Imagine if Cody was in TFP

I can vividly imagine this scene

Cody, walking into the base: Hey guys, come meet my new friend!

Megatron: Greetings.

Short scenario that works with the Cody is Onyx Prime reincarnated theory for Rescue Bots

Fic type: Angst

Main character(s): Cody, Chase

Summary: Cody just wants to act like a kid, but it's hard to do that when everybody is treating you like a god

--

"Hey, Chase, wanna watch this movie with me?" Cody waves a DVD case containing an old detective drama.

Chase looks at Cody, an unfamiliar respectfulness in his optics. Well, it used to be unfamiliar. Cody had gotten used to it by now, though he doesn't enjoy it. That's the look all the bots had been giving him since they realized what he is.

He knows he should be more interested in the fact that he's a reincarnation of a Prime. He is interested, but he doesn't understand why everybody's treating him differently. Sure, maybe in a past life he was a Prime, but in this one, he's just Cody. He just wants to be Cody, but it seems like everybody else wants him to be like Onyx Prime.

"As you wish," Chase says respectfully, tipping his helm briefly.

The young boy stops smiling when Chase does that. He grips the DVD case just a tiny bit harder and furrows his brow. A faint hint of orange dances across Cody's dark brown eyes.

Chase notices this, perhaps feeling the slight tension in the air. He crouches to be closer to eye level with Cody.

"Is something wrong, my Prime?" Chase questions gently, but still in that annoyingly polite tone.

Cody looks away from the police bot's face and pulls the DVD case up to his chest before speaking quietly.

"Stop that..." Cody mutters.

"Sir?" Chase tilts his helm slightly, his optics glowing a bit brighter.

"Stop that," Cody said a bit louder.

Chase doesn't have to say a thing for Cody to recognize the mild confusion on his face.

"Stop calling me your Prime," Cody looks down at the toes of his boots. One of his laces is untied. "And stop looking at me like that..."

"How would you like me to look at you?" Chase sounds genuinely caring, but for all the wrong reasons.

"Just look at me the same..."

--

Sorry if this is out of character or something, it's been a little bit since I watched Rescue Bots :')

TW: Sibling death

--

Sable ignored the tugging on her arm. She ignored the muffled, staticy voice telling her they have to go. It didn't matter. Nothing mattered except the shell laying in front of her.

The empty husk of the one she once held close. The bare, expressionless face and the lightless eyes that once held a vibrant gold glow. The small line of oil dripping from the frameless casing's mouth that had stained the dusky purple paint.

Her twin. Her dear, sweet twin. The one who knew her best. The only one Sable had called her packmate since coming online. Her beloved twin, her other half, was caught by a Husker.

The voice speaking to her became clearer as the shock wore off. So did Sable's grief.

"Sable, we have to go!" Lyra continued to tug on Sable's arm, trying to get her away from the shell of their packmate.

Sable stared at Maura's husk for a few more moments before wrenching her arm out of Lyra's grasp.

"No..." the lone twin muttered. "We're not leaving."

"I know you don't want to leave her, but it's not safe here," Lyra tried to reason. "I know you love her, but sitting here waiting for a Husker to find us isn't going to bring her back."

"...I can't leave her..." Sable once again muttered more to herself than to her last living packmate.

Lyra drew back from Sable. She just said I. She just said I.

"Sable..?" The red, imp-like android places a clawed hand on Sable's shoulder.

"We were one." The dusky-colored drone sits down on her knees in front of her identical husk. "And now we are none."

--

Wip of a story I might write at some point. For background, Sable and Maura were twin androids who had interlinked code, causing them to say things like "our favorite color" or "we're tired" instead of my or I.

Contrary Companions - A Poem of Spirits

--

You reap what I sew

You taught what I know

You lied for me

And I'd kill for you

You are my brother

But we're opposites, each other

I should not trust you

As other spirits don't

A prince now dethroned

A faun soon disowned

We are not as different

As we seem at first sight

You are my brother

We care for each other

Wingless as you are

Unskilled as I am

A nymph and a reaper

Maker and keeper

Two spirits akin

Two spirits banished

Executions and restoration

A defendant's desperation

You wanted to protect me

But I couldn't let you

You wanted to save mortals

You have good morals

But you disobeyed Them

And got exiled

I told a lie

To save my life

But it didn't save yours

I'm so sorry

Series: Little Nightmares

Characters: Mono, Six

Fic type: Alternate Timeline

Summary: A simple apology can fix so much

!!Spoilers for the ending of Little Nightmares 2!!

Mono felt the floor fall out from underneath him as he ran from the wall of flesh that chased him. He briefly glanced behind him and almost instantly regretted it, as the wall of flesh was no more than a foot away from him. He pushed off from the crumbling bridge and set his eyes on Six, who was crouched on the other side of the chasm and prepared to catch him.

