Trapped in the fade, Solas comes face to face with the remnant of his spirit.
The Dread Wolf was his wisdom, mirror to his pride. In the wake of the wrathful Evanuris, it too, has succumbed to their taint.
Or, where I'm making wild plot speculations surrounding Solas trapped in the fade. while turning my brainrot into art pieces and gifs. I'M PACING MY ENCLOSURE. Looking for crumbs and scrabs of Veilguard. Please Bioware I'm begging, feed me. 😭
So, I had a thought . What if ‘May the Dread Wolf take you’ used to be a blessing? Fen'Harel was the breaker of chains and the freer of slaves, after all. He sought to over throw the ones who would set themselves up as gods. Why would a people living in fear not wish him to steal them away? “It inspired fear in my enemies and hope in my allies.” It sounds to me as though there were plenty of people who would have taken sincere oaths by the name of Fen'Harel. The name inspired hope in those who followed him, it stands to reason that they would have prayed, whether he wanted to be viewed as a god or not. What if ‘May the Dread Wolf take you’ used to be a sort of quietly desperate prayer that he would come to their aid? Something akin to ‘God go with you’. Imagine how much it must have disturbed him when the quiet pleas for help gradually turned in to cries of anger, of rage and fear. It was no longer a prayer asking for his help but a slap to his face with every utterance. Another reminder of just how badly he had failed. Is it really any wonder, then, that he has so little respect for the Dalish when they turned something that was, if not entirely pleasant, at least something to be proud of into an insult to his very nature and everything he tried to accomplish? Because it used to be “May the Dread Wolf take you” with an unspoken ‘And keep you safe.’ And now.. its not…

This is me the whole time since the trailer came. (And I'lll continue until the game is released)
I draw something once in eternity but sometimes I feel inspired. This WIP is a month old and today I draw his clothes. And it's the "elvhen glory" clothes and cool, yeah, but DAMN I'm tired of trying to replicate this elvhen disaster...
Also this drawing has my oc but it's need to be explained so I don't show for now. If I complete it probably show the whole picture with explanation (Hopefully, I'll do it)

wip inspired by banter between Solas and Bull when they play chess and Solas sacrifices the queen to win. And for me it's obviously Lavellan in Solavellan playthrough.
And now he get Rook. Will be rook be sacrificed? We'll see. My spirit animal for Tristan(my Rook) is grey fox btw. Loved how he turned out because it was the first time I draw foxes.
Ok so to prove this truly is a Solavellan tumblr, here’s my current favorite pic of Solas scraped from my current favorite Solas-screenshot-tumblr, captaincaranis. I think he’s kind of smiling here: pleasant thoughts / intense eyes.
