The ADHD urge to come up with a really elaborate idea for a project, hyperfixate on it for a month, realize you don't have the skill needed to finish, lose interest and abandone it, then repeat the process with a NEW idea that you are DEFINITELY gonna finish.

My family: Are you sure you want to sew that by hand? Why don’t you just use the sewing machine?
The sewing machine: In order to thread me, you must put your spindle through a complex series of loops and holes that span throughout my being and finish it off by threading through my needle eye. In order for me to do a proper stitching, you must pull the thread through the most impossible spot to thread behind the needle, then make sure the bobbin string as well as the string you just threaded are out of the way but also properly threaded through the “foot” that holds your fabric in place. Fail to do any of these steps properly while the needle is in the upwards position and I will unthread immediately. Hope you know how to properly rethread the bobin because that canundo easily too if you’re not careful…

Have you ever been reading a really good fic and then it gets so intense that you suddenly have the urge to get up and go away for a little? For example, the two main characters are arguing, just having this terrible huge fight and one of them says something that shocks the other into silence and I’m like “Haha look at the time! I must go now… I’m late for that thing in the kitchen, you know?…That thing I was supposed to do… In the kitchen….The thing in the kitchen” then I run away for five minutes.
What’s that all about? Do you guys do that too?
