Then at one of the locations, a mysterious teen appears. He doesn't say anything and calmly walks towards the monster. Multiple members try to stop him but all their hands go straight through him. Before they know it, the teen jumps into attack and defeats the creature in less than 5 minutes. He sucks it into a strange device before creating some type of portal and disappearing through it.
One by one, each location reports similar experiences until all the beings are taken care of. When the JLA is investigating who it was that helped them, they find an old mural depicting the teen. In the mural he is standing in a regal position, both hands resting on a sword and wearing armor and a crown. They also find an old incomplete transcription that goes along with the mural. It is in a language no one has seen before. The only word they manage to translate is King.
DP x DC Prompt/notion #2
When Batman first started as a vigilante a certain percentage of the people of Gotham thought he was a demon or spirit or entity of some kind. Some of those people started to pray to him or even leave offerings on rooftops or fire escapes. The number of Gotham citizens that actually pray to him is fairly small but the number who believe he will protect them, who mutter under their breath "Batman will fix it" as their leaving the house the day after an Arkham breakout is very large.
Because magic and belief can work even when unknown or unacknowledged, Batman technically qualifies as a minor deity even though he doesn't know about it.
People have mostly prayed to him for protection and more specifically for the protection of children (especially after the Robins showed up).
Between his own actions and the belief of the people he is the patron deity of Gotham, of those in need of protection (particularly children) and of adoption.
Batmans strong belief that he is human keeps him human and he doesn't notice the minor boost magic is giving him. Like how no one ever sees him when he doesn't want to be seen or how he heals just a bit faster than the norm. It happens gradually over time as he gains more followers and he blames it on his training and on gaining experience as a vigilante .
Meanwhile, Danny needs a new home because of his parents and/or the GIW catching him and experimenting on him.
He escaped and went to Clockwork for help. Clockwork is one of his ghostly guardians but Danny needs human or at least human adjacent parents because of his human half.
Clockwork/Kronos wants to make 100% sure Danny is protected and happy in his new home. As a god himself, knowing Danny's power level and wanting to make sure whoever takes him in can keep up with Danny and offer him the safety he needs, Clockwork decides Danny needs a godly parent in the human world. His own children would be an option... except his relationship with them is still a bit... strained (hard to have a healthy family relationship after trying to eat your kids).
So he looks to other pantheons and after carefully considering the options, he chooses a deity that is still mostly human (perfect for Danny who was so recently entirely human and still learning about his ghost half), who is a God of protection (he can keep Danny safe especially in his own city where he's at his most powerful) and most importantly who is a God of adoption (who better to take in a child in need?). He chooses Batman.
The absolute chaos in the batfamily when the God of Time shows up and explains he wants Batman to adopt Danny because he is literally the God of having an adoption problem.
Danny, floating around Wayne Manor invisible: Day 23 in the chamber. They ain't found me yet, but when they do, they gone be surprised.
Batfamily: *Looking around frantically for the ominous voice from supposedly nowhere*

A fic idea came to me like a vision and I needed to make a meme out of it since I’m not sure if/when I’ll ever write it. Take it as a meme form of a writing prompt haha
(Dick/Nightwing has been flirting with Dan for MONTHS and Dan just HASN’T NOTICED)
Danny Phantom/DC fanfic idea:
Danny gets summoned (they summoned the Ghost king and got 14 year old looking Danny) by the DC characters (your choice) to take care of a ghost that has been causing havoc. The DC characters are pretty much going through Armageddon (idk maybe Pariah got out again or Box ghost decided that buildings count as boxes or Skulker decided hunting Supers would be fun) and Danny’s like “Must be a Monday”. He definitely mutters “Oh, not this asshole again.” Instead of fighting the ghost, Danny just goes “Yo asshole, knock it off!” And much to the DC characters’ surprise the ghost actually listens and stops their rampage and is very apologetic to Danny.
Feel free to use.
After moving to Gotham and having to deal with a stressful job, Danny has started taking walks around the city as a way to destress.
Since he knows that he could get mugged, he just becomes intangible and invisible while listening to some loud music on his phone.
Unfortunately for him, his control on his Invisibility keeps slipping when he gets lost in his music, and the people of Gotham keep seeing a semi-translucent ghost man walking around at night aimlessly.
Some thugs think it’s just a meta with invisibility and try to mug him, but pass right through and he disappears completely. This convinces them that he is a ghost, since having both invisibility, and intangibility would be too big a coincidence. Not to mention he never reacts to them whatsoever.
The Bat’s get word that a Ghost has been stalking the streets of Gotham, and he looks scarily like Bruce Wayne from the little they have been able to see from him. Now Batman thinks his dad may have come back as a ghost.
Danny is oblivious to all of this. He just likes his nightly strolls.
Fine line
Okay so we all know pre-reveal but already adopted Danny would question his whole life when he finds out about the vigilante life the Waynes are in but may I introduce you to:
✨Absolutely horrified Danny.✨
Basically he finds out that his seemingly normal family isn't so normal after all and due to the nature of the JL never responding to Amity calls he assumed that they were working with the government. This led to the realization that the family probably knows who he is (they really don't. They just think that he was a meta that doesn't want to deal with the crime-related life bs so they never brought it up) and they're probably in the midst of handing him to the GIW.
He's terrified, because god dammit he shouldn't have trusted a rich guy but he doesn't really have time to contemplate on his next move. Next thing you know Danny's holding a modified ecto gun that is now fatal to humans against Bruce.
The family is alert and ready to pounce on him, but they realized that Danny was shaking too much and his breathing was too ragged. His eyes are glossy and he's biting his lip like he's trying so hard to not drop the gun on his adoptive dad. Danny was having a panic attack.