His palms nearly missing, Mono grabbed onto Six's outstretched hand and held it for dear life. He breathed a sigh of relief and smiled until he looked up at his companion's face and saw her frightened expression. His smile immediately dissolved and was replaced with a wide-eyed stare as he looked up at Six. She didn't look scared of the flesh-wall that had threatened to crush the two - she looked scared of Mono.

After what felt like centuries, Mono felt the girl's grip on his hands loosen and saw her face turn cold. He gave her a pleading, confused look before it clicked.

"Six, please," he looked up at his friend with begging eyes. "I'm sorry."

In less than a second, Six's expression shifted from cold and logical to stunned and empathetic. She studied Mono's face for a brief moment before pulling him up onto the ledge next to her and dragging him by the hand into the glowing doorway that signified freedom to them both.

Media: Little Nightmares

Characters: Six, Mono, Thin Man

Fic Type: AU

Summary: Six isn't the only one with secrets.

Spoilers for Little Nightmares 2!

Mono could only watch as Six got taken from her hiding spot under a table. Her terrified shriek rang in the boy's ears, repeating like a broken record and making his head hurt. He burrowed deeper into the darkness of the shadows and waited until he saw the Thin Man glitch away with Six in hand to pull himself out from underneath the bed and back onto his feet.

The small boy started walk to the door before stopping and turning to stare at where Six was taken from just moments before. After a moment silent staring, he set his jaw and headed off back to the room with the TV and warped through to a new room. He clambered to his feet, made his way outside and, after a lot of running, jumping, and swinging, found his way into a post office. Mono traversed through the office with minimal struggle and baited the viewer away from the TV in her living room. He crossed the plank, climbed up the ladder, tricked another viewer, and warped through another television set. He kept traversing the Pale City, seeming suspiciously at ease. He showed neither care nor fright for the Viewers that he should have been terrified of.

He had no issues deceiving viewers or hopping over electrified puddles of storm water. He didn't care about the Viewers who so thoughtlessly threw themselves off of buildings just to be closer the the Broadcast. He moved through the city without struggle or concern, appearing rather calm for somebody who was trying to find their recently kidnapped friend.

He felt no fear as he zig-zagged between store shelves and avoided the manic crowd behind him. He never flinched at the crashing and thudding of shelves hitting the floor or Viewers crushing each other in the frenzy. He hopped through the TV and tumbled out of the other screen onto the cold, hard floor rather gracelessly, but quickly recovered and stood back up. After brushing some dust off of his coat and hat, he made his way into another room containing a TV with the dark figure of Six inside.

She had her hands pressed against the screen, banging on it in an act of futile desperation. Upon seeing the girl's image, Mono walked up to the screen, but instead of helping, he simply stood and gazed upon the screen that had claimed his friend. He stared at the silhouette, doing nothing until he saw the thin shadow of a boney hand reaching out to grab her. As the hand appeared, the boy raised his own, however he did not reach out to help. He merely waved and giggled as the girl he'd pretended to befriend got ripped away from the screen with a burst of static. He smiled at the sight, though nobody could see it underneath his paper bag.

After watching Six disappear, Mono took a few steps back from the static-filled screen and gazed upon the tall figure that emerged from the monitor. His face was set in an expression of expecting praise, hidden behind his paper bag.

"You did well, child," he praised with a small smile.

The Thin Man emerged from the television and looked down at the small boy in front of him. crouching, he put his hand out before the boy, and in response, the boy to climb atop his palm and sat down. The man then rose to his feet and gave the boy's head a few gentle pats with the tip of his index finger. As he did, he spoke in his deep, ever-glitching voice.

"Now, shall we see our 'guest?'" The man in the hat asked as the air flooded with the sound and feel of static.

Mono grinned giddily and thanked the man vigorously, for he was always eager to please his caretaker. The man chuckled at the boy's excitement, having taken a liking to his younger self.

Media: Little Nightmares

Characters: Six, Mono

Fic type: Canon Divergent

Summary: After the floor collapsed in on them, Mono and Six were faced with a new challenge neither of them knew how to handle.

!spoilers for Little Nightmares 2!

Six and Mono sprinted through the abandoned house as support beams cracked around them. It was only a matter of time before they felt the floor start to give way, and with one last futile attempt to avoid the falling debris, they fell into the pit below.

The air smelled of smoke. The room felt like it was spinning. Scraps of wood and cement were littered all over the floor. The floorboards of the lower floor were old and splintered, and they gave Mono several cuts as he got up. His brain felt like it was on fire, and moving too fast made him dizzier than he already was. He pulled himself to his feet as he observed his surroundings.

He shifted uncomfortably on his feet, having gotten a splinter from the wood floors, and looked around, only to spot Six wedged between debris. She lifted her head groggily and reached out for help, and in response, Mono grabbed her hands and tugged her out of the pile.

The two fell backward with a thud. Mono lay there for a second, catching his breath after getting the wind knocked out of him. After getting his breathing straight, Mono stood up and turned toward Six, who remained of the floor. He reached out to help her up, to which Six merely looked up at him with wide, scared eyes and a pale face.

"Mono," her voice cracked as she spoke. "I can't feel my legs."