Fuck it Prompt Idea 2 free to the public: Batkid of choice is kidnapped, the kidnappers call to place ransom but dial the wrong number and reach RetiredHero!Danny who is either living in Gotham or passing through.
Can be you adult or actually old enough to be the batkid’s dad
Kidnappers: We have your kid.
Danny: which one? (100% responding on meme reflex)
The kidnappers respond and let the kid say whatever and Danny realizes this is an actual problem.
Cue Danny using the help of Gotham’s network of shades and spirits to track down the location they’re being held at and kicking ass.
Batkid: you’re not B…?
Danny: no but I am the one they called. Let’s get you home.
I think it works best if its little Dick, freshly adopted Jason, or newly Robin!Tim. If Damian, having a handful of Bats show up just as Danny is untying him could be hilarious.
Batman: who are you?
Damian who is throughly impressed by how this man not only located his whereabouts but took out six armed men as easy as breathing in a fighting style akin to an angered raccoon: Batman this is my other Father. He came to my rescue as soon as he was informed of my capture.
Danny shrugging: as you do.
hello dp x dc fandom i have. a concept for u
so one of those 'Phantom meets the Justice League' fics (maybe with Ghost King!Danny?) and Danny's trying so hard to be as Mature and Adult as possible so they take him seriously and he makes a good impression. he's practiced this with Clockwork he can Be Professional he's totally got this
most of the League is ranging from diplomatic to outright suspicious (cough cough Batman) of this powerful unknown entity who apparently comes from an entire species of extradimensional creatures they had no idea about
J'onn J'onnz, local telepath, is watching this go down knowing full well that Phantom's thoughts are swinging wildly between 'holy shit i'm in SPACE this is so cool i get to meet the JUSTICE LEAGE oh man they're so awesome' and 'ancients PLEASE think i'm a Mature and Capable Adult'.
Danny’s not exactly sure why the Justice League are looking at him like this. He hasn’t been to this planet before. He knew it was one of the unexplored planets. No ghosts had ever set foot here, not even Pariah Dark. As far as he knew, this planet shouldn’t know about ghosts at all.
He started out by chatting with Batman, but talking to that man was like talking to a brick wall so he quickly dipped. He then ran into Superman, who he walked to for a good four hours before moving on to explore. Superman tried to come with him, but Danny politely declined, because he didn’t want to take up and more of the man’s time. He then met the Flash, and they got some food together and fought some petty crime together before he moved on. Danny was quite enjoying this world, it was so different from his. It had a different language(he kept the translator that Clockwork had given him handy in his travels) different culture, and different things to do. And the biggest bonus was that nobody was trying to shoot him. He ended his tour with Wonder Woman, who finally asked him the question that had been on every heroes mind since he had gotten here: what brings you to earth?
He had gotten quiet, then. His body language had been closed off. He deflected the question, but it had made Diana more curious. He tried to excuse himself, but Diana was persistent. With great reluctance, he eventually admitted the truth. On Danny’s planet, the GIW had almost taken over the planet. His kind had been forced out, and he couldn’t return home. Not that he’d had much of a home to return to anyway. His family was alive, but he had no way to reach them in the Ghost Zone. They’d destroyed the portal but he hadn’t had enough time to cross over. So now he wandered the universe, helping other civilizations in need, and making friends.
Now the Justice League want to help him get home, but where do they even start with building a ghost portal? Danny’s only comment was they’d have to move the on switch.
CHAPTER # 0
"Is it still following us?" whispered Wally over to Artemis as they amble deeper into the dark and ominous facility.
"Yeah, it's still behind us trying to be sneaky" snorted playfully Artemis as she glanced behind her to see the small mirage of a kid following them, said kid was actually just floating slightly off the floor and walls, peering at them with curiosity and caution. But to Artemis, she knew that usually spirits weren't as scared towards people like it was; she had met Secret before and hadn’t been scared at all towards them, but she feels this one is different... he’s way different from Secret...
'Do you think he's a stuck spirit like Secret?' she pondered into the telepathy link to the rest to the team; Zatanna who was near the front nodded, not looking back at them 'he does feels different from Secret tho, but he feels more like an astral projection to me'
'What does that word mean, the astral projection thing?' Megan inquired curiously at the same time she looked over Robin who was near front, checking some blueprints into his hologram wristband not looking where he was walking but still leading the group without tripping on anything, 'Isn't it the same for all ghosts?'
Zatanna shook her head as she walks closer to the martian 'not all ghosts are form the same way; some are form after resentments, some form after experiencing strong emotions' she lectures them as she automatically lights up a spell to brighten the hallway a bit better ‘astral are humans with the ability to move his soul out of his body at will’
‘That means there’s still an unknown child’s body lying around here?’ Kaldur said bitterly as he lighted his marks unknowingly, infuriated at the prospect of an innocent still trapped in here ‘Megan can you pinpoint his location or maybe connect to his body indirectly?’
‘I can give a try-’ A sudden screeching sound cut out the mind link abruptly, making the team stagger in place, Connor grunted annoyed as he grabbed his head in pain ‘who caused this interference just now?!’
"not that way" whispered the small sprite, who was now in the front of the group, his voice sounded as if was glitched “follow” fading sigly in front of them, the team looked at each other before nodding and following the astral as it reappeared a couple of meters down one of the hallways down a flight of stairs “down there”
“Is your body still down there?” Kaldur said softly to the mirage, the child nodded “Robin what do you read, is something down there?”
“there are some empty rooms already the league checked-” “is down there” interrupted the child “hidden… find the room”
